Chapter 346 Recording

Tiffany called Gabriel, She cried so desperate that Gabriel would have rushed to save her in great anxiety in the past. But this time, Gabriel had not shown up yet, not even a word of concern.

Tiffany's heart felt like it was burning, aching intensely. If Gabriel didn't come, then what was he doing? Was he with Sophia? She had completely lost Gabriel; why? How did she lose him in the first place?

Tiffany sat there blankly, countless images and thoughts flashing through her mind. The door of the ward was knocked, but she seemed oblivious. After knocking for a while, the person couldn't wait any longer and entered without waiting for Tiffany's response. "Miss Foster, I am Mr. Randall's lawyer."

Tiffany's eyes flickered, her mouth dry and pale. Any movement would tug at the wound on her lip, causing a sharp pain that made her gasp for breath.

"If you're not comfortable speaking, you don't have to. I'm just here to convey Mr. Randall's message. Mr. Randall is now in legal trouble, and he wants you to help him get out of it. He said if you don't help, he'll have to find someone else who can, like Ms. Kelly or Mr. Lancaster."

Tiffany was furious, but the pain made her want to scream with any movement.

"Get out!" she shouted with all her might.

The lawyer was taken aback. "Alright, I'll relay your message to Mr. Randall," he said, quickly gathering his things and leaving.

Tiffany's eyes welled up with tears from the pain. Everyone wanted her help, but she no longer had the influence she once had. News of Tiffany's breakup with Gabriel spread quickly, and everyone looked down on her and mocked her. No one was willing to help her anymore.

Even Tiffany's assets were gradually diminishing. Tiffany needed money for every step of dealing with Sophia. But ever since Tiffany's counseling room closed, her income had taken a significant hit.

In the past, she might have helped Randall, but now she had her own problems to deal with. And this time, Tiffany knew it was Gabriel who had gone after Randall.

Tiffany closed her eyes. She needed to rest well to continue the fight. With Mason arrested now, the evidence was solid this time. If she didn't settle, Mason would be in prison for sure.

Tiffany took out her phone and messaged Gabriel.

Tiffany: [Gabriel, I want to see you. I'm alone in the hospital, in a lot of pain.]

Tiffany: [Gabriel, this time I won't be soft-hearted. I make sure Mason goes to jail. Will you help me, right?]

Tiffany: [If Mason says anything strange to you, don't believe him. He can say anything to defame me.]

Gabriel came out of the shower, saw his phone vibrating continuously, glanced at it, and then put it back down. He had read Tiffany's messages but hadn't replied.

The next day, Gabriel went to the prison on the outskirts of City B. He met the thugs who had kidnapped Emma. The thugs were tough and didn't answer any of Gabriel's questions.

Only one of them, upon hearing Gabriel's question, excitedly said, "I know Miss Foster. Raskolnikov introduced us to Miss Foster, and she's been very kind to us. Whenever we couldn't afford a meal, she would give us money. Miss Foster has nothing to do with this. She had no idea about our plans, and she often advised us to stop our bad ways and even tried to find us jobs."

To them, Tiffany was like their savior.

Gabriel's sharp gaze fell on the thug, scrutinizing him from head to toe, unable to detect any trace of lies.

Had he been mistaken?

Leaving the prison, Gabriel received a voicemail on his phone. At the same time, Sophia also received a voicemail. In the conversation, Sophia recognized Tiffany's voice, and the man's voice sounded familiar.

Tiffany: [Anyway, you have no bottom line, so it doesn't matter whether the other party is beautiful or not.]

Man: [It's even better if she's pretty. It's more fun for me to play with her.]

Tiffany: [As long as you ruin her, I will reward you handsomely.]

Man: [Does Sophia have any grudges against you?]

Tiffany: [You don't need to worry about that. Just remember to film it when you strike.]

Sophia listened to the entire recording with her headphones, and halfway through, she remembered that it was Randall's voice. She gripped her phone tightly. So, was Randall instructed by Tiffany from the beginning? Sophia could hardly imagine what would have happened if Randall had succeeded back then. Would her reputation have been ruined? Would Randall have threatened her for a long time? And what about her children?

Randall's infamous reputation made Sophia think that Tiffany was not involved in the background, but she only blamed herself for attracting Randall's attention. The more Sophia thought, the paler her face became.

Meanwhile, Gabriel played the recording in the car, and Alex, who was driving, heard it all.

Alex gasped, finding it hard to believe. Tiffany had done something so cruel and heartless!

Gabriel's face turned dark and serious, containing his anger. "Go to the hospital and see Tiffany!"

Alex said, "Yes!"

Tiffany hadn't expected Gabriel actually to come to see her. All the messages she had sent last night weren't in vain. Gabriel still cared about her.

Tiffany smiled happily, but the pain made her face contort, and she quickly covered it. "Gabriel, turn around, don't look."

Gabriel stared coldly at Tiffany from above. He took out his phone and played the recording. As soon as Tiffany heard the first sentence, she froze. By the second sentence, she no longer felt the pain. By the third, she felt a sense of panic.

Tiffany never expected Randall to have recorded their conversation! That cunning and deceitful man! Tiffany covered her face, thinking about how to respond.

After the recording finished playing, Gabriel waited quietly to see how Tiffany would explain.

Tiffany let go of her hands, tears streaming down her face like broken beads.

She said, "I knew I couldn't hide it from you." Tiffany cried, ignoring the pain on her face, crying in agony.

"Gabriel, do you remember the White family's party a year ago? You said you didn't have time to go, so I went alone. I didn't expect Randall to try to harm me that day. He was aware of my relationship with you. Nonetheless, he surreptitiously spiked my beverage when I was not vigilant. Fortunately, I noticed it quickly and publicly scolded Randall, humiliating him. Since then, he has held a grudge against me.

"Randall has been harassing me from time to time, but I didn't dare tell you. I was afraid of causing trouble for you.Gabriel, this recording is fake. I didn't ask Randall to harm Sophia.

"Randall must have found someone who sounds like me to fabricate this."

Tiffany looked scared as she talked about how Randall had almost persecuted her.

She pitifully grabbed Gabriel's hand.
