Chapter 302 Running Away with Mommy
The next day, Sophia came out of the room and saw Jake sleeping on the sofa. She went back to get a thin blanket to cover Jake.
Seeing the cold soup in the kitchen, Sophia put on an apron and made two breakfasts again.
Jake woke up to the noise in the kitchen.
Seeing that Sophia was okay, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Jake greeted, "Kelly, good morning."
Sophia turned to him with a smile.
She greeted back, "Morning."
Jake remarked, "I was so worried about you last night, so I stayed. You didn't even close the back door when you came in, it scared me. What if a bad person came in?"
Sophia smiled, and said, "Thank you, I was just having a hard time accepting it yesterday."
"I know; do you need any help?" Jake replied as he walked into the kitchen.
Sophia replied, "It's all done, let's eat together."
Seeing that Sophia seemed to have accepted the outcome of the trial, Jake left after breakfast feeling relieved.
As soon as he left, Sophia took a shower, changed clothes, and went out.
She went to Lancaster.
She swiped her card and went straight to the general office.
Gabriel was getting ready to attend the morning meeting when he met Sophia at the office door.
Sophia stared at him coldly, but the next second, she bent her knees and knelt abruptly.
Gabriel quickly reacted, holding her up and pulling her up.
Sophia grabbed his arms.
She begged. "Please, give me back my child."
Gabriel tightened the hand holding her arm, and Sophia felt a hint of pain.
Everyone around was watching them.
Gabriel gave Alex a look, then pulled Sophia into the office.
Gabriel scoffed. "Sophia, are you taking yourself too seriously?"
Having a good time with Jake last night, now pretending to beg him to see the child.
Sophia was stung by his words and pushed him away abruptly.
She replied, "Yes, I am taking myself too seriously. That's why I came to beg you. Your heart is made of stone, no matter how hard I try, I can't warm it up."
She was so confused, running to beg him.
Sophia couldn't bear it anymore, and while Gabriel was still not reacting, she grabbed his arm and bit him hard.
She bit with all her might, almost concentrating all her anger on her teeth, biting hard until the taste of blood came.
Tears welled up in Sophia's eyes, tears filled with hatred.
Sophia declared, "I won't give up, I will continue to appeal!"
With those words, Sophia angrily kicked him before running out of the office.
Everyone in the secretary's department saw Sophia running away sadly with her head down.
Tiffany bit her lip, got up, and walked in.
Tiffany said, "Gabriel, your hand."
Gabriel was wearing a white shirt today, without a jacket in the office, and the pristine sleeves were stained with a little blood.
Tiffany was panicked.
She asked frantically, "Where is the first aid kit?
"Is this done by Sophia?
"Gabriel, does it hurt?"
Gabriel brushed off Tiffany's hand and said indifferently, "You go out first."
Tiffany said hesitantly, "But your hand."
Gabriel ordered, impatiently, "Get out!"
Tiffany felt wronged; she was just caring for him.
Now Gabriel was becoming increasingly impatient with her.
In the past, even if she cared for Gabriel, he would gently tell her not to do so in the future even if he didn't like it.
But now he just told her to leave.
Unable to bear the injustice, Tiffany covered her face and ran out.
People in the secretary's department peeked their heads out, gossiping.
Just as Sophia ran away, now Tiffany ran away.

Did the boss and Sophia have an affair that Miss Foster found out about?

He suddenly stood up and walked out.
"Boss!" Alex called out to him.
Gabriel paid no attention to anyone.
Alex quickly said to everyone, "Meeting adjourned."
Everyone looked at each other.
What's wrong with the boss?
This is so unusual.
Alex followed him.
An hour later, at the boxing gym, Alex was knocked down by Gabriel, who was also exhausted and lying on the mat.
Gabriel asked, "Tell me, did I really do something wrong?"
Alex replied in surprise, "What?"
He was completely stunned; the boss was unusually brutal today!
Gabriel immediately stood up again and started punching the punching bag on the side.
Outside the hospital, Sophia held Caroline and cried again.
Caroline felt sorry for her.
Caroline said, "Sophia, Gabriel asked me to teach Emma, and I agreed. Tomorrow I will go to the Lancaster family to see the children on your behalf."
Sophia immediately stopped crying and looked up with tears in her eyes.
Sophia said, with a glimmer of hope, "Really?"
Caroline smiled, and assured, "At critical moments, my violin skills come in handy."
Sophia grabbed Caroline.
Sophia excitedly said, "When you go, bring some snacks for them. Emma loves to eat, I made clothes for the new season, bring them over, and tell them not to resist in a self-harming way, they must patiently wait for me to come and get them."
Caroline replied, "Okay."
The next day, Caroline took the things for the children to the Lancaster family.
The children were happy to see their godmother but also felt aggrieved.
Emma lay in her godmother's arms.
Emma said, "I miss mommy, godmother, is mommy okay?"
Caroline replied, "She's fine, she said she will come to pick you up soon."
Emma asked, a bit frustrated, "How soon is soon? We've been waiting for a long time, and mommy hasn't come."
Ethan asked, "Godmother, can you take us to see mommy?"
He noticed that since yesterday, some of the bodyguards arranged by the bad dad seemed to have left, but he still couldn't contact mommy.
Caroline initially wanted to convey Sophia's message for them to wait, but then she thought.
Why couldn't she just take them out to see Sophia directly?
How long has it been since Sophia saw the children?

After Emma's hour-long violin lesson, it was almost time, and Caroline left.
But she didn't drive far away.
Instead, she stopped at the place Ethan had agreed upon.
These days, Ethan couldn't leave Lancaster family, but he had surveyed the terrain inside Lancaster family thoroughly.
Ethan, with Emma and Sam, crawled through a dog hole, passed through a small forest, and reached the main road.
The godmother's car was waiting there.
As soon as they got in the car, Ethan said, "Godmother, buy us tickets back to the M country. We want to go back to M country."
He wanted to run away with mommy!
Never to see the bad dad again.
"Buying tickets will alert your dad and he will find out," she replied, Caroline's heart pounded.
It was the first time she had done something like this, and she was a bit nervous, but she was determined to reunite the children with Sophia.
