Chapter 126 Find a Divorce Lawyer

The next day.

When Terry came to pick up Jackson early in the morning, Jackson had not come down from upstairs yet.

Tina said, "Mr. Frane had breakfast and went back upstairs again. You can go up and wait for him."

Terry was somewhat surprised. Jackson, who was a workaholic, seemed a bit unusual today.

When Terry realized that Jackson was not in the study but still in the dressing room choosing a tie, he felt even more puzzled.

Lillian hadn't noticed this, even turning around and asking with two ties in his hand. "Which one is better?"

Terry stared and was unable to see the difference between the two ties, which were both dark blue with patterns.

Was the grid slightly larger on the left?

"The one on the left?" Terry hurriedly said under Jackson's impatient gaze.

Two minutes later, Jackson put on the tie on the right and walked past Terry expressionlessly.

However, on the way to the company, Terry still felt that Jackson's mood was different today.

It wasn't until after a morning meeting, hearing Jackson's instructions, that Terry understood why he was so different.

"You go to the café downstairs and wait for Lillian. If she admits her mistake, bring her up here."

Terry fell silent.

So it was Lillian who had softened Lillian.

Terry said with a smile, "Should I clear your schedule for lunch and make a reservation at a restaurant?"

Jackson looked at the data chart on the computer and said, "You handle the arrangements."

Terry stifled a laugh. No wonder Jackson was so indecisive about the tie style, it turned out he had a date with Lillian today.

Terry arrived at the café, and Lillian was already there.

However, she was not alone. There was a middle-aged man with glasses sitting next to her.

Terry was a bit confused about the situation as he approached.

"Ms. Frane."

Lillian glanced behind Terry, and she hadn't much change in expression without seeing Jackson. She pointed to the man beside her and introduced him to Terry.

The smile on Terry's face gradually froze.

Ten minutes later, Terry returned to the CEO's office.

When he entered, Jackson's gaze was still on the computer, only asking, "Did she admit her mistake?"

He only heard footsteps, but he assumed Lillian should be behind.

He was so angry with her last night for leaving him behind in the car. She should reflect on herself.

During this time, she had been stubborn, even blocking him. However, last night, she quietly added him back and invited him to meet, indicating she must have realized her mistake.

As for why she didn't come up directly, it was probably out of embarrassment.

"Mr. Frane..."

Terry hesitated, and Jackson's gaze finally moved away from the computer to look at him.

His gaze fell on Terry's hand. "What are you holding?"

Terry braced himself, gritted his teeth, and quickly placed the document in front of Jackson.

"Mr. Frane, this is the revised divorce agreement prepared by Ms. Frane. She said she has agreed to the divorce terms you proposed earlier. She also brought a lawyer and asked me to bring the revised document for you to sign and then take it downstairs."

With a few words, Terry felt sweat forming on his back.

Jackson thought Lillian came to beg for his forgiveness, but who knew, she had brought a divorce lawyer with her instead.

Terry felt embarrassed for Jackson.
