Chapter 104: Don't Make Her Face Slim, Too Much!

Sophia: "Director, can you send me one of the photos we just took? I want to keep a memento."

Director: "Sure, no problem."

In the next second, he picked the best-looking one and sent it over. Sophia noticed that the photo had been retouched to beautify her appearance!

The Director was willing to make himself look slim in the photo but wouldn't make her face slimmer, how unfair!

A faint smile appeared at the corner of Sophia's mouth, revealing a mischievous and cunning look. Her slender and fair fingers gently tapped on the phone screen.

She opened the STATUS, clicked on edit, selected the photo the Director sent, and then added some text: "Even on a business trip, I can run into the boss. I must be the unluckiest person on Earth."

With such a gloomy text and her unflattering smile in the photo, it could be considered quite accurate.

Then she grouped it so that only Fiona could see and sent it.

Hehe, Fiona, oh Fiona, you better work hard and seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Sophia's good mood returned.

On the other side, Fiona noticed a red dot on the STATUS and instinctively clicked on it to refresh, only to see the post Sophia had made.

"To meet Mr. Lancaster even on a business trip, what kind of luck does Sophia have? Why haven't I ever met him?" Fiona felt jealous, her heart burning with envy.

If only she were the one who encountered Mr. Lancaster during a business trip.

Suddenly, a thought struck Fiona, and she stood up abruptly.

Why couldn't she choose to go on a business trip to d city?

Normally, Fiona would spend a long time thinking of reasons, but now, as if Mr. Lancaster had given her infinite potential, she immediately came up with a reason to go to d city on a business trip.

And she would leave in the afternoon.

...

At the Lancaster family mansion, after taking a nap, Emma was playing in her room while Sam and Ethan continued to assemble robots. Emma wasn't interested in it, and since there was no one to play games with, she wanted to explore the castle-like house.

Last time, they only played outdoors and didn't visit the interior.

When Emma suggested it, Sam agreed immediately.

"I'll be your tour guide." Sam got up from the floor.

Ethan also wanted to have a look.

So Emma set off, starting directly from the second floor since they already knew the layout of the first floor.

"This is my dad's room." Sam stopped talking once they left the room and started using sign language instead. There were many household staff members around, and he was afraid they would overhear.

Ethan and Emma had already been taught how to understand sign language by Sam.

They weren't interested in the bad guy dad's room.

"And this is dad's study."

Ethan was interested in the bad guy dad's study.

The bad guy dad used to be his idol, despite being a bad guy. One couldn't deny the fact that the bad guy dad had a successful career.

So he was quite eager to visit the study.

Sam hesitated a bit. "Dad values his study a lot and doesn't like others entering without his permission."

"Let's go in quietly without letting him know," Emma suggested.

Sam shook his head, "Dad would be furious if he found out."

Dad's anger was terrifying.

"In that case, I'll just take a quick peek at the door," Ethan didn't want to make things difficult for Sam.

"Alright."

Sam opened the door, and Ethan took a glance from the doorway. The furnishings inside revealed the owner's stability and meticulousness. The space was large, everything was neatly arranged and clean. There was a stack of tall documents on the desk, nothing seemed particularly remarkable.

Emma continued to explore the next room.

"This used to be my mommy's room," Sam said, noticeably downcast when speaking about his own mother.

"Why is it locked?" Emma was curious to see where Sam's mother used to live.

Ethan also wanted to see.

Sam replied, "I don't know, I've never been inside."

Ethan had a question, "Have you seen a picture of your mommy?"

Sam shook his head.

Indeed, otherwise Sam would definitely recognize his own mother.

The godfather had said that although Sam's mommy was different now, her appearance hadn't changed much.

This room was forbidden for the Lancaster family; no one was allowed to enter.

"Hey, whose room is this?" Emma saw a sign hanging by the door with the word "Princess" on it.

"This is the room my great-grandmother prepared for my little sister."

"You have a sister too?" Ethan and Emma were shocked.

No wonder Emma was given a princess dress last time.

Sam explained, "Don't misunderstand, my sister is already dead."

Emma: ...

She wasn't dead, she was fine, and she was his older sister, not younger!

"I also have a brother. Great-grandmother said they all went to accompany my mommy, and I was lucky to stay by Dad's side, becoming Dad's little angel."

Sam now had someone to share all the things buried in his heart; he no longer hid his inner sadness.

"Do you also want to go and accompany your mommy?" Emma asked softly.

Sam nodded.

He had thought about it countless times.

"You can't, mommy left you because she loved you the most. The place she went to is very difficult and she didn't want you to suffer there too," Emma comforted with great tact.

Sam smiled, indicating that he had already come to terms with it.

When the room was opened, Emma exclaimed in excitement at the sight of pink everywhere, spinning around the room.

This was the room that great-grandmother had prepared for her, so beautiful.

She really wanted to sleep on this soft princess bed, wear these pretty princess dresses, and play with the beautiful dolls.

This room was exactly like Emma's dream room.

When it was time to leave, Emma was reluctant, looking at those dolls. She wanted to touch them but hesitated, as mommy had taught them not to touch things in other people's houses.

In another room, it was completely a boy's room with a blue theme, which suited Ethan's taste.

Ethan also liked it, and the toys inside were exactly the same as Sam's.

After visiting the room, Ethan and Emma understood in their hearts that in this family, Great Grandma loved them the most.

Unfortunately, they couldn't recognize Great Grandma, so they could only come and accompany her more in the future.

Going upstairs, there is a library with over ten thousand books, as well as Scarlett's entertainment room, where they can sing songs, watch movies, and even a gym. Looking out the window, there is a large outdoor swimming pool behind the villa.

Emma proposed on the spot, and the three cuties started singing nursery rhymes in Scarlett's room.

Of course, Emma is a karaoke enthusiast, and Sam and Ethan's ears were forced to suffer.

When Madam woke up from her nap and heard the noise of the three little ones upstairs, she couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.

Ethan and Emma were having so much fun here that they almost forgot to go home.

Around five o'clock, Ethan and Emma held hands and bid farewell to Great Grandma.

"Good children, Great Grandma wants to recognize you as her grandchildren, would you like that?" Madam looked kindly at the two children, but suddenly felt nervous after saying it out loud.

She was afraid that the two children wouldn't be pleased.

Ethan and Emma exchanged a glance and saw surprise in each other's eyes.
