Chapter 105 Fannie is My Daughter
Patricia and Charles were both shocked and stood up at the same time.
Randy didn't understand the situation, but he immediately greeted Martin happily and hugged his leg, asking excitedly his leg, saying excitedly, "Daddy, why have you come?"
Martin gently rubbed his head, walked into the room with wide strides, and closed the door behind him.
Patricia and Charles's expressions changed simultaneously, a fleeting glimpse of guilt in their eyes. Martin noticed their changes and chuckled softly, his voice cold and chilling.
"What is your relationship with her? Why did you hide it from me?"
Then, he noticed something and searched between Patricia and Fannie with his eagle-like gaze. The more he looked, the more his expression darkened with shock, filled with shock.
"Patricia, what is your relationship with her? Why do you look so much alike?"
They looked exactly like mother and daughter.
"We...we..." Patricia felt guilty and didn't know how to answer.
Charles subtly gestured to Jade with his eyes.
Jade, understanding the cue, pulled Fannie into her arms and declared, "She is my illegitimate daughter and Patricia's goddaughter"
Martin furrowed his brows, pursed his thin lips, and his cold face instantly filled with anger.
"Jade, do you think I'm a fool? Do you think I don't know if you have an illegitimate daughter? Or should I personally investigate and bring the evidence to you?"
Jade became uneasy under his interrogation.
But for Patricia's sake, she had to stand tall and pretended to be righteously indignant, "I've already said she's my illegitimate daughter. Of course, no one knows about it."
Martin smirked and raised an eyebrow, "Is that so? Do you think if I really investigate, I won't find out?"
As he spoke, he took out his phone and called Alan.
"Investigate Jade's whereabouts for the past five years. Remember, every single day, including who she knows, what she has done, whether she has had children..."
"....??" Jade was furious, "Do you want to investigate the underwear I bought as well?"
Martin responded to her remark, "And also check her spending records; including whether she has bought any underwear and to examine those records thoroughly."
"......??"
"......? You're such a pervert."
Martin didn't hang up the phone, his sharp gaze fixed on Jade. "Are you going to tell or not?"
Jade felt cornered, with no way out, but she refused to betray Patricia for her own sake.
Patricia didn't want Jade to lose her privacy because of her. She was about to speak when Fannie took action first.
"You jerk, I hate you..." She grabbed his arm and bit down hard, releasing all the grievances she and Mommy and Charles had suffered over the years.
Soon, a strong bloody taste filled her mouth. She continued to bite and wouldn't let go.
Martin almost had a piece of his flesh bitten off, and instinctively pulled her away.
However, he accidentally pushed her, causing her to slam the back of her head against the wall with a loud 'bang'..
Fannie's vision went black, and she immediately saw stars.
"Fannie..."
Patricia and Charles both exclaimed and rushed over together.
Patricia lifted her up from the ground and nervously checked on her condition. "Fannie, are you okay? Tell Mommy, do you feel dizzy, nauseous, or want to vomit?"
Her calling Patricia 'Mommy' sent ripples through the calm, like a stone dropped into a still lake.
Martin and Randy were overwhelmed by the sudden revelation, petrified on the spot.
Randy had an incredulous look on his face, unable to believe that Fannie was his own sister.
The sudden truth made Martin's heart tremble, his throat felt incredibly sour. "She, she's my daughter too?"
How many children did Patricia give birth to?
Patricia was not in the mood to deal with them.
Fannie, stunned for a moment, then felt a brief numbness followed by intense pain. She grabbed onto Patricia's clothes tightly, tears of fear streaming down her face.
"Wuwu, Mommy, my head hurts so much, am I going to die?"
Patricia suddenly felt something wet and hot. She opened her palm and saw blood, her face turning pale.
Seeing the blood, Fannie cried even harder.
"I'm bleeding, Mommy, I'm bleeding... Wuwu, it hurts. Should I shave my head? Will I become ugly...?"
Seeing her cry, Charles felt his heart ache and quickly reassured her, "Don't worry, it's just a minor injury. You won't die, and you won't become ugly."
Fannie sobbed, "But it hurts so much, everything goes black in front of my eyes, and suddenly there are so many mommies and you..."
Patricia's heart instantly rose to her throat upon hearing this. "Mommy won't let anything happen to you. Mommy will take you to the hospital now."
After speaking, she glared fiercely at Martin and carried Fannie out of the door.
Charles immediately followed, "Mommy, I'll go with you."
Patricia refused, "No, you stay here. I'll take care of it."
"Don't worry about me! You go back with Jade first, and I'll call you when Fannie is done with her check-up. Trust me, she'll be fine," Patricia reassured.
"But..." Charles still had some concerns.
At that moment, Jade walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Patricia, you go ahead! Leave Charles to me, I'll take him home."
"Thank you!" After expressing gratitude, Patricia didn't want to waste a moment and quickly left with Fannie in her arms.
Martin stared blankly at his right hand, realizing the mistake he made by accidentally pushing Fannie down. It took him a while to regain his senses. By the time he did, Patricia had already disappeared with Fannie at the end of the corridor.
Randy, coming to his senses, gently tugged on Martin's sleeve. "Daddy, will Fannie be okay? Is she really my biological sister? Do I have more than one brother and one sister?"
His words reminded Martin.
Observing Jade preparing to depart with Charles, he immediately blocked her path and sternly inquired, "Is Fannie my daughter?"
The notion of him potentially pushing his own daughter infuriated Jade.
"Biological daughter? Are you even worthy?" Jade sneered.
Martin furrowed his brow. "What do you mean?"
Jade smirked coldly. "Take it literally!"
Martin's frown deepened. "She's not my daughter?"
Mockery glinted in Jade's eyes as she brushed aside Martin, who had halted her, and disdainfully remarked, "You better hope that Fannie stays safe, or Patricia will never forgive you in this lifetime."
Charles, looking at Martin with blame, displayed disappointment on his face. "Daddy, if anything happens to Fannie, I won't forgive you either!"
With those words, he grasped Jade's hand and departed without looking back.
Martin's heart ached as confusion clouded his thoughts.
So, is Fannie really his daughter?
Just as Martin's mind was in turmoil, Randy suddenly grabbed his hand. "Daddy, let's go to the hospital together to check on Fannie! I'm worried about her."
Martin looked at him in astonishment. "You know Fannie?"
Randy nodded vigorously. "We've met a few times!"
Holding Randy's hand, Martin drove towards the hospital, probing for information from him.
"When did you meet Fannie? Did you never know she was Mommy's daughter?"
Randy shook his head. "The first time I met her, Aunt Jade said Fannie was her daughter. She even called me 'Mommy' a few times, and I thought she misspoke."
Martin narrowed his eyes, pressed his lips into a thin cold line, and fell silent.
So, Fannie really is his daughter?
"Have you met her father then?"
Randy shook his head again. "That's private. She didn't tell me voluntarily, so I didn't ask." He paused, diverting the conversation.
Turning, he reproved, "You shouldn't have pushed Fannie, she's so small and you're so strong."
"I didn't mean to! I just wanted to pull her away, but I couldn't control my strength and pushed her out." At this moment, he also felt remorseful.
Randy prayed, "I hope nothing happens to Fannie, I don't want anything to happen to her."
Martin's mind felt like it was exploding with nervousness, panic, and confusion.
He had many doubts waiting to be unraveled by Patricia.
