Chapter 1257 Randy, Do You Miss Me?
After a round of games, everyone had a bit of flour on their faces.
To keep the game going smoothly, Randy asked everyone to go to the bathroom and wash their faces clean of flour before coming back out.
Everyone followed his instructions and went to the bathroom one by one to wash their faces clean.
Randy said, "Listen to me, when you pour flour onto the poker cards, make sure not to breathe. If you hold your breath, even if the flour spills, it won't spray onto your face! As long as there's no flour on your face, you can hold back your laughter.
If you accidentally get flour on your face, close your eyes and don't look at each other's faces. If you really can't hold back your laughter, think about all the sad things that have happened in your life.
If you don't have any sad things to think about, pinch yourself hard. There's always a way to hold back your laughter!
When the person in front pours flour onto the poker card of the person behind, the person behind should squat down as much as possible to avoid making the person in front stand on tiptoe. This way, holding your breath will be easier!
Today is a once-in-a-lifetime event for Charles. Since the ladies want to play, we'll accompany them to the end and make sure they have fun.
We can't let them say we can't handle the game.
It's almost eleven o'clock now, and we don't have much time left! We can't delay any longer! Got it?"
With someone taking charge, the groomsmen's morale instantly soared.
"Listen to Randy."
"Okay, we'll follow your lead!"
"Let's start, we can't laugh this time! The wedding is about to start!"
"Come on, let's reorder. I'll stand first, Rodolfo will stand second, Walter will stand third, Francis will stand second to last, and Charles will stand last.
I'll demonstrate first, watch me closely, and follow my lead!" Randy quickly arranged the positions.
After arranging everyone in line, he stood in front of Rodolfo.
Stella walked up to him, mischievously rolling her eyes, and said with a smile, "Randy, are you ready?"
Randy took a deep breath. "Let's start! I'm ready!"
Stella grabbed a handful of flour from the bag.
The height difference between them was significant.
To avoid making her stand on tiptoe uncomfortably, Randy deliberately squatted down so she could place the flour on his poker card without standing on tiptoe.
After receiving the flour, he turned around and held his breath.
Rodolfo, standing behind him, instinctively squatted down.
Randy held his breath and poured the flour onto Rodolfo's poker card.
A bit of flour spilled, but it didn't spray onto Rodolfo's face.
Rodolfo bit the poker card, staring at the flour on it, slowly stood up, and then slowly turned around.
Walter, standing behind him, immediately followed suit and squatted down.
The second flour transfer was successful.
Just like before, except for a bit of spilled flour, it didn't spray onto Walter's face.
The people behind followed the same method, slowly transferring the flour to Francis's poker card.
Randy walked over, his breathing tense, and when he saw someone nearby preparing to speak, he immediately made a gesture to silence them.
Everyone held their breath, nervously watching Charles squat down, and then Francis poured the flour from his poker card onto Charles's poker card.
Charles bit the poker card, slowly stood up, and then reached out to take the card down.
Only then did he dare to take a deep breath. "How was it? Did we complete it? There's still three-quarters of the flour left! Much more than you asked for."
Stella looked at the remaining flour on the poker card and, under their hopeful gazes, finally showed mercy and let them go.
"Forget it, you've taken the gift, and you've played the game I set up! You've shown me respect! Since that's the case, I won't make things difficult for you anymore!" As she spoke, Stella lifted the wedding dress that was draped over Hannah on the bed and took out a pair of red wedge sandals from underneath.
Charles, Randy, and the other groomsmen were all shocked.
Francis couldn't hold back any longer and exclaimed, "Damn, you hid them here! We searched the entire room and never thought you'd hide them here!"
Stella proudly raised her chin, "Of course! Did you think I was stupid enough to let you find them so easily?"
She had carefully chosen this hiding spot.
She was certain the groomsmen wouldn't find it.
Even if they guessed it, they definitely wouldn't dare to look there.
Francis gritted his teeth in frustration, "Stella, you're ruthless! When you get married, I'll make sure it's unforgettable for you."
Stella retorted sharply, "I'm not planning to invite you to my wedding, so how will you make it unforgettable for me?"
Francis was left speechless.
With limited time, Stella stopped teasing him and handed the shoes to Charles, "Get down on one knee and personally put these on Hannah! It symbolizes that you'll walk the rest of the way with her."
Charles obediently took the shoes and got down on one knee.
Hannah's cheeks turned red as she shyly extended her feet.
Charles gently put the shoes on her.
"Honey, let's go get married!" Having successfully welcomed the bride, Charles bent down, picked Hannah up in his arms, and walked out with a beaming smile.
Dozens of luxury cars worth millions of dollars were parked at the entrance of Rose Garden Manor.
In the lead car sat bridesmaid Stella and groomsman Randy.
Charles and Hannah sat in the second car.
The rest of the guests sat wherever they liked.
The wedding venue was at a resort.
It was a full forty-minute drive from Rose Garden Manor.
They picked up Hannah and left Rose Garden Manor right at eleven o'clock! They arrived at the wedding venue at eleven forty.
Sitting in the wedding car, Stella thought about how she had just played the groomsmen for fools and found it amusing.
"It's all because of you. If it weren't for you, it wouldn't have been so easy to pass!" Stella pouted.
Randy looked at her indulgently, his eyes so tender they seemed to be dripping with affection. "That's enough! Today is Charles's wedding. You went too far. Aren't you afraid Charles will settle the score later?"
Stella pouted indifferently. "I'm not afraid! I have Hannah to back me up! If he dares to bully me, I'll complain to Hannah and have her stand up for me."
Randy couldn't do anything about her. He couldn't bear to scold her or get angry, so he lightly tapped her forehead. "You! Sometimes, I really don't know what to do with you."
His affectionate gesture made Stella's breath catch.
"Randy, have you missed me these past two days?" Stella asked.
Randy didn't expect her to ask such a question, and his nerves suddenly tightened like a drawn bowstring.
How was he supposed to answer such a question?
If he said he didn't miss her, Stella would definitely get angry.
If he told her he missed her a lot, that every time he finished his work and had a moment of quiet, his mind was filled with thoughts of her.
What would she think?
Normal cousins wouldn't feel this way.
This kind of feeling was inherently wrong; it was abnormal.
He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't control it. He could only watch himself fall deeper and deeper, fully aware of what was happening.
