Chapter 119 Tugging Tiffany's Hair
Tiffany's expression twisted in anger as she was being ignored by Sophia.
Even though they were already divorced and had no connection, why did they still have so many opportunities to meet? And why did they have a child between them?
The more Tiffany thought about it, the angrier she became. She even wanted to push Sophia again, to push her out.
Sophia's hand holding the medicine bottle was trembling. She suddenly looked up, her eyes bloodshot and sharp, causing Tiffany's actions to freeze.
"Is this the medicine you've been giving Sam?"
Her questioning tone, accompanied by her murderous gaze, made Tiffany's heart race, and she nervously avoided eye contact.
"Sam's condition is serious and requires medication. Moreover, this medicine is prescribed by the most professional doctor. It's the most suitable medication for Sam's treatment..."
Listening to Tiffany's words, Sophia suddenly smiled coldly at her, as if a demon was about to swing a scythe at her. She casually unscrewed the bottle cap and held it in her palm.
"Sophia, what are you doing? These are medicines for Sam to take." Tiffany shouted, trying to stop her.
At that moment, Sophia swiftly grabbed Tiffany's hair and pulled it back. Tiffany was forced to lean back, her mouth opens in anger.
Sophia forcefully stuffed the medicine into her mouth, then closed her jaw and kicked her in the knee pit. Tiffany "thudded" to the ground, experiencing intense pain in her kneecap.
"Ugh..." Tiffany struggled, but Sophia pulled her hair even harder, causing her to refrain from further resistance due to the pain.
"If this medicine tastes so good, why don't you keep it for yourself, instead of giving it to my son!"
Tiffany tried to grab Sophia's hand, but years of living a privileged life made her unable to put up a fight against an infuriated mother.
Sophia's eyes turned bloodshot. She held the medicine bottle and poured it into Tiffany's mouth. Tiffany clenched her mouth shut, so Sophia used her knee to hit her throat. Tiffany gasped for air, and Sophia kept forcefully pouring the medicine.
The commotion in the office couldn't go unnoticed outside. People gathered around, but no one dared to intervene.
Alex was the first to receive the news and rushed over. Seeing the situation, only two words popped into his mind: "Savage!"
It was too brutal!
"Miss Kelly, Miss Foster, please stop..." Alex ran in.
"Get me water!" Sophia commanded with dominance.
Alex didn't know why, but he picked up the glass of water from the table and handed it over.
Sophia took it and poured it into Tiffany's mouth.
Alex: ...
He seemed to have inadvertently "aided and abetted" the situation.
"Stop!" a commanding voice filled with authority rang out, and everyone automatically made way as Gabriel walked in with a stern face.
Alex immediately stepped aside, keeping his eyes on his nose and his nose on his heart. He was relieved that the boss arrived at just the right time.
However, he was still struggling with how to separate these two women. After all, both of them were boss's women, and he couldn't explain if he made a move on either of them.
Oh, wait, one of them is the ex, and the other is the current one.
Sophia had also had enough to drink. When Gabriel came in, she let go of Tiffany, pulling out a handful of hair and disgustingly throwing it on Tiffany, as if she had touched dog poop.
Tiffany was coughing violently on the ground, using her fingers to clear her throat, trying to spit out the swallowed medicine.
Gabriel's brow wrinkled tightly, and he supported Tiffany with a gloomy expression.
"How are you?"
Upon hearing Gabriel's voice, Tiffany buried her head and rushed into his arms.
"Wuwu, Gabriel, Sophia has gone crazy, she's gone crazy!"
"It's alright, it's okay." Gabriel forcefully helped her up, and Tiffany leaned against his chest, sobbing uncontrollably.
She had never been in such a miserable state before, and it was happening in the company, with so many people watching!
Her dignity and face were trampled under Sophia's feet like this.
Her scalp was burning, her knee bones aching, and the suffocating feeling in her throat all made Tiffany want to take revenge on Sophia multiple times.
"Gabriel, you have to help me. I haven't done anything wrong, why does Sophia treat me like this?" Tiffany pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes.
Sophia stood by indifferently, having long been dead-hearted towards Gabriel. Now, seeing Gabriel embracing another woman, comforting her tenderly, she could remain indifferent and even watch coldly.
Gabriel's eyes shot at her with coldness, like a gleaming sword.
"Sophia, you have gone too far this time!"
Does she even know how despicable her actions are? If Tiffany were to sue, Sophia wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
"Have I gone too far?" Sophia seemed to have heard a huge joke. She picked up the bottle from the ground and slowly turned it in her hand, as if reading the words on it, but also recalling some distant memory. Her voice was ethereal, "I have taken this medicine before. I know the side effects are strong. Do you think you are worse off than us? I only gave her a little, and at least she's an adult who can handle it. What about Sam? How much have you given him? Do you even know how deeply he's been poisoned by this medicine?"
She gently lifted her eyelid, staring straight at Gabriel, questioning, "I took this medicine? And did Sam's body ever show any other conditions?"
There were too many key points in Sophia's words, and Gabriel couldn't quite grasp them.
Alex had long since driven away the onlookers outside and closed the door.
"This is the most effective medicine for treatment. Every medicine has its side effects, and some are unavoidable. But the doctor has tried to minimize them. Originally, it should be taken three times a day. Dr. Jiang...
Sam is given a deliberately reduced dosage and frequency of medication. Gabriel is completely unaware of this and blames us for not taking good care of Sam. It's obvious that she wants to take Sam away from us."
It must be said that Tiffany is really good at pinpointing people's weaknesses, especially Gabriel's. When she mentioned that Sophia wants to take Sam away, Gabriel's expression immediately turned uglier.
Sophia was so angry that she threw the medicine bottle at Tiffany.
"You're a psychiatrist too. You know very well about this medication. Gabriel, I'm taking my son home tonight. If you try to stop me, I'll make your life a living hell."
For her son, she could endure anything and do whatever it takes.
Sophia's face turned red with anger, her hair disheveled from the confrontation with Tiffany. But she no longer cared about her appearance. If she didn't let out this anger, she was afraid of falling into depression again.
After saying that, she turned around and walked away, not wanting to see this disgraceful couple together. When she looked down, she noticed the scattered pills on the floor and felt a bit regretful. Tiffany had managed to spit out half of them in her struggle.
Tiffany was so angry that her stomach hurt. She held onto Gabriel's hand tightly.
"Gabriel, did she just leave like that?"
Gabriel's face had already reached its limit of ugliness.
He knew very well that Tiffany wanted him to take action against Sophia, but he couldn't do that.
Sophia found out about Sam taking medication and experiencing side effects. She was angry, not at him, but at his poor care for Sam. He happened to be absent, so Sophia took it out on Tiffany.
In a way, Tiffany endured it on his behalf.
If given the choice, he would rather take these medications himself than let Sam take them.
