Chapter 398 Strong Wind and Heavy Rain
Daisy glanced over and saw Sophia waving her hand in front of her nose, looking disgusted.
Sophia grabbed a broom by the door, walked over, and swept it toward Daisy.
"Trash belongs in the trash can."
Caroline burst out laughing.
Daisy was furious. As Sophia swept toward her, she jumped up like a monkey to avoid getting dirty.
"You! You're the trash!"
"I'll give you two choices: either you roll yourself into the trash can, or I'll sweep you into it." Sophia planted the broom on the ground, hands on her hips, looking fierce.
Daisy wanted to hit her, but Sophia was Gabriel's girl, so she couldn't.
She just shot Caroline a fierce glare before turning and leaving.
She had no doubt Sophia would really sweep her out with the broom.
Sophia was still fuming. As soon as Daisy left, she couldn't help but curse.
"That bitch. Don't pay attention to her, and don't take her words to heart. I'm telling you, douchebags and bitches are a perfect match. Let them fight it out themselves; you'll find a better man in the future."
Caroline laughed and pulled her.
"Don't worry. I won't let her words get to me. Sophie, you were so badass just now, like a majestic broom."
"What broom? You're the broom." Sophia laughed, too.
After a while, Sophia pondered.
"I need to get you a couple of bodyguards. What if Daisy comes to harass you again when I'm not around?"
She still remembered the knife Gabriel had found on those security guards.
"No need. I'm in the hospital. They wouldn't dare do anything to me openly. They can only show off with their words."
Sophia sat down, took the food out of the insulated lunch box, and handed it to Caroline.
"By the way, what are your plans next?"
Caroline replied, "I want to raise Josie."
"Will Nicholas let go?"
"I don't know. He's married to Daisy now. They'll have their own kids in the future. If Josie continues to live with the Watson family, she definitely won't be happy."
Sophia sighed inwardly.
'Why are our fates so bitter?'
The next day was the kids' last day at kindergarten. After that, Ethan, Emma, Sam, and Josie would graduate from kindergarten.
The kids were chattering about where they would go for summer vacation, what delicious food they had eaten, and what toys their parents had bought them.
Around eleven o'clock, parents started arriving to pick up their kids.
David also came.
The three little ones walked out of the kindergarten hand in hand.
"Sam."
Hearing someone call Sam, the three kids turned their heads together.
Tiffany walked over joyfully, holding a newly released electric toy car.
"Sam, long time no see. Did you miss me?"
As soon as Ethan and Emma saw Tiffany, the bad woman, they immediately hid Sam behind them.
Emma glared at Tiffany fiercely.
"Tiffany, you want to bully Sam again. I'm telling you, as long as I'm here, I won't let you get close to Sam."
'Emma, that annoying kid!'
Tiffany cursed a couple of times in her heart but kept a smiling face and took out a Barbie doll.
"You must be Emma. I often hear your daddy say you're cute. This is a gift for you."
Since Tiffany couldn't deal with this kid for now, she decided to appease her first.
Emma turned to Ethan and said, "Ethan, she's so shameless."
Emma had already made it clear she hated Tiffany, yet Tiffany was still so shameless.
And Tiffany wanted to give her a Barbie doll!
Ethan spoke up, "David, stop her!"
"Yes, sir!"
David's job was to protect the three kids. His tall frame blocked Tiffany's path.
Ethan took the chance to get Sam and Emma into the car, then hopped in himself.
Emma stuck her tongue out at Tiffany through the window.
"I'm gonna tell my daddy you bullied me and have him punish you."
"You!" Tiffany panicked.
She was just trying to be nice. If Emma said something to Gabriel, would he still treat her the same?
Tiffany tried to rush over and explain, but David stood firm.
Once the windows were up, David quickly got into the driver's seat and drove off.
In the back seat, Emma hugged Sam protectively.
"Sam, don't worry. Ethan and I will protect you. That bad woman can't hurt you."
Sam thought, 'I'm the oldest!'
That night, a storm hit, and the northwest sea had a high tide. The fishermen by the sea were so worried they didn't sleep all night.
After a whole night of rain, it finally stopped just before dawn.
The fishermen sighed in relief and quickly got up to prepare for fishing.
The tide gradually receded.
A fisherman hurried along and tripped over something, falling hard.
He cursed as he got up, but then his hand touched something strange. He looked closely.
The fisherman screamed in fright.
A skeleton had appeared on the northwest beach, and it was incomplete.
The police quickly mobilized.
After the morning meeting, Harrison followed Gabriel back to the office.
He plopped down on the sofa, crossing his legs.
"Gabriel, I need to take a leave."
"What's up?"
"I need to accompany my girlfriend abroad for a scar removal surgery."
"Girlfriend?" Gabriel caught the keyword.
"I managed to win over the cold goddess, Noah." Harrison boasted, then started teasing Gabriel, "Look at you; you've been chasing Sophia for so long and still haven't succeeded. Gabriel, I respect you in business, but in matters of the love, call me teacher, and I'll teach you a few tricks."
Gabriel gave him a cold glance. "Leave not approved."
Harrison didn't dare to tease Gabriel anymore.
"Alright, I was wrong. Even if you don't call me teacher, I'll still teach you, OK?"
Gabriel said, "Hand over your work to Alex."
"OK."
On the first day of summer vacation, the three kids were bored at home. Emma suggested they visit Gabriel's company.
So, David took the three kids to the Lancaster Group.
David was about to call Gabriel, but Emma stopped him.
"We want to give Daddy and Mommy a big surprise."
So the company's employees saw David leading three impressive-looking kids out of the elevator.
The three kids were dressed identically. Even though Emma was wearing boys' clothes, she was still so cute, with a bit of handsomeness in her cuteness.
"So cute. Are they all Mr. Lancaster's kids?"
"Those two kids look so much like Mr. Lancaster."
"Oh my God, doesn't Mr. Lancaster only have one son? How come there are two more kids?"
"Remember the street photos taken by netizens last time? Mr. Lancaster was holding two kids then."
"Could it be that Mr. Lancaster had kids outside of marriage?"
"Could it be that Ms. Foster had kids for Mr. Lancaster?"
