Chapter 331 Emma was distraught.
Caroline felt uncomfortable all over her body, but in the end, she couldn't resist Paul's various pleas and gave her five thousand dollars.
The woman left satisfied.
Paul caught up.
"Caroline, if you help me, help me all the way, find me a place to eat and stay."
Caroline was silent, feeling that her moment of weakness had brought trouble upon herself.
She hailed a car and silently got in.
Paul also followed, and Caroline immediately got out of the car, with Paul following suit.
This time, Caroline quickly got back in the car. "Driver, lock the door quickly."

Caroline fell silent.

Caroline stayed in the ward while Paul sat outside leaning against a chair, unable to sleep.

Paul sent Caroline's account details.
The next day, Caroline saw an unexpected fifty thousand dollars in her account, feeling puzzled.
Caroline left the ward, and Paul, with dark circles under his eyes, greeted her with a bright smile.
"Caroline, good morning."
"Good morning."
"I had someone transfer fifty thousand dollars to your account last night. Did you receive it?"
So it was Paul who had it transferred.
Caroline almost thought it was finally her payment for the variety show.
"I received it."
"I'll return the ten thousand dollars from yesterday with interest, leaving you with forty thousand dollars. Caroline, can you help me go to the bank to withdraw cash?"
"Okay, I'm busy right now."
"No rush, Caroline; let me treat you to breakfast."
Paul followed Caroline around like a little tail.
After all that, he learned about the illness in Caroline's family.
Today was Saturday, and Sophia reluctantly packed up the children's things while Gabriel was already waiting downstairs.
Ruth frowned. "Sophia, why don't you come back to live with me?"
Return to The Lancaster family's mansion? Sophia gently shook her head. "I'm already looking for a house."
That place was no longer her home.
Ruth sighed and didn't try to persuade her further.
She didn't know if Gabriel had made proper arrangements.
Betty pushed Ruth into the elevator with David carrying the suitcase, and Sophia led the three children.
The three children clung to Sophia, unwilling to leave.
Sophia patiently comforted them.
"I'll come see you tonight and have dinner with you, okay?"
"But I want to sleep with Mommy." Emma pouted.
Ethan also didn't want to leave Sophia, but he knew that Sophia must have her reasons, so he would support her unconditionally and listen to her.
Sam also felt a bit sad. He wanted Sophia to come home with them.
Downstairs, Gabriel immediately approached them.
He looked at Sophia and the three children with tender eyes.
The three children were reluctant to leave.
Sophia regretted making peace.

As the car door closed, Sophia waved goodbye.
She stood there, tears streaming down her face.
Watching the car slowly disappear from view, Sophia's heartache came in waves.
She vowed to regain custody of the children!
In the car, Gabriel sat in the passenger seat, turning to look at the three children.
"Don't worry; I'll make sure we reunite as a family as soon as possible."
"If you stop Mommy from seeing us again, I'll never talk to you for the rest of my life," Emma said,
"I won't." Gabriel couldn't bear the thought of being ignored by Emma forever
Gabriel's heart was melting.
Ruth also lovingly comforted the children.
Meanwhile, Sophia received a call from the real estate agent to view a house.
She hurried out.
After looking at three houses, she wasn't very satisfied.
Finally, she arrived at a luxurious, high-end community that caught her eye.
But Sophia refused before even entering the community.
"This place looks expensive, I can't afford it. Let's look at other houses."
The agent smiled. "It's okay, let's take a look. The rent for this house is very cheap."
