Chapter 205 Finding Mommy

Ethan, with his iPad in hand, was the first to jump out of the car. He put on his coat and hat, pulled up his mask, and quickly disappeared at the elevator entrance.
After Emma finished calling her godmother, she went with Sam to find their bad guy daddy.
With David leading, they weren't stopped when they entered. Emma, like Ethan, wore a mask and a hat, with only two little braids sticking out and a pair of big, round eyes.
Sam held her tightly, fearing that she would get lost.
David called Gabriel but no one answered, so he finally called Alex.
Alex was leisurely looking for food, so he could go back to sleep after eating.
"What? Where are you? Don't come to the banquet hall; there are too many people. I'll come get you."
Alex hurriedly dropped his food and went to pick up Sam.
After Tiffany finished her call, she came out of the restroom and went straight into the elevator to find Gabriel.
The show was about to start. Those two women had already entered the hotel, and they must have caught Harrison and Sophia in the act.
Now she was waiting for those two to make a big fuss and alarm everyone.
Tiffany took the elevator on the other side to the top floor.
Elsewhere, Alex picked up Sam and his friend at the entrance of the banquet hall. Sam gestured that he wanted to find his dad, and Alex led them there.
However, after seeing Emma, Alex had a sudden feeling of familiarity, as if he had seen her somewhere.
Those eyes were very spirited, like... Milk Sugar!
Yes, it was the gaming genius girl, Milk Sugar.
Was it really her?
Alex looked at her over and over again.
Sometimes he thought she looked like her and sometimes he thought she looked nothing like her.
Emma was also afraid of being recognized. She pretended to be timid and leaned towards Sam, then lowered her head, acting like she didn't dare to look at Alex.
"Where's my dad?" Sam asked Alex in sign language.
"The boss has gone to change his clothes, don't worry."
"I need help finding someone." Sam gestured urgently.
"Who?"
"Aunt Kelly got drunk and was taken away by someone. I'm really worried about her. She should still be in the hotel." Sam finished signing quickly and anxiously tugged at Alex's clothes.
Alex's expression instantly became serious.
"Are you sure Miss Kelly hasn't left the hotel?"
Sam nodded.
Ethan had checked, and there was no surveillance record of Aunt Kelly leaving.
Alex suddenly had a bad feeling.
This matter must be reported to the boss as soon as possible. If something happened to Sophia in the hotel... the consequences would be unimaginable.
Meanwhile, Ethan continued to attack the hotel's surveillance system with his iPad every time he waited for the elevator. But the other party was destroying it too quickly, and he didn't have time to repair it.
His worry and anxiety made Ethan lose his footing, and he was almost hacked by the other party.
Ethan was racing against time, his eyes red with urgency. His iPad ran out of battery and shut down at this critical moment.
He couldn't help but drop a tear.
"Mommy, where are you?"
Mommy, you must be okay.
Ethan held the iPad tightly, searching floor by floor.
So many rooms... He knocked on each door, using the clumsiest of methods.
Knocking and shouting at the same time, "Mommy... it's Ethan, are you there..."
Since the Lancaster Group had booked the entire hotel, apart from Lancaster Group employees who came to rest when they were tired, there were no other guests. Ethan knocked on many doors, but no one answered.
Suddenly, he saw a fire extinguisher box in the corner, and an idea came to him. He stood on the box, tiptoed, and pressed the alarm button.
The "woo woo..." sound instantly echoed through the floor he was on, and soon, floor after floor.
People in the banquet hall were panicked.
Those who were half-drunk sobered up in an instant, and the men and women flirting with each other also got a shock.
"Is there a fire?"
"Everyone, don't panic. Evacuate in an orderly manner, ladies first..."
Mr. Lancaster was not there, neither were Harrison and Alex. Several senior leaders stepped forward to maintain order and quickly contacted the hotel staff.
The hotel staff quickly took action.
Alex, Sam, and Emma had just come out of the elevator when they heard the alarm.
"David, you quickly take the two children away; I'll go find the boss." Alex immediately reacted.
"I'm not leaving." Emma vaguely guessed that Ethan might have triggered the alarm.
Sam also refused to leave; he had not found Aunt Kelly yet.
What if Aunt Kelly was still here and didn't come out, and got burned? Sam's little face was adorned with a serious expression, and he refused to leave no matter what.
"David, take them away!"
There was no room for two children to be willful at this time. Alex spoke sternly, and when David went to pick up Sam and Emma, Sam glared at him with sharp eyes, and Emma also ran forward.
At this time, the door of the suite opened, and Gabriel came out holding something. His hair was dripping wet, and so was his body.
"Mr. Lancaster." Alex quickly ran up to him and saw that the thing Gabriel was holding was Sophia.
Sophia was also wet, but she was wrapped in a blanket. Her eyes were closed, and she was apparently unconscious.
"Sam." Gabriel saw Sam and the little girl next to him at first glance.
Emma rushed forward anxiously. She couldn't see clearly if the person in bad guy daddy's arms was Mommy, and she jumped up and down trying to see.
"Daddy, where is Aunt Kelly?" Sam signed.
"She's here."
"Mom... Godmother!" Emma was about to call "Mommy," but suddenly remembered Ethan's instructions and changed her words in time.
The alarm was still ringing, and Gabriel didn't have time to ask how Sam and this child appeared there. He held Sophia and gave Alex a look.
"Sam, you've found Aunt Kelly; let's go quickly."
David and Alex each carried a child and quickly left, using the staircase.
Tiffany was also startled by the alarm. She called Gabriel but couldn't get through, so she had to call Alex. Alex was holding a child in one hand and answering the phone in the other.
"Hello."
"Where's Gabriel? I knocked on his door and no one answered."
"Mr. Lancaster is with me; we are evacuating. Miss Foster, you should evacuate quickly too."
"What? Okay, I got it."
Damn it, at a critical moment, how could there be a fire? Tiffany turned and started climbing down the safety stairs.
Everyone was evacuating, but the hotel had already determined that there was no fire.
Halfway through the run, Alex received a call. He was panting, "Mr. Lancaster, there's no fire."
Gabriel stopped. He was also panting. Holding Sophia was easy, but continuously going down the stairs and taking care not to bump the person in his arms was a test of his strength.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, the hotel said a child triggered all the alarms."
"You stay and handle the aftermath. David, take the children and follow me." Gabriel said in a deep voice, holding Sophia and entering the elevator on the floor as David took Emma from Alex's arms.
Emma's eyes twinkled. As expected, Ethan had triggered the alarm. Only in this way would everyone come out of their rooms and they could find Mommy.
She had to hurry up and meet up with Ethan, but Mommy... Emma looked worriedly at Mommy, then at the bad guy daddy.
