Chapter 1258 The Wedding in Progress
Seeing that Randy didn't answer, Stella leaned in closer, affectionately linking her arm with his and shaking it playfully. "But I miss you so much! You have no idea how bored I am alone in the hotel! Everyone is so busy, even my parents are helping out, but I'm the only one with nothing to do, unable to help with anything."
Her words effortlessly shifted the topic.
The two were so close that Randy could clearly smell the faint scent of gardenias on Stella.
Randy couldn't help but feel his heart flutter, his heart pounding wildly.
Even his voice became low and husky when he spoke. "Charles is getting married, a once-in-a-lifetime event, so of course, everyone is personally involved. That's why everyone has been so busy these past few days. But it's just these few days! Once the wedding is over today, everyone will be done, and the remaining work can be handed over to the servants!"
Hearing this, Stella's eyes instantly lit up. "Does that mean we can go back to Country D after the wedding?"
Randy nodded, "If there are no special circumstances, we should be able to go back the day after tomorrow!"
Stella was so happy she almost jumped up. "That's great! You'll finally have time to spend with me!"
Randy placed his hands properly on his thighs, and after hearing her words, his long fingers nervously tapped lightly on his thighs. "I'm about to go to Country Y for a tour, so I'm afraid I won't have much time to spend with you!"
"What?" Stella exclaimed, her eyes wide as she looked at Randy. "When did this happen? How come you didn't mention it before? Didn't you say you would be resting at home for a while?"
She wasn't actually against Randy going on tour.
It was his career and passion, and he was still so young, so it was normal for him to be busy with work.
It just felt so sudden!
Thinking about possibly not seeing him for a long time made her inexplicably sad.
They hadn't even parted yet, and she was already starting to miss him.
Randy said, "It was decided three days ago! Actually, we've been in contact for a long time, but I couldn't find the time! Three days ago, they contacted Jett again, and I happened to have an opening! They requested so many times, and it was hard to refuse their enthusiasm."
Jett was his agent, responsible for handling his work engagements.
But the truth was different.
Country Y had indeed been in contact with him for a long time.
His schedule had always been packed, and previously he really didn't have the time.
After Andrea suddenly left, he started to slow down. Later, he genuinely wanted to rest, so they never reached an agreement.
After the last tour ended, Country Y had been in contact with Jett.
He used rest as an excuse to decline.
He had thought about it; if he spent every day with Stella, he would only fall deeper.
He couldn't continue to let his feelings run wild.
He needed to calm down.
Spending some time apart from Stella and throwing himself into work was the best solution for now.
So, he had Jett accept the invitation from Country Y.
In the past, his tour schedules were decided six months to a year in advance. This was the only time he decided after just one night of consideration.
This decision was indeed made hastily, but it was well thought out.
So far, only he and the people in Country Y knew about it, and the news hadn't been released yet.
After attending Charles's wedding and returning to Country D, the news would be released, and Country Y would start promoting and publishing the news.
He thought it through very carefully.
Unexpectedly, Stella didn't follow the plan at all.
Hearing that he was going to Country Y for a tour, she immediately said excitedly, "I'll go with you!"
Randy was stunned.
Stella continued excitedly, "Last time you went to Country R for a tour, didn't I go with you too? I thought it was really fun! We got to travel to so many places for free, and every time we arrived somewhere, we could take two days to tour the famous local spots! How great is that!"
Randy was a bit shocked.
Stella started planning with her fingers! "When exactly are we leaving? I need to ask for leave from school again! How long are we going this time? I need to plan ahead! Have you prepared the pieces for the performance?
I don't know what the weather is like in Country Y, so I can decide what clothes to bring. If Francis and the others know you're touring in Country Y, they'll be thrilled.
Are you staying in a hotel or at the Koch Mansion? I think the Kochs like you so much, they'll definitely want you to stay at their house.
Then I can stay next door to you, and it'll be convenient to find you."
Stella kept talking nonstop.
Randy's eyebrows twitched.
Seeing Stella so happy, he couldn't bear to tell her at this joyful moment that he hadn't planned to take her with him.
He just gently said, "Doesn't the school mind you taking leave all the time?"
Stella pouted and said indifferently, "No, they don't mind. My dad and Charles donate so much money to the school every year; they wouldn't dare have an opinion about me."
Randy was speechless.
Thinking about going to Country Y with Randy soon, Stella couldn't contain her excitement.
She wasn't interested in the tour.
She wasn't interested in traveling abroad either.
Since she was three years old, her parents had taken her to travel all over the country every year, so there was nowhere she hadn't been.
What made her happy was being able to go out with Randy.
Just thinking about it made her so excited that she probably wouldn't be able to sleep.
Stella chatted with Randy all the way, not feeling bored at all, and the forty-minute journey passed quickly.
Upon arrival, Stella and a few ladies accompanied Hannah to the dressing room.
The wedding was held on the lawn of a resort.
A very large stage was set up in the middle.
Guest chairs were placed on both sides below the stage.
A long red carpet was laid out in the center, leading all the way to the dressing room.
Next to the lawn was a large natural waterfall, and the sound of the flowing water brought a refreshing breeze, giving a cool and pleasant feeling.
The bride's family and relatives sat on the right side of the wedding stage.
In the first row were Lassie, Carter, Shirley, Ryan, Daisy, and Tyler.
Behind them were members of the Moore family and long-time business friends of the Moore family.
Charles's family and relatives sat on the left side of the wedding stage.
Martin, Patricia, Fannie, Elijah, Maria, and Declan sat in the first row.
In the second row were Maximilian, Carol, Kaleb, Riley, Rosalind, and Ariel.
The rest of the people sat behind them.
On the lawn, "The Wedding March" was playing, and the area was filled with flowers and red balloons, creating a festive atmosphere. Everyone present had happy smiles on their faces, sincerely wishing the couple well.
