Chapter 331 Didn't Seem Happy
Jackson pressed his forehead against hers, then kissed Lillian's lips.
From gentle to deep, his kiss was tender and passionate, and his large hand gently caressed behind her ear.
When they parted, Jackson's voice was slightly hoarse as he said, "Lillian, I'm very happy."
Jackson's large hand gently rubbed her earlobe as he added, "Because you put on these earrings again. They look good. Don't take them off anymore."
Lillian was slightly stunned. She had returned to the Peace Mansion yesterday and put on the gardenia earrings he had given her.
She had made breakfast herself and brought it to the hospital, only to hear the bodyguards' conversation.
But now she didn't know if putting the earrings back on was redundant.
Jackson clearly didn't notice Lillian's emotions. His mind didn't seem to be on her, and his tenderness felt perfunctory.
He quickly let go of Lillian, ruffled her hair, and said, "I'm leaving."
After saying that, Jackson turned and walked quickly towards the door of the ward. Lillian watched his back and suddenly said, "Jackson, can you come back to the Frane Mansion for lunch after you're done?"
She hadn't finished talking with him.
Jackson stopped in his tracks and turned his head, saying, "So clingy? Alright, I'll come home early to be with you."
Lillian smiled faintly.
Jackson stepped out, and Terry followed. When they reached the elevator, Jackson looked carefully at his reflection and suddenly turned to stare at Terry.
Terry felt strange being stared at, and Jackson smirked. "Terry, did you tie your tie yourself?"
Terry was puzzled.
Jackson's eyes showed a hint of criticism as he mocked, "The tie is a bit crooked, not very nice."
After saying that, he turned and entered the elevator first.
Terry hurried to follow, feeling speechless inside.
If he wasn't mistaken, Jackson used to tie his ties, too.
Inside the elevator, Terry still checked his reflection in the mirror on the elevator wall.
Was it crooked?
He thought it looked fine.
Terry still raised his hand to adjust it, but he was still frustrated with Jackson's behavior.
Especially since he had just recently gone through a breakup.
His body was being exploited by Jackson, and now his mind was being tormented, too.
It was really too much.
So Terry said to Jackson's back, "Mr. Frane, I noticed Mrs. Frane didn't seem very happy when you left."
Jackson turned back and retorted, "She was clearly very happy."
Terry immediately said, "Didn't you notice that Mrs. Frane's smile was very forced when you didn't eat the breakfast she brought?"
"Really? You're overthinking it. Focus more on your work," Jackson said.
Terry fell silent.
He thought to himself, 'How did Jackson manage to win Lillian back? Does good looks really mean everything? Damn it!'
Terry made up his mind to pick up some facial masks to pamper his complexion fter work.
Lillian quickly packed up her things and saw Grace and York walking towards her as she left the ward.
Grace was holding a bouquet, and York was carrying some nutritional supplements.
They also saw Lillian and walked quickly towards her.
Lillian looked at them and thought of the hair sample she had taken from Wendy earlier. She still needed samples from Grace and York to redo the paternity test.
