Chapter 325 Blood Bag
Lillian first went to check on Jeffrey and opened the dinner she had prepared for him.
"This is so delicious! Lillian, you're so talented. Honestly, Jackson doesn't deserve you! As a man, besides being rich and good-looking, he has no other merits. This is so good. I love you, Lillian." Jeffrey ate heartily, not forgetting to routinely belittle Jackson.
After all, Jackson often made Lillian sad.
Lillian wiped the soup from the corner of Jeffrey's mouth with a napkin and shook her head with a smile.
As a man, Jackson's handsomeness and wealth was enough to make women flock to him.
She really couldn't tell if Jeffrey was mocking Jackson or praising him.
She stood up and said, "Take your time eating. I won't keep you company."
Jeffrey pouted and said, "Your heart is only with Jackson. Go on."
Lillian ruffled his hair and walked out.
When she got outside and turned around, she unexpectedly bumped into Daisy.
Lillian paused slightly and just nodded at Daisy.
She had previously promised Daisy that she would divorce and leave immediately, but she hadn't done it yet. Daisy must have a lot of thoughts and dissatisfaction toward her.
Lillian didn't want to invite trouble.
She was about to walk past Daisy when Daisy said unhappily, "Now that you're pregnant with the child of the Frane family, you don't even address me, right?"
Lillian had to stop. It wasn't that she didn't know how to address Daisy. She just didn't know what to call Daisy at that moment.
"I thought you probably wouldn't want me to call you Mom anymore," Lillian said.
Lillian thought that with Daisy's personality, she would definitely be sarcastic.
But to her surprise, Daisy just frowned and then said, "Since you have Jackson's child and have decided to live together, I am naturally still your mother-in-law. If you call me, I will respond."
Lillian pressed her lips and said, "Mom."
Daisy nodded. "Now that you have a child, just take good care of the child. Take care of your health and give birth to the child as soon as possible. That's the most important thing for Jeffrey! You don't need to do anything else. What if something goes wrong?"
Saying this was a rare act of kindness for Daisy.
However, when Lillian heard it, she felt extremely uncomfortable.
She frowned slightly and said, "Taylor is Jackson's and my child. Of course, I will take good care of her, but I will still do what I want to do! I know what I should and shouldn't do, so you don't need to worry about it."
Lillian nodded and walked away.
Daisy's face changed suddenly, and she looked back unhappily at Lillian's departing figure, cursing, "Lillian is getting more and more sharp-tongued!"
Anna advised, "Mrs. Frane, the umbilical cord blood from the baby inside Lillian's womb is undoubtedly capable of saving Jeffery. God arranged for her to get pregnant at this time, so you don't need to worry."
Daisy held back her temper and instructed, "Remember to ask the doctor later what Lillian should eat during pregnancy to promote the growth of the umbilical cord and placenta. We can't have too little umbilical cord blood when the time comes!"
Her words clearly showed that she saw Taylor in Lillian's belly as nothing more than a blood bag, lacking warmth.
Anna quickly nodded. "Got it, Mrs. Frane."
Lillian carried the lunch box to the elevator, but it didn't come up for a long time. Jackson's ward was just downstairs, so she decided to take the stairs.
She pushed open the door and had only taken a few steps when she heard two people smoking and chatting in the stairwell.
"Harry went on a date during his vacation a few days ago. How did it go?"
"No way, Harry doesn't go for ordinary women."
"Sure, if Harry hadn't been on vacation, Mr. Frane wouldn't have been easily hurt by Deborah."
"This whole thing is strange. Deborah had been following Mr. Frane for days before she made her move, and it just so happened that Harry was on vacation when she did. Mr. Frane is even better at fighting than Harry. Even if Harry wasn't there, Deborah shouldn't have been able to hurt him."
