Chapter 82 Meeting Grandma

Sophia gently stroked the heads of the two "little lions" to reassure them.

"Don't worry, mommy has taken care of the bad people, and they have been punished too."

Ethan and Emma hugged mommy from either side.

"I wish I could grow up quickly so I can protect mommy," Emma said in a slightly pouting tone.

Ethan agreed.

Sophia felt warm and comforted in her heart.

"Mommy will make delicious food for you. Eat more, sleep early, and wake up early, so you can grow up quickly."

"Mommy is spoiling the kids again," Emma teased.

"You are still kids," Sophia replied.

Ethan and Emma pouted in dissatisfaction.

She really wished that Sam could join them in being spoiled by mommy.

Gabriel was driving back when he received a call from Harrison.

"Darn it, Gabriel, I apologize to you this time. I never expected those two women to actually go find Sophia and fight with her."

Gabriel corrected him, "You should apologize to Sophia."

"Oh, right, I forgot you two are no longer together. I'll personally apologize to her tomorrow."

Harrison was a player, but he knew when to be serious, and he would never touch someone he shouldn't.

"Rumors about you and Sophia are spreading in the company today. Be careful," Gabriel reminded him.

It didn't matter who he spread rumors with, as long as it wasn't with Sophia.

"Tsk, Gabriel, are you jealous?" Harrison suddenly became unserious again.

Gabriel was warning him not to provoke Sophia.

Gabriel's face darkened, "Do you think I would have any face left if rumors of my brother being with my ex-wife spread?"

Harrison clicked his tongue a few times, "I understand, don't worry. I'll take care of the rumors and make sure you don't lose face, and Sophia's reputation won't be harmed either."

He didn't believe for a second that Gabriel's concern was purely about face.

This guy was just being stubborn.

Clearly, he was thinking about Sophia's well-being, but he refused to admit it.

By the way, Gabriel learned from those two women that they came to confront him after hearing about his new relationship at the company.

Initially, it was just workplace gossip.

How did it spread outside?

And by some strange coincidence, it reached the ears of these two troublesome women.

No matter how he thought about it, it seemed intentional.

If he didn't thoroughly investigate this matter, Gabriel feared he would have to send him to the desert to plant trees.

...

On the weekend, Sophia personally sent the two darlings to their classmate's house.

They didn't dare let mommy know they were going to the Lancaster family estate.

So, the two little ones found a classmate at the kindergarten who could help them.

Sophia dropped them off at their classmate's house.

Looking at the adorable little girl, Sophia smiled warmly.

"Are your mom and dad not at home?"

The little girl obediently replied, "They are at work. I'm here with my sister."

"Take care and don't fight. If anything happens, call me," Sophia reminded her son and daughter before leaving with peace of mind.

She had met the parents of this little girl before and they seemed nice, so she felt reassured.

Besides, Ethan and Emma were clever and wouldn't be easily bullied.

Not long after Sophia left, Ethan and Emma came out of their classmate's house, each carrying their own teddy bear backpacks.

After walking a few hundred meters, they spotted Sam's car.

Sam had arranged to pick them up here.

Upon seeing the duo, a hint of happiness appeared on Sam's originally stern face.

"I brought some cookies my mommy made for you," Emma took out a box of homemade cookies from her teddy bear backpack.

Sam tasted a small piece.

"Is it tasty?" Emma looked at him expectantly.

Sam nodded in agreement, then took another small piece.

"Next time, I'll bring you other snacks my mommy makes."

Sam gestured, "Your mommy is so talented."

Emma proudly said, "Of course, my mommy is Superwoman. She can do anything."

Ethan casually picked up Sam's iPad and started playing with it.

They were a bit nervous about meeting their great-grandmother.

Apart from their mommy, they had never seen any other relatives. Their mommy had never told them about their other family members or had contact with any relatives.

"Is your dad at home?" Ethan remembered, realizing that if their horrible dad happened to be home, he and Emma would be trapped.

Sam shook his head, "Dad went out to work and won't be back until evening."

Lately, their dad had been coming home every evening to spend time with him and their great-grandmother, and her smiling face had become more frequent.

It was Sam's first-time inviting friends to his house, and he felt a bit nervous, afraid that Ethan and Emma wouldn't like his home.

The car slowly entered the estate, and Emma widened her eyes, curious about what she saw outside the car window.

They had seen many estates with their mommy in M country, but they had never seen one as big and beautiful as this private estate.

"Is all of this yours?" Emma asked in astonishment.

Sam nodded.

Wow, their horrible dad was really rich.

Ethan wasn't so amazed.

He had known for a long time that their horrible dad was the richest person in the country, so it wasn't surprising to have such a big private estate.

But he felt sorry for their mommy. She hadn't been able to enjoy such a nice estate.

Sam gestured and introduced the estate to Ethan and Emma.

He even asked the driver, David, to drive slower.

"That's the vegetable garden. We grow all the vegetables there."

"That's the orchard. We can go pick oranges later."

"That's a river where we can go fishing."

"That's..."

Sam felt that he couldn't gesture all of it and thought it would be better to take them on a tour in a sightseeing car.

Emma was energetic and wanted to play in every place Sam introduced.

However, she knew they wouldn't be able to visit everything today, and after today, she and Ethan wouldn't come here again.

She felt a slight pang of sadness.

A tinge of regret lingered as the car approached the villa, slowly fading away.

The servants waited outside with Madam.

Emma and Ethan caught a glimpse of the white-haired Madam from a distance, feeling a peculiar sense of familiarity.

The palms of the two little ones became slightly sweaty.

"Is that Grandma?" Emma couldn't help but mutter.

Sam nodded but couldn't make out anything else.

The car halted, and a servant approached to open the door.

Mrs. Lancaster caught sight of the three adorable little ones in the car and was momentarily stunned.
Apart from Sam, whom she knew well, the other two were cute and handsome, evoking a feeling of extreme familiarity, as if she had seen them somewhere before.

"Hello, Grandma," Emma said sweetly as the servant helped her out of the car.

Mrs. Lancaster felt a soft spot in her heart being gently tapped, and she excitedly beckoned them over.

"Good children, come and let Grandma have a look."

Emma obediently walked over.

Mrs. Lancaster squinted, wanting to take a closer look at this child.

The small nose, tiny lips, and lovely little face were irresistibly adorable.

The spark in her eyes revealed a hint of cleverness, making her a mischievous little princess.
