Rumors were flying that Fusion Dynamics Corporation was planning to move back to Country M. Headlines and online chatter was buzzing about the move.
Local bigwigs in Country M were constantly setting up meetings with Celeste, and David had been dragged to several dinners. Everyone hoped Fusion Dynamics Corporation wouldn't relocate.
"Mom, this move is a big deal, and the obstacles will only get tougher," David said after dinner.

"The Brown family just wants money."

"After Patricia changes her name and joins the Blackwood family, I want to mentor her."
Was Celeste planning to groom Patricia as the successor to Fusion Dynamics Corporation?

"I have no choice. Josie is still young. She just reunited with me, and she feels very insecure. If I go against Nicholas, it will ultimately hurt Josie."
Adults could handle things their own way, but a child's heart, once hurt, might take a lifetime to heal.
Like Caroline, she didn't know why she became an orphan. As a child, she often wondered if her parents abandoned her because she was a girl or if they had some unavoidable reason for leaving her.

Sophia held Caroline's hand and gently squeezed it.

"How about I have Josie recognize you as her godmother?" Caroline suddenly suggested.
She was the godmother of Ethan, Emma, and Sam, so Josie could also recognize Sophia as her godmother.
"Sure," Sophia agreed happily.

Emma's wish for a sister would be dashed again.
When the four kids got tired of playing and returned to their moms, Caroline had Josie recognize Sophia as her godmother.
Josie liked Emma's mommy very much, so when Caroline asked her to recognize Sophia as her godmother, she naturally accepted.
"Sophia."
"Josie, today was too sudden. Next time, I'll prepare a gift for you." Sophia hugged Josie and fed her a cookie.
"From now on, Josie will be your sister," Sophia told her three kids.
Emma pouted, "I want a little sister."
Josie suddenly becoming an older sister was a bit of an adjustment for her, but she felt a strange sense of responsibility.
"Emma," she said playfully, patting Emma on the shoulder.
"Josie," Emma responded.
The two kids called each other back and forth, happily playing around.
Caroline and Josie had a wonderful day at Sophia's place and only went back after dinner.
When Caroline and Josie returned to Heights Hill Villa, it was already 8:30 P.M., and Nicholas was not back yet.
Molly came over to help push the wheelchair.
"Ms. Clark, Mr. Watson said he won't be back tonight. You should sleep with Josie."
It seemed Nicholas was going to spend the night with Daisy.
Caroline nodded, her expression indifferent. She didn't care whether Nicholas came back or not.
As long as Josie was by her side, she was content.
