Chapter 1045 Charles Arrived in Country H

At the moment the plane was about to take off, Charles suddenly remembered something. He immediately took out his phone and called Martin.

The call was answered instantly.

Martin said, "We've searched every possible hiding spot in the neighborhood and haven't found Hannah. This is an old neighborhood with no property management! The police are searching house by house, but they haven't reached their place yet."

Charles's suspicion grew stronger. "I overlooked something! They might have already escaped! Dad, send people to lock down all entry and exit points in Country H! Also, check the smuggling routes. If they're not in the neighborhood, they're likely planning to flee."

Earlier, he was too excited about seeing Hannah, so he only thought about surrounding the neighborhood and forgot they might escape. He should have locked down all entry and exit points.

Martin slapped his forehead. "Right! How could I forget such an important thing?"

In the past, the first thing he did when looking for someone was to lock down all entry and exit points to prevent them from escaping.

Today, he completely forgot and only thought about surrounding the neighborhood.

Charles instructed, "Especially the smuggling routes! The police should know where the smuggling routes are. Have them hide! If the other side sees police there, they definitely won't show up."

Martin instantly understood. "I get it! You want to lie in wait and catch them when they think they haven't been discovered."

Charles nodded. "Exactly! Country H isn't too big, but it's not small either! If they hide, it will be hard for us to find them. The best way is to make them show up themselves."

The police hid at various smuggling routes. That person would be extremely cautious when trying to take Hannah away.

If she saw police there, she definitely wouldn't show up and would find a place to hide with Hannah.

To make that person show up with Hannah, they couldn't let her know there was an ambush. Only then would she dare to show up, and they could catch her in one go.

Martin understood and nodded. "Got it! Don't worry, Ryan and I are here to help you."

After ending the call, Charles put his phone on silent mode as the plane took off.

Randy looked at the exhausted but gradually brightening Charles and said with concern, "We still have ten hours before we reach Country H. You should get some sleep! You'll need the energy to find Hannah! If you collapse from exhaustion, it will slow us down."

He knew that to make Charles rest, he had to bring up Hannah.

Sure enough. Charles, who had no intention of sleeping, nodded after hearing his words, closed his eyes, and leaned back in his seat.

"I'll sleep for a bit! Wake me up when we arrive." Although he knew he wouldn't sleep long and might wake up before they arrived, he still reminded Randy just in case.

He thought Randy was right. Even though they had roughly located the other side, unexpected things could happen. To find Hannah quickly, he needed to rest and recharge.

He thought it would take him a long time to fall asleep, but as soon as he closed his eyes, he fell into a deep sleep.

Randy, sitting across the aisle from Charles, soon heard the sound of even breathing. He got up to ask the flight attendant for a blanket and gently covered Charles with it.

Charles slept very deeply. His breathing grew louder.

Randy knew Charles was truly exhausted. Charles used to be a light sleeper, waking up at the slightest noise, but this time he didn't react at all.

He knew that finding Hannah had finally allowed Charles to relax, so he could sleep so deeply.

Not just Charles, but everyone at home hadn't rested well. The house had been shrouded in gloom. It was lifeless. No one had a smile on their face. But now, things were looking up!

Finally, there was news of Hannah. Hopefully, this time they could successfully find Hannah. Randy looked at Charles with concern, then leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes to sleep.

They both slept very deeply this time. Charles, who thought he wouldn't sleep long, slept for a full ten hours. He only woke up when someone gently patted his shoulder. "Mr. Watson, we've arrived at the airport!"

Charles realized the plane had landed when he heard the flight attendant's soft, gentle voice. He instantly became alert and sat up straight.

Randy was also woken up and was rubbing his eyes. "Have we arrived?"

The flight attendant smiled. "Yes, we've arrived at Country H's airport! Would you like to rest a bit more or disembark now?"

Randy immediately woke up. "Disembark."

As he spoke, he took off the blanket that had somehow covered him and handed it to the flight attendant.

Charles had already taken his backpack and put his laptop inside. They disembarked together.

Randy apologized, "Charles, I'm sorry, I fell asleep too!"

He hadn't expected to sleep for ten hours straight. This had never happened before.

Charles didn't blame him and smiled. "It's not your fault. You all haven't rested well because of me. I should be the one apologizing."

Randy patted his shoulder. "No need for apologies between us."

Charles smiled and didn't say more.

They left the airport, and the driver Martin had arranged was already waiting. Seeing them, he immediately opened the car door.

After getting in the car, Charles asked, "Where are we going now?"

The driver answered honestly, "Mr. Langley has searched the neighborhood inside and out three times and hasn't found any trace of Hannah! But he did find the landlord who rented to them. The landlord opened the door and found they had already left! Mr. Langley suspects they're trying to escape and is currently with the police at the smuggling routes. They haven't found any trace of Hannah yet. I'll take you to the smuggling routes to meet Mr. Langley."

After hearing the driver's words, Charles frowned tightly and muttered, "As expected, that person is very cautious. Hannah's escape was an accident. She's afraid I'll find Hannah and is already preparing to flee."

Randy said, "Hopefully, they won't escape this time!" Otherwise, it would be too cruel.

Charles asked the driver, "How many smuggling routes are there in Country H?"

The driver was taken aback and shook his head. "I don't know, Mr. Langley didn't say."

Seeing he couldn't get any information from the driver, Charles called Martin. "Dad, how many smuggling routes are there in Country H?"

"I asked the police, and they checked. There are twenty-two smuggling routes! Each one is now ambushed by police. As soon as they show up, we can catch them."
