Chapter 1051 Interrogating Tina

Tina only froze for a moment when Martin said the first sentence. Then, she returned to her previous state.

Faced with Martin's explanation, she still appeared indifferent.

Martin admired her even more. "A psychologist is really different, grasping people's hearts so firmly! We have also rescued Hannah, and we can see that you have taken good care of her during this time."

"We are reasonable people! We can see that you don't want to hurt her, so we don't intend to be ruthless with you. If you can cure her and end her hypnosis, we can spare you this time."

Tina still didn't react. She just moved her body, shifted her butt to the innermost part of the wooden bed in the holding cell, curled up her knees, hugged them with her hands, and looked at the bed with a blank expression.

Charles's patience was worn to the extreme by her. If the other party begged for mercy or cried, he wouldn't be so angry. But her indifferent attitude drove him crazy.

After saying so much, he hadn't even found her vulnerabilities. How could he get her to end the hypnosis on Hannah?

Compared to him, Martin was much calmer. "You should know, you're not the only psychologist in the world. Since we already know she was hypnotized by you, we can think of a solution! If you don't want to end it, someone else will. The reason I'm here to negotiate with you is just to give you a chance."

Tina, who had always been indifferent, gave a mocking smile at the corner of her mouth. That smile was full of disdain.

Charles and Martin both fell silent.

Martin knew this was the disdain and contempt of an expert for her opponent. This woman was very confident, held herself in high regard, and found what he said laughable.

Only someone with absolute confidence would dare to be so arrogant. It seemed Tina was far more difficult to deal with than he had imagined.

"You can make any request, as long as we can do it, we will, including giving you your freedom! Our only request is to end the hypnosis on Hannah," Martin continued.

Tina simply buried her face between her legs, not even showing them her face.

Charles was furious. He had never been this angry before. It was like he had thrown a hard punch, only to hit cotton. He was full of anger but had nowhere to vent it.

Martin knew that saying more was useless, and continuing would not yield any results.

Tina didn't intend to agree to their proposal, and they couldn't use the torture they had once used on Hunter on her.

Not to mention she had taken good care of Hannah, and if Hannah clamored to see her and saw her covered in injuries, it would be hard to explain to Hannah.

"Tina, don't..." Charles was so angry that his fists cracked, almost hitting her, but Martin pulled him out.

Charles angrily said, "Dad, why did you pull me out? She hasn't agreed to end the hypnosis on Hannah yet!"

Martin sighed. "You're usually quite smart, why can't you see through this now? You're too concerned to think straight! The more critical the moment, the more you need to calm down."

"I know, but... but seeing her like that just now, I just couldn't control myself!" Charles felt a gnawing discomfort in his heart, even a sense of unprecedented powerlessness.

He knew it was all provoked by Tina. Yet he couldn't do anything about her.

If Tina were a man, he could at least beat him up to vent his anger. But she was a woman.

Martin, afraid that their conversation would be overheard by Tina, pulled Charles out of the police station before speaking again, "Since we know Hannah was hypnotized, let's find a psychologist to end it."

Thinking of Tina's mocking smile just now, Charles hesitated, "Will it work?"

Martin sighed. "We have to try! She's only in her twenties; I don't believe her hypnosis can't be broken! The world is big, and there's always someone better."

Charles thought Martin was right! After all, Tina was only in her early twenties. No matter how capable she was, there were always people better than her.

Martin patted his shoulder in comfort. "This trip wasn't in vain; at least we know Hannah was hypnotized! I'll immediately have Alan find the best psychologist."

"I'll have Wyatt look too."

On their way back to the hospital, they each made phone calls, instructing their assistants to find the best psychologists in the world.

When they returned to the hospital, Hannah was still sleeping.

Charles asked, "Did she wake up at all?"

Ryan shook his head. "No, she's been sleeping the whole time! She must be really tired."

Charles, still worried, walked to the bedside, placed his palm on Hannah's forehead to check if she had a fever, wondering why she was sleeping so long.

Feeling the normal temperature of his palm, he finally breathed a sigh of relief, pulled up a chair, and sat by the bed to watch over Hannah.

Meanwhile.

Austin was in the hotel, constantly calling Tina, but he couldn't get through; the line was always busy.

A sense of foreboding rose in his heart. Could it be that just that one blurry photo exposed Hannah? Could something have happened? No, it couldn't be. Charles, no matter how resourceful, couldn't be that capable.

Tina had said that the photo was so blurry that one couldn't even see the person clearly. Charles definitely couldn't find them. But why had Tina, who was always so meticulous, lost contact?

She used to report her whereabouts to him in a timely manner. By now, they should have left the country, but she hadn't sent any messages.

Although Austin was very worried about Tina, he didn't dare stay in the hotel for long.

After putting his phone back in his pocket, he left the hotel and went to a restaurant to buy dinner for Lassie before heading to the hospital.

As soon as he walked in, he heard Lassie on the phone. "You found Hannah! Okay, you stay there with Charles, Austin and I can handle things here! Once Austin comes to relieve me, I'll go check on Hannah."

Austin happened to hear this sentence. His heart sank. The lunchbox in his hand fell to the ground.

Charles found Hannah? He really found her with a photo so blurry one couldn't see the face. Tina didn't even have time to escape with Hannah.

Hannah was now with Charles. What about Tina? Could she have been captured too? Would she give him up?

He nervously watched Lassie, listening intently to see if he could hear the conversation on the other end.

Unfortunately, Lassie didn't have the speaker on, and he could only hear someone talking on the other end, but couldn't make out the words.
