Chapter 88 A Soft and Cute Mama

Ethan fully agreed with Emma's words.
Sam, however, became a little anxious. "No, my daddy doesn't know."
"Then, did you tell your daddy that the bad woman locked you in a dark room?"

Sam remained silent for a while, lowering his head. Due to not speaking for a long time, his voice carried a hint of hoarseness.
"Mrs. Foster is important to my daddy, and I don't want to make things difficult for him."

In an instant, Ethan and Emma understood. Just like how they didn't want mama to be unhappy, for Sam, the bad father was everything to him.

"But if you don't say anything, the bad woman will continue to bully you," Emma pursed her lips and mentally cursed the bad father several times.

The bad father must not love Sam, otherwise, how could he not notice the bad woman hurting Sam?
Sam shook his head. "I'll be fine."

As long as he listens to Mrs. Foster and keeps his heart closed, she won't do anything to him.
He was careless this time, letting Mrs. Foster know that he made friends.
Thinking of this, Sam grew even more worried about Ethan and Emma.
"We should meet less in the future."

Ethan and Emma looked at him in shock, unable to understand.
"Why?" they asked

"I don't want you to get hurt because of me."
"Don't worry, we're smart. Last time, we taught the bad woman a lesson, and she still doesn't know it was us," Emma wasn't afraid of the bad woman.

"We need to be careful when we meet in the future," Ethan, on the other hand, worried that the bad woman would hurt Sam again.
Sam didn't want to lose these friends, so he thought that when he returned, he would be even more careful in hiding his emotions, so Mrs. Foster wouldn't notice anything.

Ethan and Emma happily played games with Sam, while Tiffany in the amusement park was truly panicking.
When she guided the staff to the construction site, the door to the utility room was wide open, already empty, and the stick she had inserted was lying on the ground unbroken.
Did it slip out?

She couldn't think about it too much; Tiffany was really looking for Sam this time.
Unfortunately, Sam had already left the amusement park.

The staff had no choice but to advise Tiffany to report to the police.
Tiffany's face turned slightly pale. Considering how much Gabriel currently valued Sam, would he forgive her if she lost Sam? Would she still have a chance to marry Gabriel?
Tiffany didn't dare to gamble.

She could only call Gabriel, crying and telling him, "Gabriel, Sam... sob, he's gone."

"What do you mean he's gone?" Gabriel's cold and stern voice came through.
"We got separated at the amusement park, and I couldn't find him after searching for a long time," Tiffany cried, unable to speak a complete sentence anymore.

Gabriel quickly rushed over, even before Tiffany, fearing Gabriel's level of concern for Sam, if she lost Sam, would he forgive her? Would she still have a chance to marry Gabriel?
Tiffany didn't dare to gamble.

There's also a police officer.
The amusement park has already retrieved the surveillance footage from this time period. From the footage, they only saw Tiffany walking south with Sam, entering a blind spot where there was a bumper car ride. Shortly after, Tiffany went to buy water for Sam, and when she came back, she panicked and started looking for the park staff.

Tiffany explained with a choked voice, "Sam wanted to play the bumper cars, but then he said he wanted water. So I went to buy it for him, and when I came back, he was gone."

They didn't see Sam appear again on the surveillance footage, which means he might have been in that area the whole time. But now they've turned everything upside down there and still can't find him.
There's only one possibility then.

Sam has been kidnapped!
Gabriel's eyes turned crimson as he stared at the surveillance screen, watching it over and over again.
Tiffany cried anxiously on the side.

"If something happens to Sam, I don't want to live anymore."
Upon hearing these words, Gabriel's handsome face, already tense and frosty, grew even colder as he sternly commanded, "Shut up!"
Tiffany froze.

Gabriel... He had never scolded her so severely before, this was the first time!
For the sake of a despicable brat, Gabriel was becoming increasingly cruel to her.
Tiffany lowered her head; in this moment, she only wished for that brat to disappear forever, never to appear again.

...

After finishing work, Sophia came back home carrying groceries, and she heard a burst of laughter and joy. Her eyebrows raised slightly.
Looks like the kids had a great time today.

She almost didn't have the heart to scold them.
Today, the teacher suddenly called and said Ethan had gone missing. She rushed to the hospital in panic, only to find out that Ethan had returned home, so she kept apologizing to the teacher.

It felt like going back to the days in M country, where the two kids would always get into trouble at kindergarten, and she had to clean up after them.
Every time she wanted to scold them, Emma would pitifully act coquettish, and Ethan would obediently lower his head, making her unable to say anything harsh.

The two children knew that she was easy-going and lenient, so they kept repeating their mistakes.
That's why this time, she had to be firm and properly educate them.

Otherwise, if they were "missing" again, the kindergarten wouldn't want to take them anymore.
Being rejected by the kindergarten would be too embarrassing.

"Mummy~"
Sophia's determination was broken by this soft and adorable "mummy."
Emma rushed over and hugged her tightly.

"Mummy, mummy, I was very good today."
Sophia snorted, "You were good, but your brother wasn't."
Ethan happily pulled Sam over.
"Mummy, look, I brought a friend."

"Sam!" Sophia's heart, hardened for discipline, instantly crumbled. She walked up to him with excitement, hugging little Sam and trembling with an excited heart.
"Oh, mummy, do you know each other?" Emma playfully asked with a cute look of curiosity.

Ethan also showed a surprised expression.
"Sam, how did you end up here?" Now, Sophia couldn't put on any serious expression.

Sam played with Ethan and Emma until they were slightly sweaty, their cheeks flushed like tempting strawberries, making people want to take a bite.

Pointing, Sam gestured, "I got lost outside and met him."

He pointed at Ethan.

This was the alibi that Ethan and Sam had agreed upon.

Unexpectedly, the three little ones became acquainted in this way.

The last time they met briefly during their vacation, they didn't have a chance to truly get to know each other before returning to City B.

Seeing that the three little ones seemed to get along well, Sophia felt relieved and now answered Emma's earlier question.

"The child Mommy told you about last time is Sam."

"Wow, we're really fated to be with Sam," Emma sighed.

"Do you know what fate is?" Sophia poked the little one's nose gently.

Emma replied earnestly, "Of course I do. It's what they say in TV dramas."

Sophia couldn't help but chuckle. Any form of education had been thrown to the side long ago. She stood up and took the vegetables Ethan had picked up from the ground. "I'll go cook for you all."

Sam couldn't help but secretly hope to taste Aunt Sophia's cooking again.

But... it was already so late. Should he let his dad know?

"Sam, let's play with this," Emma pulled Sam to play with building blocks.

Sam's attention was quickly diverted, and he forgot to let his dad know.
