In the president's office of Micro Circuit Group, Jake, unshaven and disheveled, hadn't tidied his appearance up for days.
Owen was his best brother, but now Owen had to spend the rest of his life in prison because of him.
He was feeling a bit lost.
Recent events played through his mind like a movie.
The Phoenix Group was thriving, and consequently, Micro Circuit Group's stock prices were steadily rising domestically.
On the surface, everything seemed calm and the development trend was good.

Sophia was gone, and his men still hadn't found Sophia's body.
Even though the indoor temperature was normal, warm and pleasant, Jake felt very cold. His body was cold, his heart even colder.

Micah hesitated for a long time before finally knocking on the office door.
"Come in!"

He drove all the way to the Lancaster Manor.
After Gabriel and Sophia returned to the country, Ruth went back to the Lancaster Manor. At this time, Sophia had taken the three children to the hospital to accompany Gabriel, leaving only Ruth, Betty, and a group of servants and bodyguards at home.
"Mrs. Lancaster, there's a Mr. Hughes outside to see you," a servant reported.

A Mr. Hughes, so it must be Jake.

"Where is she?"
