Chapter 436

Just as Jackson reached the hall entrance, Gray stormed out, grabbing Jackson by the collar, saying, "Jackson, if you're not ready for this wedding, don't go through with it! Why drag others into it?"

Lyra had just calmed the guests, but her blood pressure spiked again.

He and Mike helped Lyra to the lounge, only to find out something had happened to Shirley.

Jackson's face was cold, eyes gloomy. "Move aside!"

Seeing the tension, Mike pulled Gray away. "You should go to the hospital. Ms. James is in trouble, and Jackson doesn't want this either."

With the wedding a mess, Jackson and Lillian must be equally upset.

Gray hurried off.

Mike lagged behind. "Jackson, where did you go?"

Jackson's lips pressed together. After a moment, he said, "Star is back."

Mike understood, his expression complex. "I see. But today is your wedding with Lillian. No matter who it's for, you've gone too far! Lillian is probably heartbroken and won't forgive you easily this time."

Seeing Jackson's tense expression, Mike said no more. He patted Jackson's shoulder. "Mrs. Lyra Frane is very angry. You should go see her."

Mike left, and Jackson strode into the hall.

The hall was beautifully decorated, with fresh roses creating a romantic atmosphere.

The flowers glistened with morning dew, and the wine still exuded a rich aroma.

But the guests had all left, and the once vibrant hall now felt eerily silent.

Jackson stepped onto the stage, standing alone.

He glanced to the side, as if seeing Lillian in her wedding dress, smiling under her veil.

Jackson's lips moved slightly, his voice hoarse. "Honey, I'm sorry. I love you."

But she was no longer there, and the wedding was over.

The only response was the sound of Harry's footsteps.

"Mr. Frane, Mrs. Daisy Frane and Ms. Sivan have been found. Mrs. Daisy Frane returned to Golden Oaks Manor, and Ms. Sivan went to the hospital. She should be in Susan's room now.

"Also, the waiter who tampered with the equipment and projected the diary contents has been found."

Jackson's expression remained cold and calm. "I'll interrogate that waiter myself later. You go to Golden Oaks Manor and bring Mrs. Daisy Frane to the hospital."

Harry nodded and turned to leave, but glanced back.

Jackson's tall silhouette had disappeared from the stage as he exited through the side door, his steps steady and firm, showing no signs of distress.

Of course, someone like Jackson would remain calm and composed.

How could Jackson possibly lose his cool and talk to himself on stage?

He must have been mistaken.

When Jackson arrived at Lyra's lounge, the doctor had already left, and Martin was with Lyra.

"Grandma, are you okay?" Jackson walked up quickly.

Seeing him, Lyra couldn't control her temper. "Why are you here? You might as well not come back!"

Martin frowned. "Mom, the accident wasn't Jackson's fault. It all started with Lillian's diary.

"Since she and Jackson don't love each other, they shouldn't have been forced together because of that incident in the first place.

"In my opinion, since the wedding didn't go through, you should respect their wishes and let them divorce."

Lyra felt her blood pressure rising again.

At this moment, Jackson said firmly, "I won't divorce her!"
