Chapter 371 Bitten

There were countless companies seeking Emma for endorsements and acting roles, but now she had backing, and Gabriel had arranged for all these matters to be handled.

Even those who still wanted to criticize her were dealt with by Gabriel.

Emma was playing a game and saw Kyi online, so she immediately sent Kyi a team invitation.

Meanwhile, Ethan was writing programming code on an iPad.

A long string of data made Sam's head spin.

He was very bored, so he took a pen and started drawing on paper.

At nine o'clock, the three kids each went to take a bath.

Sophia and Caroline were both quite drunk, slurring their words.

"Sophie, I can't take it anymore; I need to go to bed." Caroline got up, staggered upstairs to her room, and fell asleep as soon as she hit the bed.

Sophia blushed a deep shade of crimson. She looked at the mess on the table and giggled foolishly.

She wanted to take a bath, but as soon as she stood up, she felt the whole world spinning.

Ethan said, "I'll go check on Godmother; you and Sam watch over Mommy."

"Okay."

Ethan ran upstairs to check on Caroline while Emma took out her smartwatch to call Gabriel.

"Daddy, Mommyand Godmother are both drunk."

Two minutes later, Gabriel appeared, looking at Sophia slumped over the dining table. Gabriel gently said to the kids, "You all go to bed first, and I'll clean up here."

"What about Mommy?" Emma asked.

"I'll take care of her, so don't worry."

Emma pulled Sam back to their room, and Emma also pulled Ethan, who was halfway down the stairs, back to the kids' room.

"What about Mommy?" Ethan asked.

"Daddy's here; he will take care of Mommy. Let's go to sleep."

Ethan was silent.

Emma had sold out Sophia again.

Downstairs, Gabriel supported Sophia, who half-opened her eyes, feeling the scene in front of her overlapping.

"Who are you?"

"Gabriel."

"Gabriel? Jerk."

Gabriel remained silent.

"Go away." Sophia pushed him hard, but she lost her balance and flailed her arms, screaming.

Gabriel reached out to catch her but accidentally got pulled down with her.

At the critical moment, he quickly protected the back of her head with his hand.

They fell to the ground, and coincidentally, Gabriel's lips pressed against Sophia's warm lips.

The air was filled with a faint scent of alcohol.

Gabriel was stunned, and Sophia was confused. Fortunately, the floor was carpeted, so the fall didn't hurt.

She blinked and opened her mouth to speak, inadvertently taking his lips into her mouth.

Sophia accidentally bit down.

Gabriel frowned, his eyes sparkling.

He gazed deeply into Sophia's eyes and suddenly deepened the kiss.

The sweet taste of red wine quickly spread in their mouths, and Gabriel rolled over, holding Sophia.

Gabriel frowned as he was bitten again; this time, Sophia bit hard enough to break his lip.

"Are you crazy?" Blood oozed from Gabriel's lower lip.

"You're crazy!" Sophia was very displeased.

Gabriel dared to kiss her!

She would bite him violently!

Sophia caught his upper lip and bit down again.

Gabriel thought, 'Great, now the scars on my lips are symmetrical.'

Gabriel was about to go crazy. Afraid she would bite again, he quickly picked Sophia up and threw her onto the bed.

"If you can't handle drinking, don't drink." The burning sensation on his lips made Gabriel a bit irritable.

Sophia, feeling dizzy, rolled over on the bed and wrapped herself tightly, leaving only her head exposed.

"Jerk, don't think you can take advantage of me, not a chance!"

"If you call me a jerk again, I really will take advantage of you." Gabriel deliberately scared her with a fierce tone.

Sophia shivered, seemingly scared.

Gabriel had just breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her eyes redden, and she started to cry.

"You're bullying me; you're actually bullying me. I'm going to tell my parents."

Gabriel was stunned again.

"Gabriel, you're a jerk. I've liked you for so many years, and you never even looked at me."

Sophia cried so sadly, accusing him while sobbing.

"I'm sorry." Gabriel, feeling guilty, approached and half-knelt by the bed, pulling her out of the blanket.

Sophia punched him.

"Now I don't like you anymore; get away from me."

Gabriel covered his eye where she had hit him, a spark flickering in his other eye.

He suspected that Sophia was pretending to be drunk to get back at him.

Half an hour later, Sophia had exhausted herself and fell asleep on the bed.

Gabriel's clothes were disheveled, his shirt wrinkled, tie hanging around his neck, hair messy, and a faint bruise around his left eye.

He looked a bit miserable.

Despite this, his charm was not diminished; instead, he had a few more touches of poignant beauty. Gabriel pressed his thin lips together, his shirt buttons torn open, revealing his abs, making him even more alluring.

Late at night, Gabriel sighed. Looking at Sophia on the bed, he pulled off his tie, then turned her over to lie on her back, helped her take off her shoes, and covered her with a blanket.

However, as soon as he reached the door and turned back, he saw Sophia had kicked the blanket off.

That familiar action was just like Emma.

She and Emma were indeed a mother-daughter duo.

Gabriel walked over to cover her again, but soon, the blanket was kicked off again.

In this weather, the air conditioning had to be on indoors, but if Sophia didn't cover herself, she could catch a cold.

Gabriel frowned.

That night, Sophia slept soundly. Although she was drunk, she didn't have much of a headache when she woke up the next day.

She slowly opened her eyes and found herself still wearing yesterday's clothes, reeking of alcohol, which even she found unpleasant.

She quickly got up to take a shower and change clothes.

While brushing her teeth, Sophia felt her lips a bit sore.

Looking in the mirror, she saw her lips were broken.

'It must have been accidentally bitten by myself, right?' She thought.

"Mommy, you're finally up."

The three kids had already packed their bags and were ready to go to school.

"Sorry, I got up late. Have you eaten?"

"Yes, Daddy is taking us to kindergarten. Mommy, we're leaving now."

"Okay."

The three kids came over, and each kissed Sophia.

Emma looked at Sophia's lips and tilted her head.

"What's wrong?" Sophia asked gently.

"Mommy, how did your lips get bitten too?"

Sophia asked, "Who else's lips are bitten?"

"Daddy's. Daddy's lips are bitten in two places, and he looks like a bear because of the dark cycles under his eyes ."

"What?"

Emma was startled; she couldn't let Sophia find out she let Gabriel in last night.

"Mommy, we have to go now, goodbye."

Emma quickly ran off, leaving Sophia standing there, seemingly petrified.

Harrison looked at Gabriel's eyes and laughed heartily.

Harrison's laughter echoed from the CEO's office to the secretary's department outside.
