Chapter 120 An Unwelcome Visitor

Jackson squinted his eyes as he stood there, exuding a menacing aura, like a lurking beast.
The middle-aged woman suddenly regretted being too talkative and wanted to leave quickly, but Jackson stepped down.

"What happened?" Jackson's tall figure descended the stairs, shrouded in shadows.

The middle-aged woman's face changed, wanting to run, but feeling like she was being targeted by a fierce beast. She decided to speak up, knowing that staying silent would lead to a quicker demise.

She nervously swallowed and stuttered as she recounted what had happened.

After Lillian returned home, she freshened up, chatted with Shirley for a bit, and then went back to her room.

She was about to go to sleep when Shirley burst in with her phone.

"Lilian, Nathan is supporting you on Twitter, you have to see this!"

She jumped onto the bed and held up her phone for Lillian to see.

Lillian saw the tweet Nathan had posted.

Nathan: [Fifty million dollars for Light's new song debut. Light, please look at me.]

Nathan had over thirty million followers on Twitter, and today Lillian was trending on the hot search list again, gaining more popularity.

As soon as Nathan posted this, his fans rushed in, initially thinking he was being sarcastic.

But Nathan directly replied to a fan.

Nathan: [Light is truly my idol. I've liked her for two years. Stop the nonsense, I don't joke about my idol.]

All of this had happened five minutes ago, and now, five minutes later, Lillian's Twitter had been taken over by Nathan's fans.

"Wow, look at how fast your followers are increasing! Nathan's fans are coming to your defense!" Shirley shouted.

Shirley was ecstatic, and Lillian, feeling a mix of emotions, never expected Nathan to do this.

She now owed him a big favor.

"Wow! Nathan is something, he knows how to handle things." Shirley praised with a nod.

She had been battling with haters all day, and now that weight on her chest had finally been lifted.

Thinking about how Wendy must be fuming, Shirley felt even more admiration for Nathan.

As Lillian scrolled through the screen, she came across some negative comments, causing her to pause.

[Light is too guilty to respond. Nathan is risking himself.]

[Supporting someone who has no talent or morals and only cares about money, Nathan is so foolish!]

Lillian frowned her blows. She had planned to respond to this matter the next day, but with Nathan publicly supporting her, the situation had escalated.

If she didn't respond now, she couldn't predict how things would unfold, and she didn't want to drag Nathan into any more trouble.

She got up to get her laptop. "I'll respond right now."

"Sure. But Lilian, how do you plan to respond..."

Shirley leaned over next to Lillian, watching the screen intently.

Three minutes later, Lillian posted the evidence she had prepared on Twitter, and Shirley, after reading it, clapped her hands on her thighs.

"Exactly! Wendy accused you of being greedy, but you never took that money. What are you afraid of? Once this evidence is out, the haters won't have any reason to attack you anymore! Oh, I'm so dumb. Why didn't I think of this sooner?"

The evidence Lillian presented was none other than screenshots of bank transfers.

The money from Jackson was transferred out within ten minutes and was put in a disabled welfare institution.

At the same time, Lillian also shared the financial records of her annual donations to charity.

Over the past three to four years, she had donated a total of two million dollars under this identity, and not a single penny of that income had been used for herself.

Wendy's accusation of greed was truly a joke.

Her response was like a resounding slap to the faces of the haters and Wendy.

"This is a complete turnaround. It's great!"

Shirley hugged Lillian and planted a kiss on her cheek.

Lillian was swept up in her emotions and smiled as well.

At that moment, there was a sudden knocking on the door.
