Chapter 139 A Little Unfair.

There was a fan whose dad was being driven crazy by his child's homework. Today, he finally caught MilkSugar's livestream and started leaving comments with a hopeful attitude.

['MilkSugar, save me.']

Emma was baffled—why was someone asking for help?

"Are you being kidnapped?" she asked.

['No, no, I'm not kidnapped, but I'm about to go crazy from my son's Math homework.']

"Do you want me to help your son with his homework?" Emma responded.

['I'll write down the problem, and MilkSugar can give me the answers.']

"Well, let me try." Emma said wanting to help.

Her fans were all adults who regarded her as a daughter. They often sent her gifts and supported her, so Emma thought it was no problem to help them with a math problem.

The fan posted the question in the comments, and after reading it, Emma quickly provided a solution.

['This... seems to be a high school-level function. MilkSugar, do you even understand high school math?']

” I’m MilkSugar, gifted with high intelligence.” Emma said confidently.

['MilkSugar, MilkSugar, I also have a question.'] another fan asked.

['Me too, math problems are so difficult.']

['What's going on? Weren't we watching a gaming livestream?'] another fan asked as comments started pouring in.

"Going live? Is it going to be a math livestream?" The comment section of the livestream flooded with math questions. In reality, Emma wasn't very good at math; Ethan was the really talented one.

Emma couldn't solve most of the questions that the fans had asked, but Ethan quickly wrote down the solution on paper and Emma would then explain it to everyone.

Big John and Money Daddy were still busy sending gifts. Every time MilkSugar went live, they were there, ensuring MilkSugar's popularity rose to the top of the rankings.

An hour passed quickly, and Emma focused on solving problems for everyone without playing any games.

However, it was already time for her to go offline. If she didn't log off soon, her mom might come in.

"Happy New Year, everyone! In the new year, MilkSugar wishes all your dreams come true, and for you all to have safety and health." Emma said.

"MilkSugar we also wish you to grow up healthy and happy." One fan said.

"MilkSugar is the best." Another agreed.

The comment section was filled with well-wishes. Emma went offline and saw that Money Daddy was still ranked first among the fans. She pouted.

Even though Daddy always showered her with lots of gifts, he was still a bad daddy!

The keywords "MilkSugar Livestream Problem Solving" trended on hot searches once again. MilkSugar's popularity in the livestream room continued to rise, making many other streamers jealous.

At the Lancaster Mansion, Mrs. Lancaster couldn't stay up late and went to bed early. Gabriel was in Sam's room; they were playing with Lego together.

Sam played quietly, and Gabriel occasionally reminisced about how Sophia interacted with Sam, patiently asking him various questions like Sophia did.

Picking up a small piece, Gabriel asked, "Where does this one go?"
Sam pointed to a certain part.

"Oh, that's right. And what about this piece?" Gabriel asked again.

Sam looked at his dad with a complicated expression. How did his dad become so foolish? He couldn't even handle such a simple Lego.

Gabriel, who wanted to interact with his son, felt a bit wronged. It took them an hour of questioning and guidance to finally complete a small Lego set together. It was the first Lego set they finished as a father and son, and Gabriel found it very meaningful.

"Let's give this to Daddy." Gabriel asked.

Sam had plenty of Legos, so he happily nodded. Gabriel placed the completed Lego set on the bookshelf in the study as a decoration.

The hour hand was already pointing to ten. Sam rarely stayed up so late, so Gabriel quickly urged him to go to bed.

Sam shook his head. He wanted to stay up until midnight to send his wishes to Ethan and Emma.

"Aren't you sleepy yet?" Gabriel asked, noticing that Sam was clearly tired. But Sam insisted on not sleeping and wanted to wait until midnight.

On the other side, Ethan and Emma couldn't stay up any longer and had already been carried to bed by Sophia.

In the end, Sam couldn't hold on either, and by eleven o'clock, he was fast asleep.

When Sam and the others woke up early the next day, all three little ones regretted falling asleep. They immediately took out their smartwatches to send each other blessings.

After Gabriel had finished his run, he took a shower, and had breakfast with his family, after which made arrangements to take Sam fishing in the morning.

Seeing Gabriel with his fishing rod, Mrs. Lancaster glanced outside at the weather. "You're going fishing on such a cold day. Don't catch a cold." She said.

Gabriel replied, "There's sunshine today, so it won't be too cold."

Though the snow hadn't fallen in City B for days, it was gloomy until today when the sun finally came out. Sam, who had changed into his clothes slowly, felt anxious.

Why hadn't Alex taken his dad away yet? What if Ethan and Emma saw his dad when they arrived? He didn't want them to be scared off and never come to their house again.

He planned to first change Ethan and Emma's impression of his dad, and then introduce them to his good friend later.

Sam walked down the stairs unusually slowly, and Gabriel patiently waited for his son. The phone rang in the house, Betty answered it, and then shouted, "Mr. Lancaster, it's your call."

Gabriel picked up the phone. Alex's urgent voice came through, "Boss, Riaca City needs you to go there."

"Didn't I ask you to handle it yourself?" Gabriel's voice carried a touch of impatience. Alex should have known he was going to spend time with his son today and not bother him with such trivial matters.

Alex sensed the dissatisfaction in his boss's tone and trembled, responding with boldness, "I can't handle it."

Alex almost put himself in a difficult situation. After so many years by Gabriel's side, he had gained Gabriel's trust and respect, so his capabilities were undoubtedly not lacking.

When Gabriel entrusted this matter to him, it was because he believed he would handle it well. But now he was saying he couldn't handle it? Wasn't that admitting his own incompetence?

Alex felt completely overwhelmed. "Let's discuss this tomorrow," Gabriel said, clearly stating that he would not be bothered with work today, and everything had to wait.

Alex was on the verge of tears. "Boss, we can't wait until tomorrow. If we do, things will escalate."

Gabriel frowned with his eyebrows tightly knit.

"Boss, you can handle it in just half a day, without delaying your time with the young master," Alex said.

Gabriel felt frustrated. He had to cancel his fishing trip. Apologetically he looked at Sam, and said, "Daddy has to go out for some work, I can only play with you in the afternoon."

Sam nodded and said, "Daddy, go quickly. I don't blame you."

Not only did Sam not blame him, he was actually quite happy.
