Chapter 419 Adara Was Exposed
Lillian was a bit taken aback. It turned out Susan had discovered Adara was a fake.
Adara rushed over, looking worriedly at Jackson. "Megan barged in and exposed me. Susan was shocked, then Wendy came in saying she's pregnant with a Price family child. Susan got so emotional she fainted."
Adara pointed at Wendy.
Jackson fixed her fierce gaze on Wendy.
Wendy felt uneasy but stood her ground.
Adara was a fake, but Wendy's baby was indeed a Price.
Wendy, supporting her back and belly, said weakly, "I came to visit Susan after her surgery. I didn't expect to find her so upset. I told her about my pregnancy to give her hope."
Wendy's face showed worry, guilt, and innocence, speaking sincerely.
But Jackson saw through her.
His eyes were cold as he said, "How dare you act on your own?"
Wendy, looking scared, stepped back.
Dominic stepped in, shielding Wendy, and told the servant, "Help Wendy rest and take care of her."
He then turned to Jackson, "We didn't tell Susan because Wendy's pregnancy was unstable. Now it's stable. Susan needs hope. If Wendy hadn't told her, I would have. Wendy meant well, don't blame her."
Wendy, helped by the servants, smiled to herself.
She knew her baby was her last card.
The Sivan family was bankrupt, and her parents were living frugally.
They accepted their fate, but Wendy wouldn't.
In Averlake, Wendy tried to seduce Jackson, but he was unyielding.
Last year, when the Sivan Group was in trouble, Wendy, desperate, ran into a drugged Henry and slept with him.
Henry wasn't as good as Jackson, but Jackson respected him. Wendy thought being a Price was still a win.
Then she got pregnant, and Henry died. But now, her baby was the only Price heir.
As for exposing Adara and upsetting Susan, Wendy planned to blame Lillian. She hoped Susan would die from anger, ruining Lillian's wedding and making Jackson hate her.
Wendy looked at Lillian with a sinister smile, making Lillian feel like she was facing a snake.
Just then, Jackson's cold voice asked Megan, "How did you find out Adara was a fake?"
