Chapter 664 Trevor's Father

Gummidge dropped his head, looking kind of stiff, while Aragorn's eyes, which had been shut tight, twitched a bit. When Paul finished talking, Aragorn opened his eyes.

Paul looked up. "Uncle Aragorn, you're awake."

Aragorn struggled to sit up, and Gummidge, snapping out of it, quickly helped him up and handed him some water.

After catching his breath, Aragorn spoke in a heavy tone, "Paul, fill me in on the Wolfs. How did Caroline end up as Daniel's daughter? And what's the story with Mia? What about Michael?"

Aragorn thought, 'The Wolfs have some major drama going on, and I haven't heard a peep.'

Thinking back, Aragorn suddenly got why Daisy had been so out of it lately and why she always dodged his questions about Michael and Mia.

This time, when he asked her to invite Michael and Mia to The Watson Manor, she made up some excuse about them going on a trip.

He cursed under his breath, 'No wonder Michael and Mia, who never got along, suddenly wanted to go on a trip! It's all a cover!'

Paul didn't hold back and spilled the whole story to Aragorn.

As Aragorn listened, his face got darker and darker, his hands clenched into fists, and the blood in his IV line even started to flow backward.

Gummidge panicked, "Don't get angry."

Aragorn yanked out the needle in frustration, and because he used too much force, blood splattered onto the white sheets. He didn't seem to feel the pain.

Aragorn fumed, "Something huge happened, and Daisy's still trying to keep it under wraps. What's she hiding? For us to be fools and keep raising someone else's kid for her?"

Paul pouted and muttered, "Isn't that all voluntary on your part?"

Aragorn shot him a glare, then told Gummidge, "Go home and have the maid pack up Daisy's things. From now on, Daisy is not allowed to step into The Watson Manor again."

Mia deliberately lost Daniel's daughter, so Daniel certainly wouldn't let Daisy off. From Daniel and Linda's attitude towards Daisy today, it was clear that Daisy had lost Daniel's protection.

Aragorn thought, 'So why should I keep Daisy at home, especially since Trevor isn't even a Watson?'

Paul knew all too well about Aragorn's cold-heartedness and ruthlessness. Aragorn was a man who put interests above all else.

Luckily, Nicholas was inherently upright and hadn't been tainted by Aragorn. Otherwise, the Watson Group would have a hard time becoming strong.

Gummidge shivered all over.

"What about Trevor?"

Trevor was really pitiful, still so young, and Daisy often neglected him. On top of that, Trevor had a heart condition and needed meticulous care.

"Trevor has his own mother to take care of him. If worse comes to worst, can't she go find Trevor's father?" Aragorn didn't care at all.

Gummidge wanted to say something, but her weak character ultimately kept her silent.

Aragorn closed his eyes again to rest, his chest heaving, clearly not at peace inside.

Paul took Gummidge back.

Daisy was no longer in the villa, so Gummidge asked the maid.

The maid replied, "Ms. Wolf's brother came to pick her up. It seems they went to the hospital."

Gummidge nodded, "Give Trevor to me, and you go pack Daisy's things."

Trevor had just cried himself to sleep, a tear still clinging to his eyelash. Gummidge felt a pang of sadness looking at him.

'Trevor's so unlucky to have a mom like Daisy. Will he ever have a better life?' Gummidge wondered, deeply worried.

Paul saw this and felt a twinge of sympathy, but there wasn't much he could do.

They couldn't let Aragorn and Gummidge keep raising Trevor, as that would give Daisy a reason to stay at The Watson Manor.

Nor could they let Nicholas raise him, since Trevor wasn't Nicholas's kid, and Daisy would find a way to latch onto Nicholas.

The best solution was to quickly find Trevor's father.

Meanwhile, at another hospital, Samuel brought Daisy in to get her wounds treated.

Daisy lay on the hospital bed, crying.

"Samuel, you have to help me get revenge. It's just the two of us now, you have to help me."

"Help? How am I supposed to help you?" Samuel's face was dark, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Daisy didn't catch on and kept crying, "Daniel likes you the most, and you're capable. If you can inherit the Wolf Group, we'll have hope. Mom in prison would also be comforted."

Samuel sneered, "Daisy, you're still dreaming."

Daisy's expression froze. "What did you say?"

"Uncle Daniel hates us now. Do you really think he'd let me inherit the company? Even if he wanted to keep grooming me, I wouldn't have the dignity to stay in the company."

The Wolfs was a family business, always passed down to the most capable person. In the last generation, Daniel was the standout, so Daniel's father gave him the largest shares and decision-making power, letting Michael live comfortably as a rich man.

In Samuel's generation, Clayton was rebellious and had poor grades, while Samuel excelled in everything. At this rate, the Wolf Group would likely be handed over to Samuel in the future.

But now, with everything that's happened, even if Daniel still wanted to groom Samuel, he wouldn't accept it.

"Why wouldn't you? Half of the Wolf Group originally belonged to Dad. Now that Dad is gone, you should inherit this business. Uncle Daniel, taking advantage of his power, has swallowed up the half of the property that belongs to us."

"Shut up!" Samuel shouted.

Daisy was stunned, looking at Samuel in disbelief.

"You're yelling at me? You're my brother, how dare you yell at me!"

"I'm only your brother by blood. In your heart, only Clayton is your brother. No, you probably never even considered Clayton your brother. You just used him to satisfy your vanity of being adored."

"Also, you brought this on yourself. Nicholas doesn't like you, but you still forced it. Anything that doesn't belong to you, you have to snatch it. Someone as selfish, domineering, and vicious as you deserves to be beaten."

Samuel was emotionally exhausted by the family's issues lately. He hadn't been able to contact Michael, and Daisy had caused more trouble.

Even now, she was thinking about how to retaliate, without any regret or reflection.

Samuel felt utterly drained.

Daisy was so angry at Samuel that she was gasping for breath, unable to speak.

"I've already paid for the medical expenses and found you a nurse. You stay here and rest."

Samuel left after saying that.

Daisy pounded the bed with her fist, tears streaming down her face.
