Chapter 207 A Suspicious Mark
Harrison had helped her out of trouble and even arranged this suite for her to rest.
Later, she fell asleep and remembered nothing.
Everything that happened last night, she even thought it was all a dream.
She never imagined that she could avoid the disgusting greasy men from the investors, but not the clutches of the playboy Harrison.
At this moment, Noah's heart was in turmoil.
So was Harrison's.
Of all the women, it had to be Noah.
Noah was his previous blind date, both of them were forced by their parents to meet. The first time they met, they didn't like each other. After they each went home and told their parents, they were bombarded by their parents and finally added each other on Whatsapp, but they barely chatted.
The second time they met was when Noah was doing promotional activities and Harrison was on a business trip. When their parents found out that they were in the same place, it was another bombardment, and the two were forced to meet again.
The third time they met, they agreed to fight against the marriage pressure from their families together, reaching a consensus to pretend to be a couple in name only to fool their families.
Now, just after telling their families that they were "together", this accident happened.
Harrison wondered, how did he end up here last night?
His last memory was of Alex taking him back to his room, and then he gave his room card to Alex.
Harrison stood under the shower and rinsed himself from head to toe, his mind becoming clearer.
He couldn't have such a poor tolerance for alcohol, and he wouldn't be able to do that when he was drunk.
His intuition told him that something was very wrong last night.
He was likely to have been set up!
A trace of fierceness flashed across Harrison's usually gentle face.
He didn't know if this was a business conspiracy or personal grudge.
Noah took a bath in the bathroom outside, her clothes were all unwearable, so she had to sit on the sofa in the living room wearing a bathrobe. Her stunning face was expressionless, her eyes like colored glaze staring coldly at a certain place.
Hearing the noise, Noah spoke in a cold voice, "I'll treat last night as if I was bitten by a dog. Don't think about taking advantage of the situation to do anything else. And, our agreement is void."
Harrison was stunned.
Was she calling him a dog?
Well, let it be. After all, she was also a "victim".
"Last night was an accident, I will definitely not touch you again. Besides, you're not my type." Harrison wiped his wet hair, walked elegantly over, and sat down across from her.
"As for the agreement, if you want to void it, that's fine by me."
Noah looked at his calm and breezy appearance, and her heart filled with anger, her eyes spitting fire.
"And if you dare to say a word about last night, I'll make you regret it."
Harrison felt a sudden chill.
"Ding dong," the doorbell rang.
Noah immediately looked at the door with vigilance.
As a star, she had to be cautious.
Last night she was persuaded to drink a lot, and it was only after she was drunk that she followed Harrison's arrangement and stayed here, thinking it would be safe, but... thinking about it now, she regretted it.
Harrison walked over and looked through the peephole.
"Don't worry, it's not a paparazzi."
He opened the door, then came in with a set of clothes and handed it to her.
"Here, change your clothes, let your assistant come to the hotel side door, I've taken care of it, no one will find out. I'll leave half an hour after you're gone."
Noah pursed her red lips, suspiciously looking at Harrison.
"If you don't want to, that's fine. But don't blame me if you get caught by the paparazzi later."
Harrison put down the clothes.
In the end, Noah followed his arrangement. After her assistant arrived at the side door, she put on a hat and mask, wrapped herself up tightly, and left from the side door.
"Noah, I just saw someone who looked a lot like you. I thought you took the wrong way and almost chased after her." The assistant said as she drove, "I also saw a paparazzi following her. Luckily, I noticed that it wasn't you."
Noah was stunned.
Harrison actually arranged this, finding someone to impersonate her and lead away the lurking paparazzi, then let her come down. The timing was just right, she wouldn't be found out.
Noah had a complex feeling in her heart, but when she thought of last night, her face cooled down. Sitting in the back seat, she was a perfect cold beauty.
...
Sophia stared at the unfamiliar yet attractive ceiling, her eyes darting around to take in her surroundings. The cool-toned decor suggested it was a man's abode. Sophia lifted the covers, inspecting her attire... wait, these weren't her clothes! She was shockingly dressed in a set of men's pajamas. The sleepwear was too long and too large, hanging loosely on her frame. Standing on the floor, the hem of the pants dragged, and the sleeves covered her hands. Panic set in as she looked around.
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Sophia locked eyes with Caroline. "Caroline, why are you here? Where is this?" Sophia was frantic.
"This is Gabriel's apartment. You got drunk last night and he brought you here. I've been watching over you all night."
So, it was Gabriel's apartment. No wonder there was a familiar scent. Sophia's expression darkened instantly. "Are the clothes I'm wearing his?"
Caroline glanced at her and nodded.
"Where are my clothes?"
"They're still in the dryer."
"Where's Gabriel?"
"He left last night."
Sophia's mind was a mess. She didn't know what had happened. All she remembered was feeling dizzy, then Charlotte helping her downstairs. She had called for a ride to go home. How did she end up in Gabriel's apartment?
"Caroline," Sophia felt like crying. What on earth had she gotten herself into? The last time something like this happened, it was Randall's doing. And this time? The same trick was played on her twice, and both times she encountered Gabriel.
"Don't worry, nothing happened. When we found you, you were with Gabriel."
Sophia entered the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. Suddenly, she noticed a suspicious mark on her neck. Sophia pulled down her collar to get a better look, and gasped, her body trembling. So, something did happen last night? Did she and Gabriel...? There was a faint soreness in several parts of her body.
Something in Sophia's mind snapped. She remembered feeling hot all over, then someone appeared. She clung to that person, but he was rough, throwing her into the water, nearly drowning her. After that... she had no recollection. She even thought all of it was a strange dream.
Sophia changed into her own clothes, and hurriedly left with Caroline to the hospital. Caroline followed her, confused, until she went to the gynecology department and underwent a series of tests.
"Sophia."
Sophia managed a smile. The doctor said she hadn't been violated, that nothing had happened between her and Gabriel.
"It's okay now, let's go home. The kids must be worried."
Seeing Sophia back to her usual self, Caroline breathed a sigh of relief.
