Chapter 330 Paul

Daisy walked down the stairs gracefully.
"Mr. Waston."
Aragorn's expression softened slightly when facing Daisy.
"How's your father been lately? It's been a long time since we last met. When can we find some time and have a meal together as two families?"
Daisy's eyes lit up.
"Sure, I'll call my parents in a bit and ask when they're available."
"Oh, also ask your uncle."
"Alright."
Whenever Aragorn mentioned her uncle, Daisy always had a complex feeling inside.
During the gathering, Aragorn always wanted to invite her uncle as well.
Simply because he was the most powerful and influential person in the Wolf family.
Gummidge suddenly came down from upstairs in high spirits.
"Darling, Ashley is coming back."
Daisy immediately showed a joyful expression. "Really? I haven't seen Ashley in years; I wonder how she's been."
"She said she just got off the plane and will be home soon."
It had been a long time since Gummidge last saw Ashley.
This time, Ashley returned to the country suddenly without prior notice, and nobody knew if something had happened to her.
Josie finished her homework neatly and put her notebook in her backpack while Gummidge and Daisy chatted happily. Aragorn was watching the news. Josie didn't dare to compete for the TV with Aragorn, so she thought of going back to her room.
But Emma reminded her that her tasks had not been completed yet.
Josie went upstairs.
Daisy's room was not closed.
Emma said she could check Daisy's bed for any hair.
"What are you doing?"
A stern voice suddenly came, startling Josie, freezing her in place.
Aragorn's probing gaze swept over Josie.
As Josie grew older, she became more cunning, her eyes darting around, clearly not very honest.
Just like Caroline, very scheming!
If it weren't for Daisy's willingness to accept her, Aragorn would have definitely sent Josie far away.
Josie's hands trembled uncontrollably; she was terrified of Aragorn. Aragorn didn't like her; he was very serious, and even a casual remark from him made her feel fearful.
"I..."
"Nicholas, you're back."
Daisy's joyful voice came from downstairs, and Aragorn gave Josie a cold glance.
"Go downstairs."
Josie silently followed Aragorn downstairs.
Today, Nicholas got off work on time, changed his shoes at the entrance, and Daisy greeted him happily.
"Nicholas, Ashley is coming back."
Nicholas had anticipated this, so he didn't show much emotion.
"What about Josie?" he asked,
Daisy looked around and saw Josie following Aragorn downstairs, so she quickly pulled Josie over.
"Dad," Josie called softly,
Nicholas keenly noticed that Josie's emotions seemed off, as if she had just been frightened.
His inquisitive gaze involuntarily fell on Daisy.
That day, Emma mentioned that Josie only had one Barbie doll, so when Nicholas came back, he went to Josie's room to check. All the gifts he had given Josie were gone.
He questioned Daisy, who claimed that Josie didn't like them and gave them away.
Josie confirmed this was true.
"Nicholas, I'll push you," Daisy said, glancing at Charles, who stepped aside.
Daisy pushed Nicholas inside.
Ten minutes later, Ashley arrived home.
As soon as she entered the house, Ashley hugged Gummidge and burst into tears.
This greatly alarmed Aragorn and Gummidge, who quickly asked what had happened.
Ashley cried. "It's because of my son Paul, that idiot got involved with the wrong people. His father asked him to make amends, but he refused and secretly ran back to the country."
"What? Where is Paul now? Why isn't he coming home?" Gummidge asked,
"If I knew, I wouldn't have come back," Ashley replied,
"Nicholas, Daisy, you must help me find Paul. If this matter isn't resolved, our family's business will be ruined."
"Don't worry, the priority is to find Paul," Aragorn said,
Caroline came out of the hospital, ready to go home and enjoy the meal Sophia had prepared.
Not far away, a group of pedestrians was making a lot of noise, and Caroline didn't like crowds, so she hurriedly tried to avoid the commotion.
"Caroline!"
It sounded like someone was calling her.
Caroline thought she misheard and continued walking.
"Caroline, Caroline, don't go."
This time, the voice was more heart-wrenching, but Caroline heard it clearly.
Someone was calling her!
Caroline turned around, and the crowd made way for her to see a young man being held by the leg, his face contorted in pain.
Paul Watson!
"Caroline, help me!"
Paul reached out to Caroline, his eyes filled with earnest pleading.
Caroline remained silent.
She didn't want to get involved, so she turned to leave.
"Caroline!" Paul's voice became even more desperate. "You can't just stand by; I'm your dear brother!"
Paul felt he was having a stroke of bad luck. After helping an elderly lady who had been knocked down, he ended up being accused by her!
Paul thought he was just too good-looking and appeared easy to bully.
"Caroline, have mercy on your dear brother."
Caroline clenched her fists silently, then turned back in anger.
She stared at Paul.
It had to be said that the Watson family's genes were excellent. Even with his face twisted in pain, Paul still looked good, attracting several girls around him to blow kisses.
"What's going on?" Caroline asked coldly,
Paul smiled and pointed to the elderly lady sitting on the ground, holding onto her leg.
"She's accusing me."
The lady said, "He scattered all my bones. I'm telling you, if you don't compensate me, don't think about leaving."
"Is your family bankrupt?" Caroline was speechless.
"No, I actually hope we go bankrupt." Paul laughed. "But if I go bankrupt, my parents won't give me money. Caroline, lend me some money to compensate the lady, and I'll pay you back another day."
"You can ask Nicholas."
"Caroline, please." Paul put on a pitiful expression.
For a moment, this pitiful and aggrieved look touched the hearts of several girls, and they all wanted to take out their wallets to rescue the handsome guy.
"Then let's call the police." Caroline took out her phone to call.
"No, you can't call the police!" Paul snatched the phone. "Caroline, lend me the money first; I'll pay you back immediately."
"My back hurts; this jerk hit me and wants to run, heartless!" The lady started crying again, her cries piercingly sharp.
Paul clasped his hands together. "Please, Caroline, you're my family. Once I have money, I'll definitely use it to honor you."
Caroline reluctantly took out some money.
The lady demanded. "Compensate me with five thousand! If you don't have five thousand dollars, don't even think about leaving!"
Caroline was exasperated and went to grab her phone back. "I have to call the police; it's a must."
"No, it's five thousand or nothing. Caroline, I'm begging you." Paul even resorted to acting cute.
