Chapter 1041 Charles Found Information on Hannah

Hannah couldn't understand anything. She just nodded and agreed to whatever the police said.

The lady said to the police, "I'll leave her to you then. I have things to do at home, so I'll head back. The rest is none of my business."

The police nodded. "Alright, you can go back now. We'll take care of her."

Knowing that Hannah wasn't mentally sound, the police's attitude improved significantly, and they were no longer impatient.

After the police assured her, the lady left.

The police stood up and said to Hannah, "Come with me. I'll take you to get your photo taken, and then we'll check the database to see if we can find you."

Hannah obediently nodded, stood up, and followed the police to the back.

The police took her to the back office, took out his phone, and was about to take a photo of her to send to the tech department to search the database.

Hannah stood there very cooperatively.

Just as the police was about to take the photo, the office door was suddenly pushed open from the outside. His hand slipped, resulting in a blurry photo.

At the same time, Charles's computer received a signal, and the computer emitted a very urgent alarm sound.

The police looked at the woman who suddenly barged in and said unhappily, "Who are you? This is the police station. If you have something to say, go find my colleagues outside. Don't just barge in here."

Tina saw the police holding a phone towards Hannah and wasn't sure if he had taken the photo. She walked over, pretending to be calm, and explained, "Sorry, I'm her family member. Your colleague said you brought her here, and I was so worried that I didn't knock before coming in."

"You're her family member?" The police scrutinized Tina without showing any emotion.

Then he asked Hannah, "Is she your family? Do you recognize her?"

Hannah saw Tina and immediately smiled, walking over to hold her hand affectionately. "Tina, you're finally here. I've been looking for Charles but couldn't find him. What should I do? Can you help me find him?"

Hearing this, the police confirmed that they indeed knew each other. He warned Tina, "Since she has mental issues, you need to keep a close eye on her. You can't be careless! This time you were lucky to find her, but it might not be so easy next time."

Tina explained, "I'm sorry. I had something to do last night and thought she was sleeping at home, so I went out. I didn't expect her to wake up and leave the house when she couldn't find me. I'm really sorry for the trouble."

The police didn't mind. "It's okay. Since everything's fine now, you can go."

Tina didn't move, her eyes fixed on his phone, and she asked tentatively, "I saw you taking a photo of her just now. Were you trying to...?"

The police, afraid she might misunderstand, quickly explained, "Please don't misunderstand. I didn't mean anything by it! She couldn't answer any of my questions, only saying her name was Evelyn Ross. She couldn't provide a phone number or social security number! And there were no missing person reports. I had no choice but to think of using her photo to search the database. I had just taken out my phone when you came in!"

Tina didn't care about that; she only cared about one thing. "Did you manage to take the photo?"

The police himself wasn't sure if he had taken the photo, so he took out his phone and saw a blurry image, barely recognizable as a person.

Tina's face immediately changed.

The police didn't notice her reaction and smiled. "I was just about to take the photo when you came in, and my hand slipped!"

Saying this, he immediately deleted the photo.

"Thank you! I'll take her home now." Saying this, Tina took Hannah's hand and led her away.

Hannah pouted, dissatisfied, "Tina, I want to find Charles. Where is Charles? I want to find Charles."

Tina patiently coaxed, "Sweetie, we're going home! You don't even know who Charles is or where he is! How can we find him? Are you hungry? How about I make you some pasta when we get home?"

Hannah's mind was very slow; she really didn't know who Charles was or what he looked like.

But for some reason, there was always a voice in her head telling her to find Charles, that she must find Charles. Her body would then be uncontrollably driven to look for Charles.

Tina took Hannah into a cab.

Hannah had been walking all night and had long since left the area where they lived.

Once in the cab, Tina took out her phone to inform Austin. [I found Hannah.]

Austin replied instantly: [Where are you now? Where did you find her?]

Tina: [I found her at the police station. She didn't know the way and was taken to the police station! We're in a cab now, heading back.]

Austin: [Did anything happen?]

Tina thought about the police taking a photo of Hannah earlier. She felt it was too complicated to explain, and with Hannah sitting next to her, it wasn't convenient to talk too much, so she replied briefly: [When will you arrive? Are you still coming?]

Austin: [I should be there in about half an hour.]

Tina: [Alright! We'll talk when we meet! When we get back, I'll first give her a bath and then let her sleep well.]

Austin replied without hesitation: [Alright, we'll talk when we meet.]

After finishing the conversation, Tina saw Hannah lazily leaning back in the seat, her hand on her stomach, pouting. "I'm hungry. I want to eat something."

Tina held her hand, her voice gentle and patient. "We'll be home soon. I'll make you something to eat then!"

Hannah nodded obediently.

Tina gently scolded, "Will you still run around? I almost died of worry when I couldn't find you at home. Don't run around anymore, okay?"

Hannah nodded again. "I know! I'll be good and won't run around anymore."

Seeing her innocent and obedient look, Tina affectionately ruffled her hair. "Good girl! You're the best!"

Hannah gave a silly smile.

Tina looked at her warmly and sighed inwardly. If they had met under different circumstances, as ordinary friends, she believed they could have been friends.

After spending this time together, she finally understood why Austin was so devoted to Hannah. Hannah was truly a very pure, kind, and innocent girl. She had hypnotized countless people, but none had become as cute and innocent as Hannah after losing their original memories.

Sometimes, Hannah spoke like a little girl. Although she knew nothing, she was very endearing and adorable.

After bringing Hannah home, Tina first let her take a bath, while she went to the kitchen to make something for Hannah to eat.

After eating, Hannah started yawning. Tina then let her go to bed. Not long after, Austin arrived.
