Chapter 145 Embracing Her From Behind

Even though he was just helping her take off her pants to apply for some medicine, he made it sound like something more had happened between them.

Lillian blushed and tried to push him away.

But Jackson caught her hand, brought it to his lips, lightly kissed it, and asked with a smile, "Do you like it when I kiss you like this?"

Lillian felt the tingling sensation travel through her entire body from her fingertips, like an electric shock.

Unconsciously, she leaned softly into his arms, too ashamed to speak.

Was this considered flirting?

Although they had been intimate before, they had never flirted like a couple in this way.

Jackson was not like this before. He was very silent and restrained in bed.

Even in the most intense moments of passion, he had never said anything flirtatious like this or asked her if she liked it.

The previous sexual encounters made her feel like he was just satisfying his desires.

But now, even though he hadn't done anything, just kissing her fingers and nuzzling her ears and neck, Lillian felt like surrendering to him.

This was too scary.

She shouldn't allow herself to sink into this.

Lillian suddenly opened her eyes wide and pulled her hand back.

"I don't like it!"

She bit her tongue, forcing herself to look at Jackson and speak firmly and decisively.

The smile on Jackson's handsome face gradually froze. His thin lips slightly curled as he mockingly said, "Take a good look at this. Actions speak louder than words."

As raising his slender fingers, Jackson gestured and drew Lillian's attention.

The sunlight outside the car window shone through the leaves and onto his fingertips, which glistened with a layer of water-like sheen.

At first, Lillian didn't understand what it was, but when she felt Jackson's teasing gaze and thought about where his fingers had just been, her mind suddenly clicked, and she blushed like an untouched virgin.

"Pervert!"

With embarrassment, she turned around and quickly put on the remaining pant leg.

Her hands and feet were weak, and in her haste, she fumbled like a child, struggling to put on the pants properly.

Jackson calmly took out a tissue, wiped his fingers, and then effortlessly lifted Lillian onto his lap.

He used one hand to support her hips and the other helping her pull up her pants.

Lillian tried to zip up the pants herself, but her fingers trembled, and the zipper seemed stuck.

Above her head, Jackson's muffled laughter rang out again. He reached out to cover her hand, guiding her to zip up the pants and teasing her in her ear.

"No need to thank me."

Lillian didn't want to stay in the same space with him for another moment.

Fortunately, they had arrived at the hospital by then.

Jackson got out of the car, and Lillian followed suit and pushed the car door.

But as soon as she jumped out of the car, her body felt light as Jackson lifted her again.

"I can walk by myself," she said.

"Your legs aren't weak again, are they?" Jackson teased.

Lillian remained silent.

She was afraid he would say something more inappropriate, so she just kept her mouth shut.

Jackson escorted her to the ophthalmology clinic, where the doctor examined her and said it was nothing serious, just a minor infection. He prescribed an eye drop and instructed her to use it for two days.

After leaving the hospital, Lillian refused to get back into the car with Jackson.

Jackson's expression turned cold. "You're injured and need someone to take care of you! Come back to the Peace Mansion with me."

Lillian stood there. Her eyes were still red, but she could open them now.

She looked at him and said, "This minor injury is nothing at all. Mr. Frane, you don't need to bother."

She was as cold as ice, showing no trace of the coquettish behavior she had displayed in the car earlier.

Jackson chuckled in frustration. "You're not blind anymore. You don't need me, so now you call me Mr. Frane again?"

For some reason, the look in his eyes made Lillian feel a little guilty.

She forced herself to ignore it, but she hadn't forgotten that Wendy was still in Jackson's bed.

She nodded and said, "That's true. I'm leaving."

As she turned to go, Jackson suddenly took a step forward and embraced her from behind.
