At the hospital, Celeste peeled a banana for Patricia with care.
Patricia took it and said, "Thanks, Grandma."
Seeing her eat happily, Celeste smiled. "Patricia, I have a question."
"Sure," Patricia replied.
"Did you design the outfit for the classical fashion show yourself?" Celeste asked.
Patricia hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Of course, Grandma. Why do you ask?"
Celeste continued, "The organizers got a complaint saying your design looks like Kathy's style, suggesting it's not original."
Patricia immediately thought of Sophia. It had to be her trying to ruin Patricia's chances.
Furious, Patricia said, "Grandma, it's definitely my work. Who would make such a complaint?"
She grabbed Celeste's hand, looking upset. "You have to help me find out who did this. I really did create it myself. You've seen how hard I've been working, staying up late to learn design."
Celeste's disappointment grew. "I thought you had changed, which is why I've been supporting you and even considered handing over Fusion Dynamics Corporation to you."
Patricia swallowed hard, wanting to explain, but Celeste interrupted. "But now you've made a mistake and won't admit it."
Patricia's heart sank. 'Does Celeste not believe me?'

That evening, when Jennifer got home, Celeste was watching TV in the living room.
"Mom, how's Patricia?" Jennifer asked.
"She's still in the hospital," Celeste replied.
"You're leaving her alone in the hospital?" Jennifer was surprised but quickly understood.
Patricia's actions had finally crossed Celeste's line.
Fusion Dynamics Corporation started with fabrics and didn't design clothes initially. Celeste built its reputation in the design industry herself.
Design was as important to Celeste as her own life, and Patricia's actions broke her heart.
"Let her stay alone and think," Celeste said coldly.
Jennifer sighed, "Patricia was foolish. Mom, this hasn't been discovered yet, so there's still time to fix it. Do you want me to handle it?"
Celeste was silent for a long time before saying, "Handle it. Find a way to resolve this."

"It was me," Sophia admitted without hesitation.
Jennifer was silent.
Sophia added, "I grew up with Patricia. I know her well. As long as I'm at Fusion Dynamics Corporation, she will do everything to drive me away. I don't want to make things difficult for you and Celeste. If I leave, no one will hinder Patricia from becoming your and Celeste's successor. I'm sorry for the impact this has had on the company."
