Chapter 32 Disgusting Tiffany

Sophia casually flipped through the contract, her brows furrowing.

"I never sign unequal treaties," Sophia said, tossing the contract back.

Gabriel was infuriated by her action. No one had ever dared to throw things at him.

He gritted his teeth and said, "In that case, you can forget about ever seeing Sam."

The office was large, clean, and simple. Gabriel had a cleanliness obsession, and his office was not allowed to have a speck of dust. The cleaning staff had to clean it three times a day, and everything was neatly arranged.

Sophia's gaze fell on a potted plant on the desk not far away.

Gabriel didn't like having potted plants on his desk. She had once planted a pot of greenery and placed it on his study desk, only for him to have the servants throw it away the next day.

She figured this time it must have been Tiffany who put it there.

Gabriel irritably took a big gulp of coffee.

Sophia's lips moved slowly, and she said, "I demand to see Sam twice a week, and the fourth and seventh clauses of the contract must be deleted."

Gabriel coldly replied, "I can only agree to you seeing Sam twice a month. The contract stays as it is."

Sophia raised her voice, "The contract can stay, but I demand to see Sam four times a month. That's my bottom line."

"Twice," Gabriel said, refusing to budge.

Sophia lowered her head, looking at the contract. She wanted to punch Gabriel, even kill him!

But she reminded herself that murder was illegal, and she couldn't act impulsively.

Taking a deep breath, Sophia said, "I must see Sam four times a month! If you don't agree, I have other ways to see him. You can't hide him forever!" After saying this, she saw that Gabriel remained unmoved, showing no signs of relenting, so she got up to leave.

If it weren't to avoid trouble, she wouldn't waste time with Gabriel.

She knew that going against Gabriel was like hitting a stone with an egg, but she wasn't afraid. For Sam, she could endure anything and fear nothing.

As she reached the door, Gabriel's cold voice came from behind, "If you can boost Flora's sales to a new high, I won't stop you from seeing Sam as often as you want."

Sophia stopped in her tracks, tempted.

"I want to see Sam this weekend," Sophia turned around, her gaze cold and silent.

"Fine," Gabriel agreed surprisingly easily.

"Give me a pen, I'll sign," Sophia walked back and extended her hand.

Gabriel got up, went to the desk, and handed her a pen. Watching her swiftly sign the document, his lips curled into a satisfied and cunning smile.

As Sophia looked up, Gabriel's smile quickly vanished.

Gabriel warned in a deep voice, "Remember, until Sam fully accepts you, you can't tell him your identity. If his condition worsens, I'll make sure you never see him again."

Sophia glared at him defiantly, "I'm his mother. I know what's best for him. And stop threatening me. You'd better keep your Tiffany in check, or I won't let her off!"

With that, Sophia took her copy of the contract and left without looking back.

As she reached the door, Gabriel reminded her, "Don't forget to report to the company tomorrow!"

Sophia didn't respond and walked out the door.

In her heart, Sophia was troubled. The last place she wanted to be was Lancaster Group, but in the end, she had to work there.

Sophia carefully considered her plan to fight for custody of Sam.

On one hand, having a strong position and working in Lancaster would provide her with many resources that could further her career and education.

On the other hand, emotions were also important.

Sam was not familiar with her, and if the judge were to ask Sam about their relationship, what would he say?

Looking at Gabriel's previous attempts to hinder their bond, it would be difficult for her to develop a mother-son relationship with Sam.

But now, with this contract, she would at least be able to see Sam twice a month. And once she established her brand, she would be able to see Sam whenever she wanted and cultivate their mother-son bond.

By then, she would have matured both personally and professionally, and Sam would also have developed strong emotions towards her, increasing the chances of her successfully gaining custody.

Sophia glanced at the contract again and was surprised to find that Gabriel was quite generous, offering benefits and compensation three times higher than the previous two companies.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn't hear someone calling her until she was pulled back by someone, causing her to instinctively shake off the person.

Tiffany stumbled for a moment after being pushed away, and this scene was captured by a nearby bystander.

"Miss Kelly, I just wanted to say hi to you. Was it necessary to push me away like that?" Tiffany feigned fear, appearing soft and weak as if she had been struck by Sophia.

"Oh, I didn't hear you. What do you want?" Sophia glanced at her expressionlessly, pretending as if her previous actions never happened.

Being cordial towards Tiffany was something she couldn't do.

Tiffany seethed with anger. She received news that Sophia had arrived in Lancaster, so she rushed over immediately.

If Sophia had been stopped outside Lancaster, she could have enjoyed watching Sophia's embarrassment.

But Sophia was actually brought inside by Alex, which meant that Gabriel had seen her! What other reason could there be for them to meet?

Tiffany was full of hatred, but she had to maintain a peaceful and elegant façade on the surface.

She maintained what she believed to be a perfect smile and said, "I came to find Gabriel. When I saw you coming out of the elevator, I wanted to say hello, but I didn't expect you to leave so quickly."

Sophia lightly chuckled without any emotions, "Oh, I have something to do. I'll be going now."

"Wait." Tiffany stopped her.

"Do you have something else to say?" Sophia looked at her with a hint of impatience.

Tiffany was a frequent visitor to Lancaster.

Everyone in the company knew her, and no one dared to be rude to her.

Seeing that Sophia didn't give her a friendly face, the receptionists were shocked, confirming their speculations.

"Does Miss Kelly have any business in Lancaster today?"

Tiffany stopped her twice just to ask this?

Well, then she didn't mind giving her a direct response.

Sophia waved the contract in her hand, "Your Gabriel went to great lengths to hire me at Lancaster..."

"Well, the benefits are pretty good, so I'm planning to come to work tomorrow," Aster said.

"What?" Tiffany couldn't believe it. She grabbed Sophia's contract and when she saw Gabriel's signature, her face turned pale.

Sophia snatched the contract back.

"I need to go and prepare. Goodbye, Miss Foster," she said with a smile, waving her hand and walking away swiftly.

If possible, in the future she wanted to disgust Tiffany every day, making her sick of her.

Tiffany stood there for a while, realizing the strange looks around her. She gave those people a cold glance and walked towards the elevator.

As soon as she left, the reception area erupted.

"Did you guys hear clearly?"

One person shook their head, saying, "We were too far away to hear what they were saying, but based on their expressions, Miss Foster seems to be at a disadvantage."

"I can't stand Miss Foster's pretentiousness. It was satisfying to see her lose today."

"You better not let anyone with ill intentions hear you and spread it to Miss Foster, or you can forget about your job."

The person stuck out their tongue, looking scared as they glanced around.

Tiffany, feeling anxious, hurried to the general manager's office. She rarely lost control like this, barging into Gabriel's office directly.

"Why did you let Sophia join Lancaster?" she questioned as soon as she entered.

Gabriel's eyebrows furrowed immediately, giving her a displeased look.

He didn't like being questioned, even by Tiffany. None of his decisions were made without careful consideration, and he never allowed anyone to question them.

Tiffany felt extremely wronged. She didn't want to question him either, but what was Sophia's identity? She was her boyfriend's ex-wife. By hiring her, was Gabriel planning to maintain a connection with Sophia?

Then what was she supposed to do? She had waited so many years, only a step away from becoming Mrs. Lancaster.

As she thought about it, her eyes turned red, and tears fell from her crystal-clear eyes, sliding down her fair face, making her look pitiful.

Alex couldn't bear it anymore and couldn't help but explain for his boss, "Boss hired Miss Kelly because he saw her design abilities.

Her style is very suitable for our fashion show.

Director Li also strongly recommended Miss Kelly. Boss is only thinking about the company's development. Miss Foster, please understand."

Tiffany bit her lower lip and looked pitifully at Gabriel. "Is that true?"

Gabriel calmly said, "When have I ever made a losing deal?"

Tiffany instantly went from tears to a smile. She walked over and hugged Gabriel's arm, speaking softly and acting spoiled, "I thought you still had feelings for her."

Gabriel didn't respond, he only looked at her deeply.

Tiffany said, "I was wrong. I...

"Should I trust you? I'm sorry, let's have dinner together tonight."

"Mm."

Gabriel still had work to do, and Tiffany didn't dare to cling to him all the time, so she obediently played with her phone while waiting for him to finish work.

Although she often came to Lancaster Group, she couldn't get involved in the company's affairs, let alone influence Gabriel's decisions.

When Gabriel finished work, there was a call from the old mansion again.

"You go back and have dinner by yourself tonight, I'll have Alex take you."

Upon hearing Gabriel's words, Tiffany felt extreme disgust towards the people in the old mansion and asked anxiously, "What happened?"

"Sam didn't eat dinner tonight, I'm going back to check on him."

"I'll come with you."

"No need."

Tiffany stood there, feeling aggrieved.

Gabriel felt a little helpless. His grandmother had deep biases against Tiffany, and bringing her back would only make her feel more aggrieved.

"The black diamond necklace that you liked last time, I've already asked Alex to negotiate. It should have a result the day after tomorrow."

When Tiffany heard this, she immediately smiled, all her grievances disappearing. She kindly said, "You just know how to appease me with gifts. But I do fall for it. Anyway, I won't go with you, so as not to anger Grandma and harm her health."

Gabriel looked at her, wanting to say something but hesitating. To be honest, he felt quite guilty towards Tiffany.

He should have given her a wedding a long time ago, but due to various factors, it has been repeatedly delayed, causing her great distress. Therefore, in terms of material possessions, he would do his best to give her the best.

Before leaving, Gabriel remembered something.

"By the way, don't prevent Sophia from seeing Sam in the future."
