Chapter 365 Revenge

Lillian froze as Jackson turned sideways, using his broad back to completely shield her.

His kiss softened with a feeling of comfort.

The footsteps receded, and Lillian's body went limp, sliding down the wall.

Jackson grabbed her by the waist, pulling her tightly into his embrace as if to merge her into his very being. His chin rested on the top of her head, and he said in a deep voice, "You don't need to worry about this. What you saw with Star won't affect us at all. Just wait..."

Lillian couldn't bear to listen any longer.

She used all her strength to push Jackson away, causing him to stagger back and hit the wall.

Through gritted teeth, she said, "I don't want to listen to you anymore! I just want to leave you! Please stop interfering with my decisions and respect my choices."

With that, Lillian turned and ran away, tears streaming down her face.

"Lillian!" Jackson wanted to chase after her, but her push had hit his abdominal wound.

The pain was intense, and a cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

His face turned blanched as he clutched his abdomen, struggling to stand.

When Jackson finally managed to overcome the pain and went after her, he saw Lillian walking side by side with Ambrose in the distance.

He thought, 'So, Lillian has come with Ambrose.'

Jackson's steps halted, his face turning icy cold, a self-mocking smile playing on his lips.

"My box is just ahead. Thank you, Mr. Kelly, and I'm really sorry," Lillian said.

Lillian hadn't expected to run into Ambrose here.

She had been running too fast and had bumped into him.

Once again, Ambrose saw her in tears, making her embarrassed.

She apologized for what happened at the concert hall and for her recent rudeness.

Ambrose said gently, "I don't mind. Since you're pregnant, if you don't want a child as mischievous as a monkey, you'd better stop running around."

The first time they met, she had run on the street.

And now, again.

Lillian's face flushed with embarrassment, but his teasing tone made her laugh.

Thinking of Taylor walking around naked after being born, she couldn't help but laugh.

Ambrose looked at her, a hint of a smile on his face.

Lillian looked up and said, "My due date is still a few months away. Mr. Kelly, are you hoping I'll continue playing this pregnant role in the play to make money for you? You really are a successful capitalist, calculating everything so well."

Lillian gave Ambrose an admiring smile, sweeping away her earlier distress.

Ambrose raised an eyebrow, didn't argue, but simply nodded. "Looking forward to your performance in the play."

With that, he walked towards his box.

Lillian's smile gradually faded, but the teasing had lightened her mood.

She took a deep breath and turned to enter her box.

But then she heard a commotion from the opposite box. Lillian turned her head as the door opened.

Shirley came out, pulling Amelia along. Lillian glanced inside.

Wendy was holding a sweater, moaning as steam rose from her chest.

It was clearly Shirley's doing, throwing a cup of hot water at Wendy as she did before.

Grace was anxiously fussing over Wendy.

Nearby, Julian, presumably a guest of the Sivan family, looked visibly shocked and angry.

York was cautiously accompanying him, and the scene was chaotic.

"Lillian, run!" Shirley saw Lillian and grabbed her, and the three women fled.

Lillian was pulled along by Shirley, her right hand supporting her belly.

She thought, 'If this keeps up, I may really give birth to a child as mischievous as a monkey...'
