Chapter 730 A Trap Within a Trap
Rock scanned the crowd and sneered, "Martin's in my hands now. Any of you make a move, and one call from me, he's gone without a trace."
Sebastian chuckled, dripping with contempt, "You think we didn't know you planted bombs in the industrial area?"
Rock's eyes widened.
Sebastian pressed on, "You think we don't know the Koch family has your spies? You really believe we'd let someone eavesdrop on us? Your brother's probably already in our hands."
Rock's confidence wavered.
Riley turned to Joe, "Mr. Hill, what should we do with them?"
Since Rock had killed Joe's son, his fate was in Joe's hands.
Joe's face turned red with rage as he glared at Rock, "Tell me. Is Hunter Miller really my son?"
Rock stayed calm, "I told you. I don't know, and I don't care!"
Same answer as before.
Joe figured he really didn't know.
"Then tell me, did you switch the hair samples?"
For some reason, Joe felt Rock looked familiar, but he was sure they'd never met.
Suddenly, Joe remembered something and his eyes widened, "Were you the one who bumped into me at the paternity testing center that day?"
Rock admitted, "Yes."
Joe continued, "And you switched the hair samples then."
Rock nodded, "Yes."
Joe felt dizzy, stepping back. He didn't know whether to be happy or angry, "If he really is my son, why switch the hair samples?"
Patricia quickly caught the slip, "Whose hair was it then?"
Rock replied, "It was the real Billy's."
Patricia broke out in a cold sweat.
The hair was actually Billy's.
Patricia had thought it was Carol's!
This meant Hunter had been scheming for a long time, even preparing the hair in advance.
Hunter could calculate things so precisely.
This guy was truly terrifying.
If Hunter used his smarts in business, he could make a name for himself globally.
But he was devious and used his intelligence for evil.
Seeing Joe hesitate, Susan couldn't hold back, "Kill him. Kill him. We must avenge Billy."
Riley looked at Joe, unsure.
Susan lost her mind, "What are you all waiting for? Kill him! He killed my son. I want him dead. Kill him."
Joe understood Susan's pain.
Looking at his son's murderer, he finally said, "Susan's right. He killed my son and should pay with his life! Mr. Koch, please kill him!"
With the decision made, Riley didn't hesitate. He waved his hand and coldly said, "Kill him."
At Riley's command, the four men blocking Rock's path rushed forward.
Riley pulled Patricia back.
Joe also pulled Susan and Carol back, giving them space.
Dozens of bodyguards rushed in.
Rock was instantly surrounded.
Though skilled, he faced four special forces soldiers and dozens of trained men. He had no chance.
On one side, the fight was intense.
On the other, it was equally fierce.
Sebastian led a team to nab Terry in the industrial area, while Martin took another crew to capture Hunter.
Hunter was chilling in his room, waiting for news. He thought Rock and Terry had gone to deal with Martin.
If Rock managed to kill Martin, Hunter would have Patricia all to himself.
As Hunter daydreamed about his future with Patricia, he heard a noise outside. Thinking Rock and Terry were back, he got up excitedly.
But when he saw Martin standing in the living room, he froze.
Martin was holding a phone with an app open, showing a blinking red dot.
"A tracking device?"
The red dot marked this house.
Hunter, quick on the uptake, glanced at the screen and got it immediately.
"Do I still have your tracking device on me?"
Martin closed the app, turned off the phone, and admitted it, "Yes."
Hunter instinctively touched his wound. Did Martin plant more than one tracker in him?
But the wound felt fine, no pain or itching.
Seeing Hunter's confusion, Martin smiled, "A tracker doesn't have to be on your body; it can be in your stomach."
Hunter's eyes widened.
A tracker in his stomach?
When did Martin put it there?
Wouldn't stomach acid corrode it?
Martin laughed, "Charles's special tracker resists stomach acid! You're cunning, so we had to be cunning too."
Hunter had lost to Martin again.
Furious but trying to stay calm, he said, "Martin Langley, you are always living up to your reputation! Although you are smarter, I have stood the game at a higher level."
Martin raised his eyebrows, "What do you mean?"
Hunter sat on the sofa, "You're here trying to catch me, but Rock's probably already killed your woman."
Martin stood in the living room, smiling faintly and peacefully, "So that's what you're talking about!"
Hunter felt uneasy.
Martin usually dropped everything to save Patricia as long as she was in danger. But he was so calm now.
Could it be...
Soon Martin personally confirmed his guess, "You think I don't know Terry planted bombs to kill me? You think I don't know Rock would sneak into the Koch family to kidnap Patricia? You think I don't know someone in the Koch family is in collusion with you?"
Hunter's heart sank.
Martin continued, "Hunter, today I will get rid of you all, and completely."
After a pause, he added, "Do you really think Rock and Terry can rescue you from the Koch family? If I didn't let them rescue you, how could I get you all in one go? Hunter, it's time to finish the business between us today."
