Chapter 1044 Departure to Country H

Randy curiously asked, "Can we find out the identity of that woman?"

"Not for now! She was wearing a mask and a hat! I hacked into the police surveillance system, and it seems she deliberately avoided the cameras. We couldn't see her face."

After finding Hannah, Charles's spirits lifted, and he returned to his former calm and wise self. His thinking was clear, methodical, and intelligent.

Randy asked, "Can we identify her through her body shape?"

Charles shook his head. "No, there are too many people with similar body shapes. Both appearance and body shape need to match to confirm an identity. If only one matches, it's easy to make a mistake."

"True!" Randy nodded and asked again, "Have you found any new clues?"

"I found the license plate number of the taxi they took! I'm checking where they got off."

After answering, Charles suddenly remembered something and looked up at Randy. "Confirm the flight route. I need to fly to Country H immediately."

Randy slapped his forehead. "I was so happy that I forgot! I'll call the airport now and have them arrange the flight route!"

Saying this, he took out his phone and called the airport.

Charles quickly found the neighborhood where Hannah was temporarily staying through the taxi driver.

He immediately sent the address to Martin and called him. "Dad, does the Langley family have a branch in First Mountain City? This is Hannah's current address. If there is a branch in First Mountain City, send people to surround the neighborhood immediately."

He couldn't believe that he couldn't find Hannah this way.

Country Z was too big to find someone. A neighborhood, no matter how big, couldn't be bigger than Country Z.

Martin said, "I've contacted the police in First Mountain City. They are ready and can move out at any time."

Charles immediately said, "Have them guard all the entrances and exits of the neighborhood. The other party is very smart. This time we found them might be a moment of carelessness. They might move again soon! We must guard the entrances and exits and search one place at a time."

"Okay! I'll have them move out immediately. I'll keep you updated."

Charles nodded. "Good! You stay safe too!"

After ending the call, Charles closed his laptop. He stood up, ready to leave with his computer, but Randy stopped him. "Where are you going?"

Charles answered without hesitation, "Country H."

Randy pointed at him from head to toe. "You're going to Country H looking like this? Do you want to see what you look like now?"

Saying this, he took out his phone, opened the camera, and handed it to Charles.

Charles finally saw his current appearance. His hair hadn't been cut for over four months and had grown to his shoulders. It was messy and dry like straw due to long-term neglect.

He had a full beard. His eyes were surrounded by dark circles, and his eyes were bloodshot.

Four months of not eating, drinking, or sleeping had made him lose a lot of weight, and his eyes were sunken.

In his current state, anyone who didn't know him might think he was a drug addict. Charles was silent.

Randy said speechlessly, "Don't rush. The airline's flight arrangement will take some time! Go take a shower, change into clean clothes, shave, and put on some skincare! Your face is so dry it's peeling. I'll get a barber to give you a haircut! You've been apart from Hannah for over four months. Do you want her to see you like this? You should at least look a bit more handsome!"

Charles agreed with Randy. He touched his face, feeling the roughness, and realized he needed to take care of himself. He couldn't let Hannah see him like this. "Okay! I'll go shower now. Get the barber here immediately."

"Got it!"

After speaking, Charles put his laptop back on the desk and found a clean set of casual clothes in the wardrobe before heading to the bathroom.

Randy called the barber.

An hour later, Charles was a new man. His hair was styled handsomely, and with a white casual short-sleeve shirt and pants, he was back to being the clean, handsome young man he used to be.

He packed a couple of changes of clothes and his laptop into a backpack.

Randy, who was also going with him, packed a few clothes as well.

As they came downstairs with their backpacks, Patricia and Fannie happened to return from outside.

Without any news of Hannah, the two were worriedly discussing how to get Charles to cheer up when they saw two almost identical people, except for their clothes, coming down the stairs.

Patricia and Fannie were stunned, their mouths wide open.

"You... you... you..." Too shocked, Patricia stammered for a while, unable to complete a sentence.

Randy explained, "Charles found Hannah. We've arranged a flight and are heading over now!"

Patricia, hearing this, was overjoyed. "Really? Where is Hannah now?"

"Country H!"

Patricia wanted to ask more, but Charles was in a hurry and had no time to explain. He pulled Randy and left directly.

"It's too complicated to explain now. We'll tell you everything when we get back." Saying this, they disappeared from Patricia and Fannie's sight.

Patricia thought she was dreaming and pinched Fannie hard.

Fannie yelped in pain. Patricia said, "It's not a dream. It's real! They really found Hannah! Charles is finally back to his old self."

Fannie said speechlessly, "If you want to pinch, pinch yourself. Why pinch me?"

Patricia didn't respond and immediately pulled Fannie to chase after Charles, wanting to go with them.

Unfortunately, Charles and Randy were too fast. Once they reached the airport, they didn't stop and boarded the plane directly.

On the plane, Randy sent a message to Martin: [We've boarded. We'll arrive in Country H in ten hours! If you find Hannah, let her rest! As for the person who took her, detain them first and wait for Charles to decide.]

Martin's message came back quickly. [Ryan and I have arrived in First Mountain City and will soon reach the neighborhood where Hannah is staying! The police have already surrounded the neighborhood. They can't escape.]

Randy: [Got it! Stay safe!]

After sending the message, Randy exited the chat and put his phone back in his pocket. He then relayed Martin's message to Charles.

"Tell Dad to stay safe! I still can't find any information on that person. She might harm him." Charles had been focused on his laptop and hadn't noticed Randy and Martin's conversation.

"I told him!"

"Good!"

After speaking, Charles's attention returned to his laptop.

Until the last second before the plane took off, he was still checking the surveillance around the neighborhood to see if the person had taken Hannah and escaped again.
