Chapter 127 Tiffany's Frustration

At the international airport in City B, Sophia was a bit nervous as she waited to meet Colin. She didn't know how to start the conversation when she saw him.

Colin was Morris's most proud disciple, inheriting Morris's true teachings and achieving significant accomplishments in the medical field. Whenever Morris was away, Colin would take over his position, and there had been no cases of failure so far.

Outstanding individuals always had a hint of arrogance, and Colin not only inherited his master's medical skills but also his eccentricity. He was very picky with patients and not just anyone could seek treatment from him.

Caroline could only apologize to Sophia and say, "I once helped a governor make a connection, and Colin reluctantly agreed to meet him but refused to treat him."

Sophia asked, "Why did he refuse?"

She wanted to learn from the lesson and avoid making the same mistake.

Caroline replied, "I don't know either. I asked Colin, but he just said he didn't want to treat him."

Well, exceptional people didn't even bother to find excuses.

Sophia felt heavy-hearted. As the time of the flight's arrival approached, her anxiety grew. She had sweaty palms and kept wiping them with tissues.

As the plane landed, people started to come out of the arrival gate with their luggage.

"They're coming out."

Caroline spotted the tall man with silver glasses at a glance. His jet-black hair naturally curled at the ends, and he had distinct facial features with a high nose bridge. A smile appeared in his brown eyes as his mouth curved slightly upwards, and his long fingers elegantly adjusted his glasses.

"Sophisticated-looking guy, that's him."

These four words popped into Sophia's mind as soon as she saw Colin.

She didn't have time to be surprised by the fact that Colin was from China and completely different from the conservative medical guru she imagined. She quickly noticed Tiffany, who was with Colin.

"Tiffany!"

"What?" Caroline was waving at Colin and suddenly heard what Sophia said.

"The woman with Colin is Tiffany."

Caroline had never seen Tiffany before. When she first saw her, she thought Colin had changed assistants again.

Colin also spotted Caroline and walked over with a smile.

The two of them politely embraced each other as soon as they met.

"Colin, long time no see."

"I didn't expect you to come to China too." Colin was surprised as well.

"Sophia, what are you doing here?" Tiffany frowned, interrupting Caroline and Colin's reunion.

Colin followed her gaze and was surprised when he saw Sophia's face.

"Who is this?" he asked Caroline.

Caroline pulled Sophia over and introduced her.

Come, let me introduce Colin: "This is my best friend Sophia."

Colin extended his hand, "Hello, I'm Colin."

Ignoring Tiffany's murderous gaze, Sophia smiled and shook hands with Colin.

"Hello, I didn't expect Mr. Colin to be so young and handsome."

Colin, flattered by the compliment, felt his smile widen.

"You resemble someone close to me, so seeing you feels familiar."

Sophia laughed, feeling her nervousness gradually dissipate.

It seemed that Colin was not difficult to get along with, so he should agree to what she was about to say, right?

Tiffany, who was completely ignored, seethed with hatred. She had purposely taken the green channel to meet Colin inside, wanting to bring him to Gabriel as soon as possible. This was also an opportunity for her to show her "care" for Sam.

Little did she know that she would encounter Sophia, this annoying presence.

"Mr. Colin, it's getting late, and our car is waiting outside," Tiffany reminded Colin.

Colin suddenly remembered the clingy person who had been by his side since he disembarked the plane, chattering incessantly and giving him a headache.

"I'm going to have dinner with my friends. As for what you said, I'll consider it."

Colin gave a slight smile, polite but with a hint of arrogance.

Tiffany panicked. She had promised Gabriel firmly that she would bring Colin over first.

"Mr. Colin, I was the first one to pick you up."

Why were Sophia and the others able to take Colin away?

To highlight her position of power, Tiffany even brought two bodyguards, who instinctively blocked Colin and his companions' way as soon as Tiffany finished speaking.

Colin's face darkened, and the smile on his lips disappeared.

He didn't like being bothered, especially when he had already made it clear. Now, this person was still relentless. He had been somewhat interested in considering what she had said earlier, but now... well, whatever.

"Are you trying to restrict my personal freedom?" He cast a cold glance at Tiffany.

Tiffany's scalp tightened, and she quickly raised her hand to signal the two bodyguards to step aside.

"I didn't mean that, Mr. Colin. I really mean it..."

Before Tiffany could finish, Colin raised his long legs and walked away.

"Ha..." Caroline couldn't help but laugh, earning a glare from Tiffany, but she didn't mind.

It was this despicable woman who had caused her best friend to suffer so much, resulting in their separation. If it wasn't for the wrong timing, she would have definitely beaten Tiffany up to vent for Sophia.

Tiffany felt defeated, while Sophia felt satisfied. She quickly pulled Caroline along to catch up with Colin.

Tiffany watched their three figures walking away and stood there,

In the original position, she was so angry that her head was spinning.

"Miss Foster, what should we do now?" the bodyguard asked cautiously.

Tiffany roared, "You fools, why don't you just die from your own stupidity!"

The bodyguards looked innocent. Where did they go wrong?

The three of them got into the car, and Sophia briefed Colin on the situation in the country. Colin grew up abroad and was unfamiliar with the domestic situation. Although this was not his first time in Country Z, he had been here very few times and for short durations.

He eagerly listened to Sophia's introduction.

Caroline asked, "By the way, are you here in Country Z for an academic exchange?"

"No, it's a personal trip."

As for the specific details of his personal trip, their relationship was not yet deep enough for them to share everything. Caroline knew this and refrained from asking further.

Sophia felt that the timing was right and brought up the purpose of her accompanying them to pick Colin up.

"You're married?" Colin looked at Sophia in surprise.

She seemed to be in her twenties, and she already had a child so young!

"I was married," Sophia's face flashed with embarrassment.

Was married? So that means she's divorced?

Colin noticed her ease and quickly concealed his surprise, returning to his usual gentlemanly smile.

"Tell me the specifics first."

Sophia slowly began, "He is five years old now. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. He refuses to speak to people, often daydreams, and cannot communicate with others. He is also afraid of crowded places..."

Sophia described many of the symptoms that Sam exhibited.
