Chapter 327 Having Fun?
Lillian was a bit exasperated, and Nathan grabbed the phone, saying, "Lillian, our album dropped today, and it's blowing up! The trending topics are all about it. You're our choreographer, but you didn't pay attention to us. It's too much! We even mentioned you!"
Lillian was completely shocked and quickly apologized. "Sorry, I've been so busy. Congratulations. You guys are amazing!"
Nathan snorted, "An apology isn't enough. We're having a party at Ethereal Sky Restaurant, and you have to come."
Lillian had already checked Twitter and was astonished to see that because the SV boy band mentioned her, she had gained almost 300 thousand followers in one day.
She couldn't refuse anymore. She also wanted to relax and ease her mind off the troubles, so she agreed immediately. After she hung up, her phone rang again.
Thinking it was Nathan with more details, she looked down to see it was Jackson calling.
Her hand paused as she was about to answer, but the ringtone persisted.
Lillian finally picked up, and Jackson's deep voice came through. "Why aren't you here yet?"
Lillian thought, 'Why should I go? Should I let you and your buddies mock me to my face?'
Lillian was already heading to Ethereal Sky Restaurant and couldn't go to the hospital, so she said, "I'm not feeling well. I won't be coming."
Jackson, hearing her weak voice, assumed she hadn't rested well from taking care of him the past few days and said, "Then rest well at home. If you need anything, call Tina or me, okay?"
Hearing his seemingly caring words, Lillian felt a pang in her nose.
She could hardly tell which of his words were true and which were false anymore.
"Okay," she responded and hung up. Then, she logged onto Twitter to reply to some messages and private DMs.
When Lillian arrived at Ethereal Sky Restaurant, Nathan and the others were indeed there.
Lillian was already very familiar with them from training, and they surrounded her, seating her in the center of the booth.
Nathan and the others were clearly energized and excited about their success and the recognition they received today. They enthusiastically talked to Lillian, almost overwhelming her.
Meanwhile, Mike and Gray entered Ethereal Sky Restaurant and headed to a private room on the second floor. But they were drawn by the commotion and glanced over, seeing Lillian being the center of attention.
Mike immediately took out his phone, snapped a picture, and sent it to their group chat on Facebook.
Mike: [Jackson, looks like Lillian is out having fun!]
Gray was also quite pleased and sent a message.
Gray: [Jackson, they're arguing over whether to give Lillian milk or orange juice, and they're about to fight!]
Lillian, unaware that her celebration with Nathan and the others had been photographed, toasted the seven boys with juice instead of alcohol and played a couple of games before standing up.
With things on her mind, she couldn't fully immerse herself and found it a bit noisy.
Lillian said goodbye to Nathan, grabbed her bag, and walked through the dance floor towards the door.
She wanted to go outside for some fresh air.
As she reached the door, she saw Ava in a red bodycon dress being supported by Ryan and Luke on either side, heading her way.
"Alright, we're going home soon. Stop making a fuss."
"Don't struggle. You might fall."
Ryan and Luke, who were supporting Ava, said loudly.
Lillian initially glanced casually but quickly realized something was wrong.
Ava had clearly lost the ability to move on her own and was being forcibly dragged by Ryan and Luke.
Her body language screamed resistance, and Ryan even covered Ava's mouth.
A flash of light revealed Ava's disheveled hair and terrified, pleading eyes in the dim lit bar.
Thinking of how some men lurk around bars looking for drunk women to take home, Lillian was instantly alarmed. She didn't rush in but planned to find security as soon as they passed.
Unexpectedly, as the three passed her, Ava suddenly grabbed Lillian's hair.
Lillian felt a sharp pain in her scalp, stumbled, and bumped into the burly Luke.
"Sorry, she's had too much to drink..." Luke instinctively apologized to Lillian, but when he turned and saw her stunning, elegant face, his voice stopped abruptly, and a glint of lust and malice flashed in his eyes.
