Chapter 139 Be Bullied

The next day.

Lillian was practicing dancing in the studio when her phone kept ringing. Lillian stopped to wipe off the sweat and picked up the phone.

It was Daisy calling. Lillian and Jackson had already signed the divorce agreement, and in Lillian's mind, Daisy had no relationship with her anymore.

She didn't want to answer, so she threw the phone aside and continued dancing.

However, the calls kept coming one after another.

Frowning, Lillian finally answered.

"Lillian, come to Golden Oaks Manor right now and take your mom away!"

Daisy's angry voice sounded, and before Lillian could ask further, she hung up directly.

Golden Oaks Manor was the residence of Martin and Daisy, located in the city.

Lillian rushed to Golden Oaks Manor and as she entered, she saw Daisy sitting on the sofa with a grim face, accompanied by Wendy who was whispering to her.

They appeared to be very intimate.

Lillian walked over and said, "What happened?"

Before she could finish her sentence, Daisy suddenly stood up, raised her hand, and splashed the water from the cup in front of her onto Lillian's face.

The water splashed all over Lillian, making her instantly embarrassed.

"Did the Franes owe you so much that you would embarrass us like this? Even after we allowed you to join the family?"

Lillian lowered her eyes. Her eyelashes were wet, so she was unable to open her eyes.

The servants here were all under Daisy's control, naturally enjoying the show and no one helped Lillian with a towel.

Wendy sat there watching, a faint smile on her lips.

"Lillian, wipe it off."

But in front of Daisy, she still had to pretend to be kind. She took a tissue and approached Lillian.

However, Lillian reached out and grabbed another teacup from the table, forcefully splashing it toward Wendy. "No need for your fake kindness!"

Daisy was so angry, and Wendy must do something with this.

Even Mary came to cause trouble, maybe it was all Wendy's doing.

As Daisy was the elder, Lillian had to endure it. But she could vent her anger toward Wendy, who insisted on coming closer.

"Ah!" Wendy was splashed all over her face, looking just as disheveled as Lillian.

She screamed, clutching her stomach, and fell on the sofa.

"Lillian!"

Seeing Wendy fall and suffer, Daisy angrily stood up, raised her hand, and swung it toward Lillian.

The water droplets on Lillian's eyelashes were about to enter her eyes, so she closed her eyes wanting to rub them.

She didn't notice Daisy's movement. Her reaction was slow, but she already felt the wind of the slap.

However, she did not feel pain.

When Lillian rubbed her eyes and looked up, she saw a familiar big hand holding Daisy's wrist, stopping the slap in mid-air.

It was Jackson.

Jackson's shirt cuffs were pure and neat, reflecting a sharp light from the metal dial.

Lillian felt like the light might pierce her eyes, making them sting, and she felt like crying even more.

"Jackson, what are you doing? Let go!" Daisy struggled in anger.

"What are you doing?" Jackson frowned, his gaze swept over Lillian's wet hair and cheeks. After seeing that she was fine, he let go of his hand.

Daisy was blocked by Jackson, feeling even more furious.

She pointed at Lillian and said, "Look at what she did! I invited a few friends over today to arrange flowers, but she deliberately called Mary to come over and cause a scene! Mary was crying at the door, saying her daughter didn't care about her and couldn't go on living! I've never been embarrassed like this in my life! If it wasn't for Wendy being there to comfort and advise me carefully, I would have had a stroke and been rushed to the emergency room by now!"
