Chapter 1177 Is Austin's Father Hunter?

Seeing Karen at a loss for words, Hannah turned to Austin and asked seriously, "Who's your dad?"

Maybe this could unravel the feud between the three families and Austin.

Could this be the key to solving all the problems?

Austin shook his head. "I don't know!"

Over the years, he had asked his mother countless times about his biological father.

How he died.

But his mother had always refused to tell him.

To this day, he still knew nothing about his father.

Hannah thought he was deliberately hiding the truth and said, "You've lived with us for twenty years. You know my dad's character best. And Martin and Ryan, they're all stand-up guys!

When they found out you were adopted by the Moore family, they never treated you any differently than they treated me!

Every time they got gifts, they always got two! We celebrated our birthdays together, and there were always two birthday cakes.

Do you really think people who treated an adopted kid like their own would kill your dad?

There must be some misunderstanding!"

Austin knew she didn't believe him and said helplessly, "I really don't know!"

Seeing his expression, which didn't seem like he was lying, Hannah sneered, "She won't even tell you who your biological father is. How do you know if she's telling the truth or lying? Aren't you afraid you're not her biological child at all?"

Austin lowered his head and rubbed his face in pain. "I wish I weren't! But, but I am indeed her biological son. We did a DNA test. We are mother and son."

And this was his greatest pain and contradiction.

He hoped he was her biological son so he could like Hannah and be with her.

But he also hoped he wasn't her biological son.

He liked the Moore family, liked Carter and Lassie, and wished they were his biological parents.

But if they were his biological parents, he couldn't like his own sister.

For years, he had been tormented by these conflicting emotions.

Seeing his painful expression, a name suddenly flashed through Hannah's mind, and she asked instinctively. "Is it Hunter?"

As soon as she said this, both Karen and Austin were stunned.

Austin frowned slightly. "Who's Hunter?"

Hannah seemed not to hear his question and stared at Karen, asking word by word, "Is Austin's biological father Hunter?"

She had heard this name more than once from others.

The general idea was that Austin's methods were very similar to Hunter's.

If they weren't sure Hunter was dead, they would suspect he was behind everything.

Although she had only casually listened at the time, the thought suddenly popped into her mind and grew stronger.

If Hunter was really dead, why were Austin's methods so similar to Hunter's?

Now they learned that everything was controlled by Austin's mother.

Could it be that Hunter was Austin's biological father?

This woman used methods identical to Hunter's because she was Hunter's woman and knew his methods well?

Thinking this way, everything seemed to make sense.

Hannah noticed Karen's eyelashes tremble slightly when she asked the question.

A faint emotion gradually gathered in Karen's eyes, slowly starting to churn and surge.

Before Austin could catch any emotion in her eyes, he rushed over, grabbed Karen's shoulders, and turned her to face him.

Austin was clearly eager to know who his biological father was, his expression excited, and his voice trembling. "Is what she said true? Is Hunter my biological father?"

Karen quietly looked at him, the surging waves in her eyes retreating swiftly.

She suddenly shrugged and laughed coldly. "So what if he is? So what if he isn't?"

Before Austin could react, Hannah angrily said, "If it's Hunter, then he deserved to die! Why do you still want to avenge him?"

Since Hunter and Austin's methods were identical, it proved that his character was despicable and he would stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

Such a person deserved to die, didn't he?

It was laughable that the woman still wanted to avenge him.

Clearly, they were the ones at fault.

Karen's emotions were instantly provoked by her, and she slammed her hand on the table, standing up abruptly. "You're talking nonsense."

Her brief words confirmed Hannah's suspicion, and made Austin believe Hannah's guess.

Karen said excitedly, "What do you know? Do you know how much he suffered as a child? Do you know how hard it was for him? He just fell in love with a woman he shouldn't have, and that was his fate.

What is so great about Patricia? Everyone likes her.

Everything he did was just to win Patricia. What was his fault? Why did you all treat him like that? He's already dead, and you still slander him."

Hannah suddenly laughed. "You're insane! He liked Patricia, but Patricia didn't like him! If I'm not mistaken, Patricia was already married to Martin at the time, right?

She was married and had children, and he came along to interfere. She didn't like him, so he schemed and tried everything to win Patricia!

His unhappy childhood is his problem and has nothing to do with anyone else.

During the years I lived with the White family, I was also living in hell every day! But I never gave up on myself.

I always worked hard to improve my life.

He fell in love with someone he shouldn't have, and that was wrong. Doing everything to win over a woman who didn't like him was also wrong!

He did so many wrong things and finally faced the consequences, and you still say he wasn't wrong? You want your son to avenge him? Ha.

That's just ridiculous."

Every word she said hit Karen's sore spots precisely.

Making Karen instantly furious.

She rushed to Hannah, grabbed her neck tightly, and shook her violently. "What are you saying? If you dare slander him again, I'll kill you right now! You bitch, you seduced my son, Patricia seduced my husband, you're all bad people, you all deserve to die."

Karen's eyes were bloodshot, like a raging beast, seemingly ready to snap Hannah's neck at any moment.
