Chapter 434

"Shirley, wake up! Answer me!"

Lillian's hands shook uncontrollably. She didn't dare touch Shirley. So much blood was pooling under her head.

"Help! Someone help!" Lillian yelled.

Her vision blurred, everything seemed like a ghostly blur. Only the red under Shirley stood out.

It was her fault. She knew the wedding was a bad idea but went ahead with it anyway, and now Shirley was hurt.

Jackson didn't know what happened but he saw Lillian kneeling, trembling in front of an unconscious Shirley in a pool of blood. The blood had soaked into Lillian's wedding dress, turning it a deep, horrifying red.

He felt like an iron claw had gripped his heart, making it hard to breathe.

"Lillian," he called, but she didn't seem to hear him.

Jackson was flustered, but one thing was clear: Shirley couldn't be hurt. If anything happened to her, his relationship with Lillian would be over.

He knelt, carefully lifting Shirley's head to cover the wound. "Get a doctor! Now!" he shouted at the panicked hotel staff.

The hotel manager snapped out of it and called for help.

"Lillian, don't worry. The doctor and ambulance are on the way," Jackson tried to comfort her.

Lillian's vacant eyes landed on his face. When she recognized him, her eyes flashed with disgust and indifference.

Jackson had never seen such an expression in Lillian's eyes. She was usually gentle and obedient, never one to start conflicts. But now, she looked at him with intense loathing, even hatred.

"Don't touch her with your filthy hands!" she said in a strange, hoarse voice.

Jackson's face turned cold and dark. Lillian looked around and found the person she wanted.

"Barry! Barry, please save Shirley! I'm begging you," she pleaded.

Lillian saw Barry and felt a glimmer of hope. Barry had come out after hearing someone had fallen. As soon as he got through the crowd, Lillian grabbed his pant leg and pleaded tearfully.

Seeing her tear-streaked face, Barry quickly stepped forward. "Don't panic, let me check."

He was a doctor, calm and composed. His professionalism soothed others.

Lillian's panic started to ease.

"Mr. Frane, let go," Barry said. Jackson's face was dark, his fists clenched, but he stepped aside for Barry.

Barry was the right person for this.

"The impact missed the more dangerous areas, but the bleeding is severe. Applying pressure was correct, but she needs surgery immediately!" Barry said, using a special technique to stop the bleeding.

Lillian bit her lip, tasting blood, and nodded mechanically.
