Chapter 377 Time to Part Ways
Josie thought seriously for a minute, then said, "I want Daddy and Mommy always to be together, to stay by my side."
This was her heartfelt wish. She didn't want to be a child with only a dad or only a mom.

Sam recovered in kindergarten after resting for a day yesterday. Today, the three kids came to school, and Josie asked a few concerned questions.

Josie said sadly, "My dad and mom might be separating."
"Really?" Emma was a bit excited, but seeing Josie so sad, she tried not to show it.
"Yes, Dad asked me if I wanted to stay with him or Mom."
'Isn't that the kind of question parents ask when they're about to separate?' She thought.
Josie was really sad. Even though Daisy wasn't nice to her, she was still her mom.
"Who will you choose, Daddy or Mommy?" Emma was also curious.
'Josie's mommy isn't her real mommy, so Josie couldn't choose her. Her daddy didn't seem bad, but he didn't protect Josie when Josie was bullied by her mommy, so he isn't a good daddy either,' Emma thought.
Emma found it hard to choose, too. She really wanted Josie and Caroline to know the truth.
But Ethan said they should first let Josie accept Caroline from her heart. Otherwise, Josie might misunderstand and think Caroline didn't want her, which would make Josie even sadder.
Josie thought seriously for another minute and finally made up her mind.
"I choose Daddy!"
Emma wholeheartedly agreed and comforted Josie, "Don't be sad. Your daddy will find you a better mommy, just like Ms. Clark."
Josie was uneasy and asked, "Really?"
"Of course, it's true. You won't have your current mommy, but you'll have Ms. Clark as your mommy."
"Yes, I still have Ms. Clark as my mommy."
Josie didn't feel anything was wrong at all. She even started to imagine the moment Caroline would become her mommy.
After the meeting at the Lancaster Group, Sophia was packing up her things. Everyone else had left, and when she was ready to leave, she noticed Gabriel was still there.
He sat there, looking at her with an unreadable expression.
Sophia frowned slightly.
Gabriel still had a bit of a bruise at the corner of his eye, but it didn't detract from his handsome features.
"What's up?" Sophia asked succinctly.
"Nothing." Gabriel sighed inwardly.
He just wanted to look at her, to see her shine on stage explaining her design, to see her radiate confidence and brilliance.
"Actually, I need to talk to you." Sophia put down her laptop and materials.
At this moment, only Sophia and Gabriel were left in the conference room, and there were few people outside.
Sophia walked to a spot three steps away from Gabriel.

"I've heard from Colin. I tried to communicate with Sam, but he didn't seem to understand. Gabriel, can you tell me the details of what happened back then?"

"What was the name of the bodyguard who found Sam?" Sophia asked.
"Dylan Scott, he's Alex's relative."
"Did he have much contact with Tiffany?"
Gabriel didn't answer immediately. His deep eyes made it hard to see what he was thinking, and the atmosphere suddenly became subtle.
Sophia clenched her hand, bit her lip lightly, and asked him in a heavy tone.
"Gabriel, have you never suspected Tiffany?"

"He didn't have much contact with Tiffany." He answered her previous question.

With Alex's guarantee, Gabriel naturally wouldn't suspect Dylan. Moreover, Dylan had always been diligent and never showed any abnormal behavior, so Gabriel had no reason to suspect him.
"Where was Tiffany at that time?" Sophia continued to ask.
"She was seeing a patient that day."
Sophia turned around.
"I understand. Thank you for telling me so much."

Including the truth about Sophia's difficult labor back then, he would uncover it all!
Sophia responded lightly, holding her laptop and materials as she left the conference room.
She suspected Tiffany the most of intimidating Sam.
Sophia didn't know if Gabriel was covering for Tiffany, but she could follow these clues to investigate.

On the weekend, Emma invited Josie to her house to play and specifically called Caroline over.
Caroline also checked if Emma had been practicing her violin.
This was Josie's first time going to someone else's house to play. Nicholas had something to do, so he sent Sharpe to take Josie over.
"Josie." Emma opened the door and happily hugged Josie.
"Emma, I brought some treats." Josie lifted the bag in her hand.

Caroline was teaching Josie violin, so Sharpe told Nicholas.
Nicholas responded indifferently.
Sharpe suddenly felt like he might be meddling too much.
