Chapter 94 Martin Goes to Find Charles Personally

Patricia's words came to an abrupt halt, and panic overtook her as she looked up to find Martin standing before her.

"You? I thought you left?" he asked.

Martin closed his eyes, took a deep breath to adjust his mindset, and slowed down his tone, "I was too harsh earlier. I apologize to you."

Regret filled him the moment he stormed out in anger.

How could he argue with a patient?

Having gone through great lengths to rescue her from the brink of death, he couldn't bear the thought of engaging in another quarrel with her.

Patricia stared at him in astonishment, unable to believe that he had taken the initiative to apologize.

Seeing her looking haggard, Martin began to regret their recent argument. He bent down, laid her on the bed, and said assertively, "You shouldn't be angry now, you should rest well."

Patricia gripped his sleeve tightly, refusing to let go. "I know you're angry, but I'm really worried about Charles. Can you tell me how he is doing?"

No matter how much Martin disliked Charles and had anger in his heart, he had to temporarily suppress it. "I swear to you, I will save Charles for you."

Patricia stared at him blankly, "Really?" she asked.

It wasn't that she didn't believe him, but she felt that the hope was slim. Too much time had passed.

Martin sighed helplessly and dialed Alan's number on his phone, "What's the next port of call for the OMM cargo ship?"

Alan reported truthfully, "The next port of call is Murmansk. Besides unloading, they also need to load goods. The total stoppage time is three days."

Martin made a decision immediately, "Station people at the port they're going to dock at. Once the cargo ship stops, immediately surround it and capture the person. Even if we have to flip the entire cargo ship, we must find Charles."

"......??" Alan was startled for a moment, not understanding why the boss suddenly cared so much about Charles.

If the boss had been so clear-minded and decisive on the day of the incident, Charles would have been found long ago. How could it drag on until now?

In the end, it was because the boss simply didn't care about finding the young master.

When he received no response from the other end of the call, Martin said impatiently, "Didn't you hear me?"

"I heard, I heard, I'll make arrangements now!" Alan was about to hang up the phone when Martin stopped him. "Arrange a passenger ship for me," Martin instructed, "I'll personally go there."

A passenger ship travels faster than a cargo ship. If it doesn't stop along the way, it should arrive at the Murmansk port on the same day as the cargo ship.

Alan was astonished and asked, "You, you're going to chase after him personally?"

Martin raised an eyebrow, "Any objections?"

Alan tentatively asked, "Did you find out Charles's true identity?"

Otherwise, why would you suddenly care so much?

Martin asked in surprise, "What identity?"

Realizing he almost revealed something, Alan desperately shook his head, "No, nothing!"

Then he deliberately changed the topic, "You haven't rested for several days and nights because of Madam, and now you're rushing off to find Charles. I'm afraid your body won't be able to handle it. Let me go, I will definitely bring the young master back for you."

His wording made Martin displeased, and he corrected him, "It's for Patricia, not for me!"

Alan repeatedly nodded in agreement, saying, “Yes, yes, it's for Madam, not for you!”

Martin didn't understand why Alan was becoming more and more fussy.

Impatiently, he urged, “Hurry up and go! Just find someone to look after Patricia and Randy. Remember, they must stick to them like glue.”

"Understood!" Upon receiving the instructions, Alan swiftly went to carry them out.

After ending the call, Martin looked at Patricia.

"Are you relieved now? I will personally go and bring Charles back for you. You can rest and recover in the hospital."

From his conversation with Alan, Patricia vaguely guessed what was going on. She quickly sat up and grabbed his hand.

"I want to go with you. I need to personally confirm that Charles is alright."

At this moment, she couldn't care less if Martin would discover Charles' true identity. She just wanted Charles to be safe.

Martin furrowed his brows and firmly refused, "No, your health is not good right now. It's not suitable for you to travel long distances. You need to rest and take care of Randy. I'll go."

"But..." Patricia wanted to say something more, but Martin interrupted her.

"Trust me. Since I've promised to bring him back, I will definitely do so. Do you want him to be found while you fall ill?"

Looking into his resolute eyes, Patricia had to swallow the words she was about to say.

Alan was very efficient in handling matters. In no time at all, he had taken care of everything Martin instructed.

Martin temporarily entrusted the company to him, took a shower at the hospital, changed into a convenient casual outfit, and prepared to go out.

Patricia looked at him, her lips moving hesitantly as she debated whether or not to tell him Charles' true identity.

After all, even if she didn't say it now, Martin would eventually find out when they met.

Thinking that she still wanted to go with him, Martin spoke warmly, "Don't worry, Ryan will come with me. He has some influence in Kola Bay and can be of assistance. You should rest well in the hospital and take care of Randy. I'll be back in one to two months, and I will definitely bring Charles back."

"I trust you!" Seeing how wholeheartedly he devoted himself even without knowing Charles was his biological son, Patricia was moved to tears.

Martin affectionately ruffled her head, his eyes filled with deep overflowing affection.

"Martin, actually..." Just as Patricia was about to tell him the truth, Martin's phone suddenly rang.

It was a call from Ryan, urging him to leave right away. In the end, Patricia didn't have a chance to reveal the truth until Martin left.

When Martin arrived at the ferry terminal, Ryan had been waiting for a while.

Today, he was also dressed in a refreshing casual outfit, wearing a sun hat and sunglasses, looking carefree.

Standing beside him was Carter, dressed casually just like Martin.

When he saw Martin boarding the ship, he grinned at him and said, "We brothers rarely get a chance to travel together. We have to bring Carter along. Let's depart quickly, I can't wait."

Martin remained noncommittal.

Concerned, Carter asked, "Martin, I heard from Ryan that you're suddenly going to Kola Bay and it's urgent. Did something happen?"

Ryan chimed in, "More than urgent, I even contacted the coastal police of Kola Bay. Seems like this operation is quite big!"

"Coastal police?" Carter was surprised that it had attracted the attention of the maritime authorities.

Martin found a place on the deck, sat down silently, and looked ahead expressionlessly.

Ryan and Carter exchanged glances, then both sat down as well. Carter asked, "What exactly happened? Is it about Patricia?"

There couldn't be anything else that would make their composed leader so anxious.

Martin remained silent for a moment, not hiding anything from them, and said in a low voice, "Her son has been kidnapped and is currently on the OMM cargo ship, about to be sold off in Kazan. Alan found out that his next port of call is at Kola Bay, and he will stay there for three days."

Ryan exclaimed in shock, "What? Randy has been kidnapped? When did this happen? How come we didn't know anything?"

Even the usually calm and reserved Carter showed surprise.

"Not Randy, it's the son she had with another man," Martin said, his sharp gaze flickering like ice.

"My God! Patricia actually has another son!" Ryan was stunned beyond belief. It was simply unbelievable that Patricia had another child.

"Look at you, you finally got rid of Patricia! I told you before, Patricia is a good woman, while Debbie is hypocritical and pretentious. But you didn't listen and insisted on divorcing her. And what's the result? You truly deserve this..." Ryan kept on talking.

Martin glanced at him, his dark eyes as chilling as ice, sending a shiver down one's spine. Sensing the situation, Ryan immediately shut his mouth.

Carter remained silent, looking sympathetically at Martin, wanting to comfort him but not knowing where to start.

With a loud bang, the cruise ship set sail towards Kola Bay.
