Chapter 118 Grand Confession by Drone

The video she posted on Twitter only showed her hands playing the instrument, and she wore a mask throughout the dance.

In reality, it was the first time she was recognized by fans.

Nathan chuckled. As the traffic light turned green, he started the car.

Lillian urged, "Come on! Are you a fake fan?"

"I'm a loyal fan! I've watched every one of your dance videos at least a hundred times. The last time I saw you on a motorcycle, I thought your figure looked familiar. But it was dark that day, so I didn't dare to confirm. There's a very tiny mole next to your right index finger, and I specifically compared it tonight, and that's how I confirmed," Nathan explained.

Lillian looked down at her hand, where the small mole was hidden between her index and middle fingers.

She was amazed that he noticed it.

Just then, a phone rang from the back seat.

It was Jeffrey's phone, and Lillian leaned over to pick it up.

It was a call from Jackson.

Her smile faded, and she set the phone to vibrate.

But Jackson quickly called again, and Lillian reluctantly answered.

"Where are you guys?" Jackson's voice was heavy and displeased.

Lillian replied coldly, "It's me. We're on our way back."

"Get out of the car right now. Send me the location, and I'll come pick you up!" Jackson ordered, his tone brooking no argument.

Lillian bit her lips, wondering why he was not with Wendy, especially after their romantic confession.

Why was he now looking for her and Jeffrey?

"No need, you can take Wendy. Jeffrey is already asleep," Lillian replied.

"I said get out of the car now. Lillian, don't you understand?" Jackson interrupted her, his voice filled with anger and coldness that Lillian could feel even through the phone.

She remembered how he had abandoned her in the crowd to rush towards Wendy and the twinkling lights of the drones in the sky. Her heart felt like it was slowly cracking open like a spider web.

She moved her lips with a slight breath.

"Are you cold? I'll turn on the air conditioning," Nathan's gentle and caring voice sounded in the car.

Lillian snapped back to reality. "No need to bother. Mr. Jackson, we're almost home."

She hung up the phone, silenced it, and put it back in Jeffrey's backpack.

The car fell silent for a moment, and then Lillian looked at Nathan. "Did you speak out on purpose while I was on the call just now??"

"Yeah, it was intentional." Nathan admitted so straightforwardly that Lillian couldn't stay mad.

But Nathan cautiously asked, "Are you angry?"

With his peach blossom eyes and innocent, careful gaze, he looked like a big puppy.

Lillian couldn't help but say, "Just focus on driving! Look ahead!"

"Okay." Nathan immediately turned his head back to the front and adjusted his posture, looking very obedient.

But he wasn't as naive and silly as he appeared.

At the amusement park parking lot.

"Jackson, would you be able to escort me back? I have just been startled, and at the moment, my stomach feels uneasy with a persistent pain. I am somewhat frightened. Only when you accompany me, I can feel at ease." Wendy said.

Wendy had been sent to the back seat after being knocked down and stepped on by the crowd.

Terry was about to close the car door, but Wendy hesitated and looked outside at Jackson.

Jackson stood tall and straight in the night. His handsome face was cold as ice, exuding an aura that kept others at bay, yet dangerously attractive.

Wendy saw him making a call, guessing he had argued with Lillian. This was the perfect opportunity for her to intervene.

It was worth it for her to spend thirty thousand dollars on the customized drone show she saw on the way to the amusement park.
