Chapter 363 His Beloved

Lillian believed that she would be free to love in the future. When the wind stopped, her love would stop, too.

"Jackson, what's wrong?" Over there, Dominic saw Jackson suddenly turn around and stare at the end of the hallway, asking.

Jackson withdrew his gaze, thinking, 'I'm probably too deeply affected by Lillian to feel restless all day, which leads to this illusion.'

He always felt that Lillian was watching him, but there was clearly no one.

"Nothing. There's wind here. Don't let Aunt Susan catch a cold. Let's go in." Jackson stepped forward and went to push Susan.

Star walked up to him, pointing to the clothes on her arm and saying, "Jackson, you left your jacket in the ward this morning. I brought it for you."

Jackson had rushed out of the house in the morning after hearing Lillian and Daisy arguing, leaving the hospital quickly.

He nodded at Star. "Thank you."

They left, and Lillian came out and returned to the private room.

Soon, Amelia and Shirley came in together.

After dinner, Lillian found an excuse to leave the private room. She went to the front desk to pay the bill and stepped outside for some fresh air.

Unexpectedly, she saw Star again.

Star was squatting by a flower bed not far away, feeding a few cats kept by the restaurant. The warm yellow light fell on her, and her eyes were gentle, full of smiles.

The scene looked very beautiful. A child ran over and reached out to touch one of the kittens.

Star raised her hand to stop the child, and her voice came over. "Kid, didn't your mom teach you that you can't just touch cats outside? Be careful. You might get scratched, and then you won't be cute anymore, and you'll have to get a painful shot."

"But they're so cute. Can I feed them?" The child asked.

"Of course you can. The cat food is over there. I'll take you to get it. However, next time you feed the cats, you need an adult with you, okay?" Star taught the child gently.

"Why?" The child asked.

"Cats are cute, but they're also very mischievous," Star replied.

Star walked away with the child, and Lillian realized she had been staring at them for a long time.

Maybe all women were like this, curious about the woman their husband liked.

Lillian wanted to know what kind of person Jackson's beloved was.

And now she knew.

It turned out that the woman Jackson liked was gentle, kind-hearted, and excellent in every way.

Lillian suddenly found spying on Star ridiculous and pathetic. She chuckled softly, turned around abruptly, and wanted to leave.

But unexpectedly, she bumped into a warm, firm body. Lillian tried to step back.

However, the person reached out and tightly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling Lillian back into his embrace. The familiar scent of Jackson filled her nostrils.

Jackson's light blue suit came into view, and Lillian felt a pang in her heart. She raised her hand and pushed him hard.

"So it was you. Why did you hide when you saw me just now?" Jackson asked. He forcefully pulled Lillian's waist and moved two steps into the shadows, pressing her against the wall.

Lillian looked up, angrily saying, "Let go of me, or I'll scream!"

Jackson seemed not to hear her threat. He bent down, buried his face in Lillian's neck, took a deep breath, and frowned at her. "You've been drinking?"

How could Lillian have been drinking?

The smell of alcohol on her must have come from Shirley and Amelia.

She shook her head and pushed Jackson. "No, I don't. You..."

Jackson interrupted her with a sullen expression, "You don't care about Taylor at all. You insist on dancing while pregnant. I don't believe you now! I only trust my verification!"

He finished coldly, suddenly grabbed Lillian's chin, and lifted her face.

Lillian's eyes widened, and before she could react, he sealed her lips with his.

Jackson's agile tongue forcefully entered her mouth, ignoring her resistance and refusal, drawing her into a fiery passion.
