Chapter 265 Mr. Frane Was the Pursuer

At this moment, Terry was anxious for Jackson.

As an outsider, Terry felt he could see clearly that Jackson obviously cared about Lillian and valued their marriage deeply. When Lillian was still working in the president's office, Terry had several times entered to deliver documents and noticed Jackson secretly watching her from behind his desk. Sometimes, he was so engrossed that he didn't even notice Terry's presence and a silly smile would appear on his usually cold and immaculate face.

This was love indeed.

Back then, Terry had been very supportive of Jackson and the mysterious Lillian as a couple. But he didn't expect that they would stir up divorce and actually go through with it. What seemed like a regular argument ended in a real divorce.

Over thepast few days, Jackson had spoken very little, and even when he did, his words were tinged with anger because Lillian was leaving.

Terry thought Jackson was proud. If Jackson needed a stepping stone to agree to go to the airport to win back Lillian, he didn't mind being that tool.

"Mr. Frane, there are no insurmountable obstacles between a married couple. There are no major issues between you and Mrs. Frane. She just mind Ms. Sivan. If you explain it clearly to her, since she loves you so much, she definitely won't leave."

"Are you done?" Jackson looked at Terry and asked.

Seeing that Jackson had responded, Terry became energized, nodding vigorously and continuing to persuade him. "If you really let Mrs. Frane go abroad, and you don't contact each other for a month, even the deepest feelings will cool down. By the time Mrs. Frane comes back, it will really just be to go to the state court to get a divorce certificate with you."

Jackson nodded as he said, "If you're done, you can leave now."

With that, he lowered his head and continued to peruse the documents in his hand.

Terry was silent. Jackson's reaction was too indifferent. Was it his poor eloquence? Or was he not trying hard enough, lacking sincerity? Terry stubbornly stood his ground as if his feet were glued to the floor and spoke again, 'Mr. Frane, a man's pride isn't that important at a time like this! You...'

Jackson was probably thoroughly annoyed with Terry. He laughed and looked up, curling his thin lips at him as he asked, "So? Did you put aside your pride and beg your cheating fiancée to come back? Did she regret it and reconcile with you?"

Terry fell silent again. How could Jackson suddenly resort to personal attacks?

Terry looked distressed and said, "Mr. Frane, my girlfriend didn't cheat."

"Right, she just kept you as a backup," Jackson retorted.

Terry had returned from abroad and been excited to propose, but he found that his girlfriend had already printed wedding invitations with another man.

Even then, Terry had prepared a proposal ceremony, but she didn't show up. He even ended up drunk, crying outside her building.

"She just felt I was too busy, never had time for her, missed her birthday, and wasn't there when her father had a car accident," Terry said.

"If she's so wonderful, you remember to prepare a gift for her wedding next week," Jackson snorted.

Jackson sneered. How could a pursuer like Terry expect to reason with him? It was simply incomprehensible.

"Get out! The schedule remains unchanged." Jackson ordered coldly.

Terry's eyes reddened as he felt both emotionally and verbally attacked.

He mustered his courage and said, "My ex-girlfriend had her faults, but I also did something wrong, so I don't blame her. Mr. Frane, don't worry. I will sincerely bless her at her wedding next week because I haven't let go of her yet. But since she has found a better choice, I will bless her. That's my heart. But what about your heart? Are you really willing to let Mrs. Frane leave ?"

Terry finished speaking and, turned and hurriedly left before Jackson got angry.
