Ethan was taken aback for a moment, then immediately denied, "He definitely doesn't know yet, otherwise he would have come to find us already."
"Mhmm," Emma agreed with Ethan and continued discussing their plan to buy a toy car.

Ethan and Emma knew that Sam would be coming to their kindergarten today. Emma wanted to go and greet Sam at the gate, but Ethan held her back and hid.

Ethan took off his own coat, "Put on my coat and wear the hood."
Emma's coat didn't have a hood.
After disguising herself, Emma ran as fast as she could to the bathroom.
She was afraid of being discovered by Sam's mean dad, so she ran with her head down. Then, with a "bang," she collided with someone and fell to the ground, landing on her bottom.
"Waa, my butt!" Emma covered her blossoming bottom, tears streaming down her face from the pain.
Ethan, who saw this scene not far away, wanted to run over and help Emma, but he saw that the person Emma had collided with was Sam's mean dad. His face changed, unsure of what to do.

Gabriel walked along just fine when a little figure rushed towards him like a missile, collided with his leg, and fell to the ground.
