Chapter 745 Romantic Restaurant

Gabriel was waiting outside the factory. Sophia was almost done with her work and handed the rest over to her assistant.

"Gabriel."

Gabriel was a bit displeased by her calling.

Sophia didn't notice and walked over with a bright smile, linking her arm with his.

"Why did you suddenly say you missed me today?"

As she got closer, Gabriel's displeasure instantly vanished.

He opened the passenger door, helped Sophia into the car, and then got into the driver's seat.

"Where are we having dinner tonight?" Sophia asked again.

He hadn't answered her previous question.

Gabriel saw the address Alex had sent and directly started the navigation.

"You'll know when we get there." He didn't answer her directly.

Sophia yawned.

"I'll take a nap. Wake me when we arrive."

"Okay."

Sophia had been busy with the charity foundation lately, so she slept even later than him every day.

It seemed she was the workaholic.

While waiting at a red light, Gabriel took off his jacket and covered her with it.

In a half-asleep state, Sophia instinctively hugged his jacket.

The car was warm, and Sophia's cheeks were red while sleeping, looking like two red apples, tempting Gabriel to take a bite.

His Adam's apple bobbed, and the sound of honking brought him back to reality. He suppressed his thoughts.

He realized he was becoming increasingly unable to resist Sophia.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the restaurant.

Gabriel was a bit reluctant to wake Sophia, but she woke up on her own.

She rubbed her eyes.

"Are we there?"

"Yes."

Sophia returned the jacket to Gabriel and tidied herself up a bit.

"Romantic Restaurant?"

The name of the restaurant was too simple, and the decorations were a bit odd.

Sophia and Gabriel walked hand in hand.

The waiter greeted them warmly.

Gabriel gave a name, and the waiter's eyes lit up.

"Please follow me."

The waiter led them to the second floor, to a private room in the far corner.

Along the way, Sophia looked at the restaurant's decorations, feeling increasingly strange.

This restaurant didn't quite look like a restaurant.

The lighting was so dim that you couldn't see the food clearly.

The music was so suggestive.

There wasn't a single person in the hall, and a few paintings of a man and a woman gazing at each other was hung on the walls.

The door to the private room was slightly open.

The waiter made an inviting gesture.

"Please come in."

Gabriel led Sophia inside.

When they saw the situation inside, they both stopped at the same time.

Waiter said, "Have a wonderful evening."

With that, the waiter closed the door.

"Gabriel, you... you brought me to a place like this for dinner?"

Sophia was shocked and stammered.

The private room was bathed in pink light, with many photos of a man and a woman in various intimate poses hanging on the walls. There was a table in front of them with delicious food and a beautifully wrapped gift box.

There was even a large bed not far away!

A bed in a restaurant's private room!

Oh my, this was clearly not a proper restaurant.

Who knew Gabriel had such a hidden side!

Gabriel felt a bit embarrassed and angry.

Alex!

He asked him to book a romantic restaurant, and this was what he got?

This was over-the-top romantic!

Under Sophia's incredulous gaze, Gabriel's ears turned red, but the dim lighting hid it from her.

Since they were already here, they couldn't miss the opportunity.

Gabriel pulled her inside.

"I heard the food here is quite good." He lied with a straight face.

The food on the table was almost cold and didn't look appetizing.

The focus of tonight's meal wasn't the food on the table but her.

Sophia's heart pounded.

Gabriel really knew how to play.

But she was genuinely hungry, so she had to eat something even if the food wasn't good.

"What's this?" Sophia curiously opened the beautifully wrapped gift box.

As soon as she opened it, she was stunned.

Gabriel leaned over and asked, "What is it?"

Sophia quickly closed the box.

"Nothing, let's eat."

The more Sophia tried to hide it, the more Gabriel wanted to know what was inside.

"Let me see." He quickly opened the box and then smiled meaningfully.

Inside was a particularly sexy outfit.

Sophia's cheeks burned.

Gabriel looked at her deeply, and after a moment of silence, he spoke hoarsely.

"Darling, let's try it here."

Sophia looked up and met his beautiful eyes, filled with familiar desire. His jawline was smooth and elegant, and even the movement of his Adam's apple was enticing.

Sophia swallowed and, almost involuntarily, nodded.

Tonight was thrilling!

In the heat of the moment, Gabriel made Sophia call him "darling" over and over again.

Sophia, unable to bear it, clawed at his back.

"Darling, darling, darling, is that enough?"

Gabriel said, "Not enough. From now on, you have to call me that every time you see me."

"I don't like it when you call me by my name."

Sometimes she called him by his name out of habit. Sophia nodded randomly and then wrapped her arms around his neck.

Gabriel gently kissed her lips.

"Darling, I love you."

Sophia's lips curved into a smile.

"Darling, I love you too."

City B welcomed a new year once again. The Lancaster family and the Blackwood family celebrated New Year's together this year as well, this time at the Blackwood Manor.

The two families together made for a lively and joyful occasion.

Caroline was also celebrating at the Wolf Mansion.

Somehow, Nicholas naturally stayed at the Wolf Mansion as well.

Yesterday, Linda had given the servants and chefs a holiday.

The Wolf family's New Year's Eve dinner was always prepared by Daniel. Linda wasn't very good at cooking; she could make some soups, but not much else.

They didn't like ordering dinner from outside restaurants, so Daniel cooked dinner.

This year, they had found their biological daughter Caroline. Although Caroline could cook, Daniel and Linda couldn't bear to let Caroline cook a whole meal.

"Today, you, your mom, and Josie just relax. I'll handle the cooking." Daniel drove them into the living room and turned on the TV for them.

Then Daniel said sternly, "You don't need to help. Just watch TV quietly."

Caroline and Josie blinked, while Linda looked accustomed to this routine.

After Daniel went into the kitchen, Nicholas quietly followed him.

As for Clayton, he was busy all day.

The sight of Daniel and Nicholas busy in the kitchen suddenly gave a sense of peace and tranquility.

Daniel was in charge, and Nicholas helped with the prep work. Sometimes, when Daniel was too busy, Nicholas would help stir-fry a bit.

"Paul, don't worry. I guarantee tonight will be a success."

Clayton came in from outside.

"Enough talking, I'm home now. Bye."
