Chapter 609 A Certain Famous Person

Sophia had this heating pad on her belly, and there was this faint herbal smell wafting around under the covers. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all; kinda made her feel a bit better.

She also had this small massage pillow on her waist. Not one of those big, clunky ones. It was comfy, like really soothing.

She could feel something moving inside the pillow, like a pair of hands giving her a gentle massage.

With these two gadgets, Sophia wasn't feeling any discomfort anymore.

But she still couldn't sleep.

Just 'cause Gabriel said these things were made just for her.

Sophia thought, 'He saw how rough it was for me that one time I had my period, so he went out of his way to make sure I was comfy?'

Her heart started racing again.

She didn't know if she should trust Gabriel again.

She was scared, really scared. As long as Tiffany was around, she'd never feel safe.

She was afraid that falling for Gabriel again would just hurt her more.

Sophia put her hand on her belly, and the warmth spread through her body. Usually, her hands and feet would be cold during her period, but now they were warm.

She felt like she was basking in the warm sun, and as she thought about it, she drifted off to sleep.

The next day, Sophia overslept.

When she got up, it was already nine o'clock. The three kids had already gone to school, and Gabriel had gone to the office.

Ruth looked at Sophia with a smile.

"Don't worry, I called Celeste and told her you were too tired recently and needed a day off."

"Grandma Ruth, I still have work unfinished." Yesterday was so warm that she slept exceptionally well.

"One day off won't make the company collapse. Just rest at home today." Ruth's face turned serious. "If Jennifer dares to overwork you, I'll tell Celeste."

"Fine, I'll rest at home for a day."

Sophia was the one who was always going the extra mile. It had nothing to do with Jennifer.

Soon, Betty brought over a bowl of soup.

"Miss Kelly, please eat this."

"What is it?"

It wasn't mealtime yet, and Sophia had her mouth full of bread.

"Mr. Lancaster specifically asked the kitchen to make this soup for you."

'Gabriel ordered it?' Sophia thought.

"Yes, eat it up; it's good for your health." Ruth urged.

Seeing Gabriel taking care of Sophia like that brought a huge smile to Ruth's face. 'He's finally becoming the man I knew he could be,' she mused.

Under Ruth and Betty's watchful eyes, Sophia had no choice but to eat it.

That day, Ruth didn't allow Sophia to do any work-related tasks. Feeling quite bored, Sophia called Caroline.

Finding out that Caroline was free in the afternoon, Sophia immediately arranged to meet her, and they went to get a spa together.

After returning to City B, Tiffany rested for two days. She sat on the couch with her iPad, watching MilkSugar's live stream replays.

She had been following MilkSugar for a long time.

Currently, MilkSugar was the most popular streamer in the live streaming industry.

Even though MilkSugar never showed her face and streamed infrequently, her popularity remained high.

Every time she went live, at least hundreds of thousands of people would watch.

The platform MilkSugar streamed on had been acquired by the Lancaster Group, and Tiffany had a guess.

She'd seen Sophia's daughter, Emma, playing games in the kindergarten surveillance footage, and the kid was pretty darn good at it.

Lately, she rewatched all of MilkSugar's live stream replays and the video from the last fan meet-up.

She had a hunch that MilkSugar was actually Sophia's daughter, Emma!

If that were true, things were about to get real interesting.

Tiffany took a bite of her apple. A five-year-old gaming prodigy? That fit Emma to a T.

Since everyone online was dying to know who MilkSugar was, she figured she'd do them a solid and spill the beans that it was Emma.

Tiffany picked up her phone and made a call.

At school, Emma and Josie were desk mates. Emma was zoning out during class, while Josie was all ears. Ethan was nose-deep in a literary classic, and Sam was doodling away.

The teacher was used to their antics.

At first, the teacher tried to get them to pay attention, but after they aced every single test, she gave up.

They knew their stuff and didn't bother anyone else.

In fact, because of the triplets, the other kids looked up to them and were super eager to ace their tests too, making them more focused in class.

As soon as the class ended, Emma whipped out her iPad to log into the game.

She saw in the chat that someone was saying MilkSugar's true identity had been exposed.

Emma thought, 'Am I busted?'

"Ethan, Ethan, something's up."

Ethan reluctantly put down his book.

Sam and Josie also looked over, curious.

Emma shouted, "Check out the news online."

Ethan pulled out his iPad.

Various social media accounts were claiming that MilkSugar's true identity was the illegitimate daughter of some famous person.

As for who exactly, netizens were going wild with guesses.

They had a bunch of theories.

There were even accounts promising to reveal MilkSugar's photo tonight.

The hype was blowing up.

"Ethan, what do we do now?" Emma asked, frowning and clutching Ethan's hand.

"Daddy probably knows about this too. Let's leave it to him," Ethan said calmly.

"Yeah, Daddy's got this."

Emma called Gabriel with her smartwatch and cried, "Daddy."

Gabriel's heart melted at Emma's voice, and he spoke gently, "What's wrong?"

"Daddy, someone is gonna expose my identity."

"I know about this. Don't worry; Daddy's got you."

"Okay, Daddy, I want a new skin for my character." Emma turned around and kept acting cute with Gabriel.

Ethan was silent.

He suspected Emma wasn't really worried but was using this as an excuse to ask Gabriel for a cool skin.

Sophia was applying a face mask and saw the news about MilkSugar while scrolling on her phone.

She often heard Larry rave about his little goddess "MilkSugar," but she wasn't that interested. Still, she'd come across news about this streamer a bunch of times.

Gradually, she got curious.

She wanted to see what MilkSugar looked like.

'Is MilkSugar really the illegitimate daughter of a famous person?' she wondered.

By evening, the account that had promised to reveal the photo had been deactivated.

Netizens started speculating.

Someone must've shut it down, confirming that MilkSugar's identity was indeed a big deal.

While everyone was buzzing about this, another random account posted a photo of MilkSugar.
