Chapter 86 Saving Sam
"Great, if things continue like this, Sam will recover soon. How about we take him to the amusement park tomorrow while the iron is hot?" Tiffany suggested happily.
Gabriel was a bit concerned. "I have an important meeting tomorrow."
"In that case, I'll take him myself."
Tiffany had taken Sam out alone before, and now that Sam's condition had improved, Gabriel agreed.
It would be better for him to have more exposure to the outside world.
After dinner, Gabriel dropped Tiffany off. She had a luxurious apartment in the city center, and Gabriel paid two-thirds of the rent while the remaining one-third was earned from her own studio.
Usually, when Gabriel went back to his old house, she would stay in her own apartment.
When they got out of the car, Tiffany wanted to invite Gabriel up for a drink, but he could see her intentions. However, he couldn't fulfill her wishes anymore. It was getting late, and he had to return to his old house.
Tiffany reluctantly watched Gabriel's car drive away. Soon, her expression turned grim, and she took out her phone to call Alfred.
"Gabriel didn't give that bastard any medicine. What's more, that little bastard even secretly made friends. It seems like his condition has improved a lot."
"I told you earlier. Gabriel can't be deceived so easily. I almost got caught by him at the hospital," Alfred recalled the feeling of Gabriel's eyes staring at him, and it sent shivers down his spine.
Fortunately, he had a good reputation in the industry and had been responsible for so many years. Gabriel still trusted him.
"Tomorrow, I'll take the brat to the amusement park. If anything happens afterward, make it sound serious. You must make Gabriel agree to give the brat the medicine."
That medicine with the most severe side effects. If that little brat insisted on taking it for more than six months, his health would undoubtedly be affected, and no amount of treatment would help.
Only by gradually breaking down the brat's body would Gabriel lose hope and agree to have another healthy child with her.
Getting rid of the brat was her first step, and the second step was Sophia. She wanted her to roll back to M Country.
Tiffany's ambition and scheming grew infinitely in the dark night.
The next day, Sam had a good day at kindergarten when Tiffany suddenly came to pick him up, saying she wanted to take him to the amusement park.
Sam had no resistance or awareness in front of Tiffany. Even if he didn't want to go, he dared not refuse.
Tiffany smoothly took Sam out.
"Sam, why didn't you tell Auntie that you made friends?"
Sam shivered all over, and his fear was amplified infinitely in his heart.
Would Mrs. Foster harm Ethan and Emma once she found out about them?
"Do you want to invite your friend to come out, and Auntie will take you both to the amusement park?"
Sam remained expressionless and silent, as quiet as a robot.
Tiffany glanced at him, feeling a surge of anger inside her.
The little brat, is it only in front of her that he looks so dead? Otherwise, Gabriel wouldn't say his condition has improved.
The little brat has learned to deal with her. In that case, she'll give the little brat a small lesson.
During the working day, it was indeed less crowded at the amusement park. Tiffany bought tickets and took Sam inside.
She first took Sam to play on the carousel.
She lifted Sam onto it and let him play alone. Sam tightly held onto the carousel, his face gradually turning pale, afraid to make a sound.
The staff found it strange and approached Tiffany.
But Tiffany said, "I'm training him to overcome fear, it's alright. He'll be fine in a moment."
The staff didn't say anything more.
After a while, it was over. Tiffany personally lifted Sam down and hugged him, comforting him softly.
"See, there's nothing to be afraid of."
Sam felt his stomach burning, but he desperately held it in, afraid to vomit.
Tiffany hugged Sam and comforted him for several minutes. To others, it just seemed like a mother patiently soothing her child.
After about ten minutes, Tiffany panicked and looked for the staff.
"I've lost my son, please help me find him quickly."
Children getting lost from their parents at the amusement park happened frequently, so the staff immediately took action to help find him.
Considering there were fewer people at the amusement park now, he should have been easier to find.
But for some reason, they couldn't find him.
Ethan, who was about to die of boredom at kindergarten, suddenly felt his phone watch vibrating in his hand. He knew there were very few people who had his contact information, and his mommy wouldn't contact him at this time.
It could only be... Sam!
Ethan glanced at it and indeed, it was a call from Sam.
He answered it quietly.
"Ethan, help me..."
Sam's weak and fearful voice came through, and Ethan's pupils suddenly contracted.
"Where are you?"
The call suddenly cut off.
Emma was feeding ants with bread when Ethan rushed over.
"We need to save Sam quickly, he's in danger."
Sam was about to rush outside towards the kindergarten, but the observant teacher stopped them.
Emma was so worried she was on the verge of tears.
"We need to save someone, teacher, please let us go outside."
"You're so young, what can you save? Be good and wait until school is over, then you can go home." The teacher thought they were just missing their homes and moms.
Ethan had calmed down now, but he still didn't know where Sam was. He had to find Sam's location first.
He pulled Emma back to the classroom.
After class, he found an excuse to sneak out of the classroom, then went into the teacher's office and secretly used the teacher's computer to search for Sam's address.
He saw on the surveillance footage that the bad woman had taken Sam from the kindergarten.
Ethan hurriedly operated the computer, and finally found out that the bad woman had taken Sam to an amusement park.
He quickly returned to the classroom to tell Emma.
However, it seemed like the teacher was unusually attentive to them today. In the end, Ethan pretended to be sick,
The teacher sent him to the hospital and informed Sophia at the same time.
When Ethan arrived at the hospital, he took the opportunity when the teacher and the doctor were not paying attention, and slipped away.
The amusement park was still searching for someone, but Ethan rushed straight to the south where the construction was taking place. There was a small storage room there.
No visitors were allowed in this area, and the construction site was temporarily halted, so there was no one around. When Ethan got closer, he could hear faint cries from inside.
The storage room was wedged shut from the outside with a stick, and with Sam's strength, he couldn't open it from the inside.
Ethan forcefully pulled the stick off and opened the door. The light illuminated the pitch-black room.
"Sam." Ethan rushed inside.
Sam lifted his head from his knees, and the moment he saw Ethan, it was as if he had seen a little sun, shining directly into his heart.
Ethan helped Sam up from the ground.
"Are you hurt?"Ethan asked
Tears Sam's face, and his lips were pale. He gently shook his head.
The fear in his heart slowly dissipated with Ethan's arrival.
"Did the bad lady lock you in here?"
Sam pondered whether he could tell Ethan, and whether doing so would harm him.
Ethan immediately perceived Sam's concern.
"Don't worry, I'm not afraid of that bad lady. Now, I'll take you away quietly. Come home with me first, and I'll protect you."
