Chapter 376 Seek for Forgiveness
In the Peace Mansion, Tina, pale as a ghost, was being watched by two bodyguards.
Seeing Jackson come out, Tina immediately broke free from the two bodyguards, rushed forward, and knelt on the ground.
She was about to beg for forgiveness, but Jackson was worried she would wake up Lillian, who was sleeping upstairs.
With just a glance, the bodyguards covered Tina's mouth and dragged her away.
Tina's eyes were filled with tears of fear, and her heart was full of regret.
She knew that if she couldn't seize this opportunity to ask for forgiveness, she would face severe punishment.
However, Jackson didn't give her this chance. Tina watched helplessly as he got into the car, which sped away.
Tina's eyes showed despair as she was dragged out of the Peace Mansion by the two bodyguards.
"Get out," one of the bodyguards said disdainfully.
They didn't do anything to her, but Tina felt even more terrified. She got up from the ground and asked, "Is Mr. Frane really just letting me go?"
The bodyguard turned back and sneered. "You should go home and see for yourself."
Tina had targeted Jackson's wife and child, and Jackson, being fair, retaliated against Tina's husband and son.
Tina had first been bribed to betray because her husband and son were both addicted to gambling and owed a considerable amount of debt.
This time, Jackson made them gamble even more and owe even more.
When Tina returned, the family she wanted to maintain was probably already gone.
Offending Jackson meant she had no future in Miracalia.
Tina understood this. As the bodyguards left, she ran frantically towards her home in terror.
Half an hour later, Jackson calmly entered Golden Oaks Manor, and Daisy, who was sitting on the couch in the living room, stood up with a grim face.
Standing beside her were two bodyguards, both of whom were Harry's men.
They were very skilled, had tough tempers, and only took orders from Jackson, completely ignoring Daisy's commands.
They had brought Daisy back from the hospital and had been watching her ever since, which had filled Daisy with rage.
Seeing Jackson come in at this moment, Daisy's anger surged. She picked up an ashtray from the table and threw it at him, exclaiming, "Jackson!"
Jackson sidestepped, and the ashtray was smashed heavily to a vase behind him, shattering it into pieces.
That vase was something Daisy had bought at an auction, and she immediately felt distressed.
Daisy questioned him angrily, "What exactly are you doing? I am your mother, Lillian's mother-in-law. It's proper for me to ask Lillian to do an amniocentesis! Why do you hate me so much that you have your people watch me like a prisoner?"
Daisy could hardly believe that Jackson was angry with her over such a small matter.
Seeing Daisy's anger, Jackson stood there, his expression calm and his voice steady. "I'm here to tell you that from today on, these two bodyguards will stay by your side to protect your safety until Lillian gives birth."
Claiming to protect her safety was just an excuse to keep a close watch on her, restrict her freedom, and monitor her every move.
Daisy felt furious.
However, Jackson had no intention of discussing it with Daisy. After speaking, he turned to leave.
Daisy, irate, circled the coffee table and chased after him, yelling, "Are you treating me like this just because Martin is on a business trip? Stop right there!"
