Chapter 51 Where There Are Few People

Tiffany looked at Fiona, who was dressed like a superstar, with dislike in her heart.

She lacks success in accomplishing things but has an abundance of causing trouble!

And now she has the audacity to come to her for help.

Fiona held Tiffany's hand, looking around to make sure nobody noticed, and pleaded, "Miss Foster, I really can't afford to lose this job. I didn't even dare to go to work today, fearing I would receive a termination notice."

The negative impact of this incident caused Lancaster's stock price to drop by a point or two today.

Mr. Lancaster's strictness is widely known throughout the company.

Back then, he mercilessly fired a male executive who had his messy personal life exposed by a mistress and even got involved with a female subordinate. The female subordinate, who had impure intentions, was also dismissed alongside him.

Now that Fiona's actions of hitting a child at the company have been exposed, Mr. Lancaster will definitely not show her any mercy.

She could only beg Tiffany, the future Mrs. Lancaster.

"You, I have told you countless times to keep a low profile, to offend fewer people. Who besides me can help you now?" Tiffany scolded her.

Of course, she would help Fiona to preserve her, as she needed Fiona's assistance in dealing with Sophia.

But she wouldn't help Fiona for nothing. Fiona looked at Tiffany hopefully.

"Thank you, Miss Foster."

"I can help you plead with Mr. Lancaster, but you need to do something for me."

"What is it?"

Tiffany gestured for Fiona to come closer and whispered a few words in her ear. Fiona's expression changed from confusion to sudden realization, and she nodded casually in agreement.

"Don't worry, I will definitely help you."

It wasn't difficult to make Sophia leave Lancaster.

After enjoying a pleasant meal together, Tiffany parted ways with Fiona and went to find Gabriel at Lancaster.

Gabriel had already started investigating this matter and naturally saw that Fiona had bullied the same little girl he had seen that day.

Being a parent himself, and seeing the adorable little girl, he immediately wanted to have Fiona fired by the administration.

But before he could make the call, Tiffany arrived.

"Gabriel, I have a favor to ask."

Gabriel had to put the phone down first and glanced at her with curiosity. "What is it?"

"Fiona is my good friend, and I want to plead with you. Can you not fire her?" Tiffany pleaded softly.

Gabriel wrinkled his brows, clearly reluctant to agree.

Quickly, Tiffany added, "I have never begged you for anything before. This is the first time,

Gabriel. Fiona knows she was wrong, and she said she will apologize to the child's parents."
Gabriel

The principle was strong, and Gabriel wouldn't change easily. Tiffany would have to put in some effort to get him to agree.

Seeing Tiffany's sincere face, Gabriel eventually agreed.

Indeed, Tiffany had never asked him for anything, and over the years, he felt guilty for not giving her a wedding.

Since that's the case, he'll just go along with her request.

Gabriel had Alex arrange to suppress the matter and then urge Fiona to apologize to the parents of the child.

However, what puzzled them was that they couldn't find the parents!

No one from the company came forward to claim the child.

Larry, who had taken the child to the hospital, only said that the child had suddenly disappeared halfway.

Since they couldn't find them, Gabriel didn't want to waste time dealing with such a minor issue, and naturally, his subordinates let it go.

That evening, the two little ones returned home and were promptly given a spanking by Sophia.

Emma whimpered, "Mommy, I was wrong, I won't do it again." Ethan also looked remorseful. Sophia asked, “What did you do wrong?” “We won’t run around anymore,” they replied.

Sophia glared sternly, “Wrong! You were wrong for not telling mommy when you were being bullied.”

Ethan and Emma: ...

Why is mommy focusing on something else this time?

Sophia couldn't bear to actually hit the children. It was just a show to scare them. She hugged the two little ones and softened her tone a bit.

"I know you are both smart kids and won't easily be bullied by others, but mommy is still afraid. You're still so young and not as strong as adults. Mommy is more afraid of you being bullied and not being able to defend yourselves."

The two children now realized their mistake.

"Mama, we know we were wrong, but mommy, we weren't bullied," Ethan explained softly.

Then Emma, annoyed, began to tell all, "It was that mean woman who said bad things about mommy behind her back. My brother and I wanted to stand up for mommy, so I intentionally spilled coffee on her. And I intentionally fell down, but I didn't get hurt."

Seeing the proud look on the little troublemaker's face, Sophia couldn't help but laugh and cry.

After a while, she put on a serious face and sternly -told them, "You're not allowed to go to Lancaster on your own anymore, understand!"

Ethan immediately replied, "Understood!"

Emma didn't understand, "But it's fun there, and there are lots of handsome brothers and sisters."

"But there are also many bad people. If you really get bullied and mommy is far away and can't protect you, what will you do?"

Emma thought for a moment. "Fine, I'll listen to mommy."

"Good."

Sophia kissed each of them on the forehead and patted their bottoms.

"Go take a shower."

Sophia continued to busy herself in the study, while the two children finished their bath and whispered to each other on the floor cushion.

"Is Sam really mommy's child?" Emma exclaimed.

Ethan pulled her closer and whispered, "Lower your voice."

Emma asked eagerly, "So Sam's dad is our dad too?"

Ethan nodded expressionlessly.

Emma seemed delighted, realizing that she wasn't a fatherless child. However...

"Why doesn't Dad want us?"

Ethan snorted, "Dad treated Mommy badly. He found another auntie and left Mommy. He bullied Mommy, so I won't acknowledge him."

As for whether Emma would acknowledge him or not, he respected her decision.
After thinking for a moment, Emma made up her mind, "I won't acknowledge him either. Those who bully Mommy are all bad guys!"

"What about Sam?" she asked again.

"He definitely doesn't know what's going on. Let's invite him to play next time and see how things go before deciding whether to tell him or not."

Emma agreed.

"Should we tell Mommy?"

Ethan was also conflicted.

In the end, the two little ones " schemed" and decided to keep the secret, not telling anyone.
Most of all, they had to actively cooperate with Mommy and not let the big bad Dad find out.

"Oh, how did Mommy find out about our trip to Lancaster?" Emma remembered the reason she got a spanking from Mommy this time.

Ethan's expression changed slightly as he took out his iPad and checked. He found out that someone had already posted the video, and it quickly went viral.

He had been busy investigating Mommy and Sam's situation these past few days and hadn't had a chance to handle it yet. Unexpectedly, someone beat him to it.

No wonder Mommy found out.

Next time, when they teach a lesson to those who bully Mommy, they have to find a place with fewer people.
